The mediating effects of interfirm business process integration and joint teamwork on firm performance in supply chains

This paper empirically examines the influences of strategic interdependence and resource complementarity on operational performance and relational performance of Chinese suppliers based on the resource-based view and resource dependence theory. In particular, it analyses the mediating effects of interfirm business process integration and joint teamwork. We apply structural equation modeling to analyze the survey data collected from logistics and supply chain managers, and derive the best model with theoretical foundation and statistical significance. As a result, our work has identified the mediating effects of interfirm business process integration and joint teamwork, and validated the assertion that strategic interdependence and resource complementarity as supply chain resources are fundamental to firm performance. It is stressed that resource capitalization requires interfirm business process integration and joint teamwork to realize the value of supply chain resources. The findings not only contribute to research on interfirm resources and performance, but also have practical implications for operations and supply chain management.

基坑土钉墙支护数值模拟研究

以某土钉墙支护基坑工程为例,应用国际较成熟的岩土工程模拟程序FLAC3D对支护稳定性模拟,模拟分析了基坑位移场、应力场分布规律、支护结构受力状况。并在现场施工过程中进行了在线监测,基坑变形量基本与模拟结果相近。理论和实践都证明了该支护是合理可靠的。该研究对以后基坑工程稳定性控制具有一定的指导意义。     

A study on KLR financial crisis early-warning model

The financial crisis early-warning models were improved gradually with the continued regional financial crises that provided a wealth of empirical data by the end of last century. However, none of the crisis early-warning models correctly predicted the global financial crisis in 2008. Previous researches show the KLR model have better performance, so we reviewed the crisis early-warning system based on the KLR model using the recently data. This paper first tested the KLR model, and made some amendments based on the actual economic environment. Then we re-test the modified model, which show an improved performance. At last, the future crisis probabilities of some selected countries are predicted by using the amendatory model.
