Drawing upon social capital theory and psychosocial development theory, this paper argues that a true buyer–seller relationship is a key determinant of favorable consumer behaviors for adolescent consumers of hairstylist services. Other important determinants include quality of the service delivery process (i.e., service quality as measured by the five SERVQUAL factors) and quality of the core service (in this case, the hairstylist's expertise). A survey of 350 adolescent consumers confirms these predictions. It shows that a true interpersonal relationship negatively moderates the positive effects of service quality on consumer satisfaction with, and overall assessment of the hairstylist. This negative moderating effect is labeled resource substitution benefit and the argument made that this is the fourth social capital benefit. This study attempts to elaborate the consequences of perceived risk by taking the moderating effects of decision‐making style (i.e., involvement vs. heuristics) into account in the context of online shopping. The integrated model is tested repeatedly in diverse purchasing situations with different Web presentation styles and product categories. The findings indicate that perceived risk toward the Web site/product influences purchasing intention through cognition‐ and affect‐based attitudes. Moreover, the moderating effects of decision‐making style on the relationship between perceived risk and its consequences are conditional. Since perceived risk appears very crucial for promoting online shopping, the results of this study may provide an influential reference for academicians and practitioners when considering the role of perceived risk in Web site marketing. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 相似文献

In January 2007, Vietnam became the 150th member of the World Trade Organization (WTO). Vietnam is located in the heart of Asia and has a resource-rich economy, which offers it a significant advantage in attracting foreign direct investments (FDIs). The research focuses on equity-based entry mode choices adopted by multinational corporations (MNCs) in the Greater Chinese Economic Area (GCEA) for entering Vietnam. The statistical results indicate that equity-based entry modes are significant when FDI firms entering Vietnam originate from the GCEA, which includes Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore. However, the interaction results show that industry does not have a moderating effect on the relationship between location and entry mode, whereas it is not found that industrial cluster is specific to any one location. The generalized model has implications for the theoretical and managerial perspectives of both the host and the home countries. 相似文献

The key purpose of this paper is to bridge a research gap in shopping mall literature by investigating the relationship between store loyalty and shopping mall loyalty. The paper also examines the effects of perceived store value and store relationship commitment on store loyalty en-route to loyalty towards the shopping mall hosting the stores. The study shows that store loyalty influences shopping mall loyalty under certain conditions and that such an influence is moderated by the geographic distance between the consumer and the shopping mall. Further, the study found that distance has a moderating effect on the relationship between perceived store value and store loyalty, but not on the association between relationship commitment and store loyalty. The insights provided by this study offer academics, retailers and shopping mall managers a richer understanding of the relationships between store loyalty and its antecedents, customers' distance from the mall, and shopping mall loyalty. 相似文献

城乡一体化背景下耕地社会保障价值研究——以安徽省怀宁县为例 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
当下农村改革不断深化,农村经济社会面貌迅速变化,城乡一体化引领农村发展进入新阶段。为阐明当前农村地区耕地社会保障现状和发展趋势,本文采用条件价值评估法(CVM)在安徽省怀宁县进行了耕地社会保障价值研究。在条件价值评估法下,利用二项回归模型分析了影响受访者受偿意愿的相关因素,结果表明:受访者年龄、家庭年收入与受偿意愿呈负相关;家庭收入来源、农地流转期限、新农保养老金发放级别与受偿意愿呈正相关;同时测算出怀宁县耕地资源社会保障总价值为9.91亿元,占当地2014年国民生产总值的5.68%,单位面积耕地社会保障价值为1 141.67元/667m~2,占当地征地统一年产值的71.95%。通过与他人相关研究对比分析,结论认为目前耕地在中部地区农村社会保障体系中仍承担着基础性作用,但随着城乡一体化趋势的不断增强,耕地社会保障地位正在弱化,农村社会保障多元化发展趋势明显。 相似文献
