在回顾下游控制交货期决策权并完全承担缩短交货期费用的决策模型的基础上,研究基于上游先公布交货时间下游再决定订货批量的订货过程,并建立缩短交货期的费用按一定比例由上下游分担条件下的供应商的交货期决策模型,同时提出了供应商基于费用分担的交货策略。并通过算例进行了分析与证实。     

Extending the “P” perspective: An institutional account of management research in Australia

In commenting Meyer’s article “Asian management research needs more self-confidence” in APJM (2006), Yang and Terjesen (Asia Pacific Journal of Management, 24(4):497–507, 2007) described ground realities in Australia that may have inhibited the development of a robust management research community. As an Australia-trained and Australia-based Asian management scholar, I extend the “P” perspective by exploring how the formal and informal institutions interact in shaping Australia-based scholars’ publication strategies and research performance. Reflecting on my experience in Australia, I argue that like in any other businesses, institutions matter in our business of research and publication. They matter because they can shape the local “rule of the game” within which a country’s or a region’s scholars conduct and publish their research. A full institutional account of the current state of management research in the Asia Pacific region requires a deeper understanding of both formal and informal local institutions. From such an institutional perspective, this commentary concentrates on why Australian management research lags behind that in the US and Europe and yet leads the Asia Pacific region.

An investigation of ingratiation as a career management strategy: evidence from Singapore

In spite of the recognition that career politics, and therefore ingratiation, is widely used to manage careers, there is a dearth of empirical studies on ingratiation as a career management strategy. Consistent with Ferris and Kacmar's (1988) suggestion, the study reported here investigated the conditions (defined by situational variables, career concerns and personality variables) under which ingratiation is used as a career management strategy. Data were obtained through a structured questionnaire from professional employees (N = 214) in public and private sector organizations in Singapore.

Factor analysis of the 21-item career concerns scale revealed four solutions representing internal and external career concerns. The results of the hierarchical regression revealed that situational variables explained most of the variance in ingratiation, followed by career concerns and personality variables. Among the individual variables, task ambiguity, supervisor reward power, managerial responsibility and need for achievement were significant while personal success approached significance. Internal career concern of autonomy development was unrelated to ingratiation. Of the interaction terms, only supervisor reward power and Machiavellianism approached significance. Directions for future studies are suggested.

Bayesian robust designs for linear models with possible bias and correlated errors

Consider the design problem for the approximately linear model with serially correlated errors. The correlated structure is the qth degree moving average process, MA(q), especially for q = 1, 2. The optimal design is derived by using Bayesian approach. The Bayesian designs derived with various priors are compared with the classical designs with respect to some specific correlated structures. The results show that any prior knowledge about the sign of the MA(q) process parameters leads to designs that are considerately more efficient than the classical ones based on homoscedastic assumptions.     

舌金融危机时期中国中小型出口企业发展对策研究——以青岛为例

近几年来,中国中小型出口企业无论在规模还是实力上,都得到了快速发展。在后金融危机时期,中小型出口企业仍然面临订单减少、生产规模萎缩,贸易摩擦频繁、应收账款风险加大,原材料价格上涨、用工成本增加,人民币升值,银行信贷紧缩,融资更加困难,基础管理水平低、创新能力较差等问题。基于此,本文主要从政府、金融机构及中小型出口企业的角度,探讨各自应采取的措施。
