道安与哲罗姆是公元四世纪东西翻译史上的伟大宗教翻译家。以直译与意译作为参照点,对其翻译思想进行了梳理、比较,发现二者表现出极大相通甚至相同之处：一方面,都极力追求直译,主张翻译应返回到原本;另一方面,在翻译实践上运用了意译方法来解决直译无法符合译入语读者接受习惯的问题。这符合由于原语和译入语之间的差异,翻译必须灵活处理的基本原则。这种既宣扬直译又兼顾意译的思想符合辨证的翻译观,其合理部分的充分发展,就是直译和意译的矛盾统一。

＂90后＂大学生的感恩教育是摆在当前德育工作者面前的一项重要课题。通过对＂90后＂大学生感恩教育重要意义的阐述,分析这一群体感恩意识存在的问题及产生的原因,提出开展＂90后＂大学生感恩教育的有效实施途径,从而达到加强＂90后＂大学生感恩教育的目的。     

Asymptotic subadditivity/superadditivity of Value-at-Risk under tail dependence

This paper presents a new method for discussing the asymptotic subadditivity/superadditivity of Value-at-Risk (VaR) for multiple risks. We consider the asymptotic subadditivity and superadditivity properties of VaR for multiple risks whose copula admits a stable tail dependence function (STDF). For the purpose, a marginal region is defined by the marginal distributions of the multiple risks, and a stochastic order named tail concave order is presented for comparing individual tail risks. We prove that asymptotic subadditivity of VaR holds when individual risks are smaller than regularly varying (RV) random variables with index −1 under the tail concave order. We also provide sufficient conditions for VaR being asymptotically superadditive. For two multiple risks sharing the same copula function and satisfying the tail concave order, a comparison result on the asymptotic subadditivity/superadditivity of VaR is given. Asymptotic diversification ratios for RV and log regularly varying (LRV) margins with specific copula structures are obtained. Empirical analysis on financial data is provided for highlighting our results.     

Institutional Monitoring: Evidence from the F‐Score

The extant literature shows that institutional investors engage in corporate governance to enhance a firm's long‐term value. Measuring firm performance using the F‐Score, we examine the persistent monitoring role of institutional investors and identify the financial aspects of a firm that institutional monitoring improves. We find strong evidence that long‐term institutions with large shareholdings consistently improve a firm's F‐Score and that such activity occurs primarily through the enhancement of the firm's operating efficiency. Other institutions reduce a firm's F‐Score. Moreover, we find evidence that, while monitoring institutions improve a firm's financial health, transient (followed by non‐transient) institutions trade on this information.     

Coca-Cola's Acquisition Over Huiyuan Juice

China's Anti-Monopoly Law,the foundation stone of the market economy,started to be implemented since August 1st 2008.After half a year of investigation,.Coca Cola's acquisition of Huiyuan Juice was put to a stop by Ministry of Commerce on March 18th 2009.It became the first abortive case since the implementation of the Anti-Monopoly Law and caused strong repercussions home and abroad.While the nationalists applauded for the decision,overseas media generally took a skeptical attitude,considering it as a case of trade protectionism.This phenomenon requires a rational interpretation and guidance for the domestic and international media.On the one hand,acquisition by foreign capital may bring advanced technology and management experience and promote economic development;on the other hand,it may lead to the monopoly of relevant market,hamper competition and cause some domestic brands to disappear.We should look at Coca Cola's acquisition of Huiyuan Juice from two aspects.     

The 'Parent Shift' program: incentives for nurses, rewards for nursing teams

To create new opportunities for nurses to reenter the workforce, a RN p.r.n. program must meet the needs of nurses who wish to make dual commitments to home and work. The Parent Shift program provides an innovative model of attracting and retaining nurses in a hospital workforce. Many nurses who joined the program were away from the field of nursing for many years and were drawn to the program because of the promise of flexible shifts and minimal requirements for participation. In this study, flexible shifts not only encouraged program entry, they were also a powerful motivator for continued program participation over time. Parent Shift nurse presence was perceived by nurse managers to decrease stressors and improve time efficiency of full-shift staff.
