In this paper a fuzzy quality function deployment to identify service management requirements for customer quality needs is developed. First, customer quality needs with importance degree have been investigated followed by development of service management requirements for satisfying the observed customer quality needs. Furthermore, construct a fuzzy relation matrix to link service management requirements and customer quality needs based on cross-functional expertise. The aggregated fuzzy assessments of various service management requirements are ranked to determine their importance priority. Finally, an empirical study for identifying the service management requirements for customer quality is used to demonstrate the proposed approach. 相似文献

The purpose of this mixed methods case study was to examine the generalization practices in qualitative research published in a reputable qualitative journal. In order to accomplish this, all qualitative research articles published in Qualitative Report since its inception in 1990 (n = 273) were examined. A quantitative analysis of the all 125 empirical qualitative research articles revealed that a significant proportion (i.e., 29.6%) of studies involved generalizations beyond the underlying sample that were made inappropriately by the author(s). A qualitative analysis identified the types of over-generalizations that occurred, which included making general recommendations for future practice and providing general policy implications based only on a few cases. Thus, a significant proportion of articles published in Qualitative Report lack what we call interpretive consistency. 相似文献

Instead of discussing employee’s performance that previous researchers emphasized in their studies on the work behavior of employees, this study analyzes employee involvement from the viewpoint of their emotional labor, organizational culture, and the intimacy relationships between employees and their supervisors. Large-scale financial holding conglomerates in Taiwan and subsidiaries of Hong Kong-based conglomerates were selected as the populations for the research. The result of the empirical analysis indicates that emotional labor has a significantly positive effect on the involvement of employees; the stronger the intimacy relationship between employees and their supervisors is, the higher the employee involvement will be, strong culture has a significantly negative effect on the involvement of employees, and there is a significant difference in a number of dimensions among some Chinese enterprises in Taiwan & Hong Kong. This study has the following characteristics in comparison with the previous studies: (1) The theoretical structure of this study is formed based on an integrated prospect of internal organizational structure, personal factors of employees and their interpersonal relationship; (2) the study focuses on a comparative study of regional enterprises, which was seldom emphasized in literature; (3) the study uses the Non-Linear Fuzzy Neural Network Model and multivariate analysis approach as tools for the research and may contribute more to the theory in this field. 相似文献

This paper treats advertising budgeting, which is a challenging issue for academicians and practitioners. A problem-solving tool, namely Project Advancement (PA), is employed to identify the characteristics of the budget allocation issue the advertising manager faces with. In line with the characteristics (i.e., fundamental objective (FO), the length of value-based time limit of advertising campaigns, and advancement strategy of advertising campaigns), an efficient allocation model for achieving the FO is then constructed. A case of theme park advertising budgeting throughout this paper provides insights into this approach and yields illustrations to the allocation model. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is employed for estimate of objective coefficients of the allocation model. Managerial implications are identified with regard to using the new approach. 相似文献

In this research the impact of two types of end anchors on the linearity of the category rating scale is studied. Two functional measurement experiments were carried out, each requiring a different kind of judgement, i.e., job satisfaction ratings and attractiveness ratings. One group of participants rated the stimuli using a category rating scale with fixed anchors, while another group was presented with a self-anchoring category rating scale. The results indicate that researchers can be confident in the ability of both category rating scales to provide linear data. This implies that the different end anchors do not impact on the linearity of the category rating scale. 相似文献

Daily diaries are a widely used measurement tool in studies on the use of social time. However, while their high level of accuracy is supported by a lot of research, scholars often voice doubts regarding the validity of the estimates obtained if the characteristic rhythm of the events in question is not completed within a 24-h period. This study attempts to explain why, although these statistics are not wrong, they need to be understood correctly before proceeding with research based on them. To overcome the problem we will propose a solution for new surveys where use of diaries of this type is scheduled. Although this solution is not without limitations, they are much less restrictive than those imposed by traditional daily diaries. 相似文献

Latent variable models (LVMs) offer one route to examine the quality of data collected in surveys. The possibility exists that individuals equivalent in their true level of a construct or variable being measured are unlikely to have equivalent observed responses as a function of an extraneous variable, e.g., group membership. This potential is labeled here as differential item functioning (DIF). Survey methods generally considers measurement bias to be estimators that do no not accurately reflect true values. DIF may be thought of as differential measurement bias, i.e., measurement bias conditional on group membership. As a function of group membership, the degree, amount, or type of measurement bias changes. DIF has the potential to negatively affect the quality of data. LVMs, e.g., confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), offer one tool to assess DIF. However, few published examples exist in the survey research field and training in the interpretation of these models is lacking. The purpose of the current paper is to describe CFA sufficiently for interpretive purposes and demonstrate an empirical application of CFA to assess survey data quality to provide further interpretive guidance. References are provided for analysts wishing to conduct analyses of this type. 相似文献

Ordered data arise naturally in many fields of statistical practice. Often some sample values are unknown or disregarded due to various reasons. On the basis of some sample quantiles from the Rayleigh distribution, the problems of estimating the Rayleigh parameter, hazard rate and reliability function, and predicting future observations are addressed using a Bayesian perspective. The construction of β-content and β-expectation Bayes tolerance limits is also tackled. Under squared-error loss, Bayes estimators and predictors are deduced analytically. Exact tolerance limits are derived by solving simple nonlinear equations. Highest posterior density estimators and credibility intervals, as well as Bayes estimators and predictors under linear loss, can easily be computed iteratively. 相似文献

Over recent years, parental leave policy in Canada has evolved quite considerably. Since 2001, Canadian employees have a right to a 1 year paid parental leave; those in the province of Québec have a better paid, more flexible regime. This paper first shows that Québec is somewhat of an exception in the North American context, with its inclusive mode of governance which contributes to positive policies in terms of family and childcare. This is due to a few elements: the recognition of a declining birthrate, but more importantly the significant involvement and actions of women’s advocacy organizations, in the context of an inclusive governance of family policy. We will defend the hypothesis that Québec has adopted a cumulative (or work–family balance) model in the field of work–family relation, while the US and English Canada tend to still resort mainly to a laissez-faire attitude, which to this day has limited employee rights in terms of parental leave, but also in terms of child care. 相似文献
