The aim of this article is to systematically describe and evaluate the foundation and extension of new study programs in communication and media science, and to develop further perspectives for the field. By means of a survey, the boom of programs in communication and media science at German universities is described. The various causes for this boom are not only found in the development of the media branch but also in the new (and perhaps questionable) responsibilities of university education that are subsumed under the concept of »media competence«. The article discusses the actual situation of the field against the background of the already existing debate about its self-conception. It names dimensions of the problem and develops consequences for the necessary structuring of the expanding university discipline of »communication and media science«. For the structuring, an intensified theoretical reflection about the subjects of the field, its methods, and the disassociation from neighbouring fields (still) seem to be important.  相似文献

Marketing efforts can offer firms a greater competitive advantage by overtly stimulating the impact of frontline logistics employees on customer value creation. In such a situation, internal marketing becomes the strategy of choice in both service and product support contexts. A broad marketing mix framework is introduced shifting the traditional application from marketing products to marketing the workplace to logistics distribution employees. Research findings support a multidimensional operationalization of internal marketing. Holistic tests indicate that internal marketing on an interpersonal level is associated with satisfied and higher performing distribution center employees and increased interdepartmental customer orientation.  相似文献

The aim of the study at hand is to analyze systematically the public discussion about the application of genetic engineering in an internationally comparative perspective. It presents the results of an analysis of the public debate about genetic engineering from 1973 to 1996 in Germany and eight additional European countries. Furthermore, a long-term analysis of the coverage of genetic engineering by the German daily newspaper 〉tageszeitung〈 was conducted. The results show that the coverage of the topic by the German media does not deserve its bad reputation. Its typical feature is rather normality in the sense of a critical benefit-orientation. Especially the German opinion-leading media (〉Der Spiegel〈, 〉Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung〈) reflect transnational developments profoundly and from multiple perspectives.  相似文献

We develop a model with incomplete markets and heterogeneousagents that generates a large equity premium, while simultaneouslymatching stock market participation and individual asset holdings.The high risk-premium is driven by incomplete risk sharing amongstockholders, which results from the combination of aggregateuncertainty, borrowing constraints, and a (realistically) calibratedlife-cycle earnings profile subject to idiosyncratic shocks.We show that it is challenging to simultaneously match assetpricing moments and individual portfolio decisions, while limitedparticipation has a negligible impact on the risk-premium, contraryto the results of models where it is imposed exogenously.  相似文献
