转型期农民工养老保险制度评析和模式选择

当前国内已形成了三种类型的农民工养老保险制度:纳入城保型、单独保险型、综合保险型。对三种制度的参与、权益享受、待遇水平等比较之后发现,三种制度各有优劣。农民工养老保险的模式设计应注意民意、经济、技术等的可行性,应按照农民工不同群体的特点和需求分别建立不同层次不同类型的社会养老保险模式。     

家族企业资本结构对经营绩效影响的实证研究——以深圳市上市家族企业为例

上市家族企业资本结构与企业经营绩效之间存在复杂关系,基于我国深圳市上市家族企业相关数据,借助回归分析法及相关系数法,本文分析得出以下结论:深圳市上市家族企业资本结构与每股收益之间存在负相关关系;资本结构与摊薄净资产收益率之间存在强的正相关关系;资本结构与每股经营现金流之间存在负相关关系但不明显。同时根据深圳市上市家族企业的实际情况及实证结论,完善家族企业公司治理结构,应该从金融体系的建立、融资结构的安排及融资期限的协调等方面入手。     

Materialism through the eyes of Polish and American consumers

The research applies the Material Values Scale (MVS; Richins and Dawson, 1992) cross-culturally by comparing materialism among Polish and American business students. Cultural differences (e.g., greater humanistic/collectivistic/Christian values in Poland) suggest lower MVS scores for Poles than for Americans. This prediction is consistent with the Local Culture hypothesis (i.e., that a strong local culture results in maintenance of traditional values in defense against global forces). Contrary to predictions, data suggest no Polish-American materialism differences, a finding consistent with the globalization hypothesis (i.e., increasing globalization leads to relatively uniform worldwide materialism). As a precursor to hypotheses testing, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) tests the construct validity and cross-cultural validity of the MVS. The findings suggest substantial difficulties with the scale that limit the confidence in conclusions based on the scale. Based on these findings, future research discussion aims at developing a measure of materialism with potentially greater construct validity for cross-cultural applications.

The Impact of Relational Capital on the Success of New Business Start‐Ups

This study seeks to highlight the key role played by relational capital in new business start‐ups. Following a review of previous research examining the success factors of new ventures and the role played by intellectual capital, our study sets out to achieve this objective by analyzing the impact of a set of intangible relational assets on the initial success of new business start‐ups. Based on a study of 130 firms, we analyzed six hypotheses regarding the possible positive relationship between the relational capital of a start‐up company and its success in its first few years of business.     

Marketing and society: Preface to special section on volunteerism, price assurances, and direct-to-consumer advertising

We discuss the reasons why this call for papers was issued and describe the process of selecting the three articles presented in this special section. We argue that maximizing stakeholder welfare and not just consumption maybe a new goal for marketing that will be consistent with emerging societal trends. Three articles on volunteerism, price assurances, and direct-to-consumer advertising result from our call and are presented in this section. This introduction is an overview of the three articles.     

Social exchange: Empirical examination of form and focus

We investigate similarities and differences among prominent types of social exchange (psychological contract fulfillment, perceived organizational support, trust in the organization, leader-member exchange, and trust in the supervisor) and propose that two higher-order factors represent social exchanges with the organization and with the supervisor. We investigate their prediction of important employee work attitudes, citizenship behaviors, and performance. Based on data from 448 employees, empirical tests support the existence of organization- and supervisor-directed social exchanges. Tests using structural equation modeling support unique predictions of attitudinal and behavioral work outcomes.
