The Structuring of Interfirm Exchanges in Business Know-How: Evidence from International Collaborative Ventures

This study investigates the effect of transaction cost considerations on the apportionment of residual bearing, and the assignment of managerial control between two firms involved in the exchange of business know-how. Data were collected from contractual agreements between multinational enterprises and indigenous firms that formed collaborative ventures in developing countries. A simultaneous-equation model was employed to test hypotheses that were derived under a theoretical framework based on the new institutional economics. The empirical results are supportive of the hypotheses. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.     

农业企业外部融资困境与路径分析

劳动力市场分割及金融危机的发生限制了农村劳动力异地转移就业的顺利实现,而随着乡镇企业资本替代劳动的比率持续下降、农民工返乡创办企业大量出现并逐渐成为乡镇企业的重要组成部分,本地非农就业将成为农村劳动力新的选择。本文在分析乡镇企业信贷资本与农村劳动力非农就业间的相关性、企业创建及运营过程中信贷缺失问题的基础上,提出应通过调整信贷结构、对农民工进行相关培训来解决融资难问题,促进资本与农村劳动力的有效结合,进而实现农村劳动力本地非农就业。     

基于管理视角的企业内部控制评价系统模式

只有合理构建并正确应用内部控制评价系统,才能不断地促进企业内部控制体系的有效实施与持续改进。与以往基于会计审计视角、集中于单一方面的研究不同,本文将基于管理的视角,借鉴业绩评价理论成果,并整合现有的国内外内部控制评价相关标准,构建一套具有普遍指导意义且满足我国企业管理层需要的内部控制评价系统模式,从而为我国企业内部控制的有效实施和持续改进提供切实可行的操作指南。     

Estimation of Housing Price Jump Risks and Their Impact on the Valuation of Mortgage Insurance Contracts

Housing price jump risk and the subprime crisis have drawn more attention to the precise estimation of mortgage insurance premiums. This study derives the pricing formula for mortgage insurance premiums by assuming that the housing price process follows the jump diffusion process, capturing important characteristics of abnormal shock events. This assumption is consistent with the empirical observation of the U.S. monthly national average new home returns from 1986 to 2008. Furthermore, we investigate the impact of price jump risk on mortgage insurance premiums from shock frequency of the abnormal events, abnormal mean and volatility of jump size, and normal volatility. Empirical results indicate that the abnormal volatility of jump size has the most significant impact on mortgage insurance premiums.     

Evaluation of the impact of the tourism nation promotion project on inbound tourists in Japan: a difference-in-differences approach

This study quantitatively evaluates the impact of the Tourism Nation Promotion Project on tourism demand. Data were obtained from Japan Tourism Agency’s quarterly survey from 2010Q2 to 2015Q4. Cox and zero-truncated negative binomial models and difference-in-differences approach were applied to analyze tourism demand and the project’s impact on inbound tourists’ length of stay and expenditure in Japan. Empirical results showed a positive and significant average treatment effect on length of stay and expenditure for tourists from Australia, China, Russia, and Thailand. These findings indicate that the Japanese government should use differentiated strategies considering different nationalities’ characteristics to attract foreign tourists.

家庭联产承包责任制虽然极大地解放了农村生产力,有力地推动了农业农村经济的发展.但是随着社会主义市场经济体制的逐步确立和传统农业向现代农业的过渡,这种分散经营的小农生产与现代农业对规模经济、产业化经营的要求越来越难以适应.近年来我国各地的实践表明,实行农村土地适度规模经营,对调整农村产业结构、转移农村剩余劳动力、促进农业产业化、加快小城镇建设等都具有重要作用,是实现家庭承包经营责任制与现代农业顺利对接的有效途径,是今后农村改革的方向选择.

从低碳物流的产生背景出发,论述了低碳物流的内涵,并从经济学的外部性视角出发,探讨了低碳物流活动的正、负外部性.为了对物流活动的外部性进行更好的定量分析,引进了外部性绝对大小与相对大小的概念模型,并且以外部性函数来描述以时间和空间为基准的外部性变化趋势,从理论上分析了外部性函数的管理学意义,对未来物流的低碳化发展做出了展望.
