Sources of time varying return comovements during different economic regimes: evidence from the emerging Indian equity market

We study the economic and non-economic sources of stock return comovements of the emerging Indian equity market and the developed equity markets of the US, UK, Germany, France, Canada and Japan. Our findings show that the probability of extreme comovements in the economic contraction regime is relatively higher than in the economic expansion regime. We show that international interest rates, inflation uncertainty and dividend yields are the main drivers of the asymmetric return comovements. Findings reported in the paper imply that the impact of interest rates and inflation on return comovements could be used for anticipating financial contagion and/or spillover effects. This is particularly critical since during extreme market conditions, the tail return comovements can potentially reveal critical information for active portfolio management.

采购人员的激励问题研究

由于采购企业与其内部的采购人员之问存在着信息的不对称及两者目标的不一致,故二者之间存在着委托代理关系.运用委托代理模型,在考虑采购产品性质、外部随机因素、采购人员成本、采购人员的效用函数等因素的情况下,通过对模型解的分析,给出了影响激励采购员激励强度的各种因素,提出了采购产品的性质等几种不同情况下的激励强度,并针对此提出了一系列具体的激励措施.     

基于风险维度的货币政策传导非对称性研究

现有文献货币政策传导非对称性的研究主要集中于产出维度,文章从风险维度研究不同货币环境下货币政策对微观企业风险传导的非对称性,结果表明:宽松货币环境强化了货币政策风险传导的微观效应,而紧缩货币环境削弱了货币政策风险传导的微观效应。虽然存款准备金率对企业的风险传导效应小于利率,但是在不同货币环境下存款准备金率对企业风险传导的非对称性却强于利率。因此央行在制定货币政策时须根据不同货币环境下微观主体对货币政策的风险敏感度的差异选择合理的货币政策工具及其组合搭配,以免企业在宽松货币环境下的过度风险承担。     

Do online discounts and free gifts damage brand image of service? The moderating role of promotion-proneness

The present paper outlines a study based on an experimental design that investigated the effect of online price discounts and free gifts on consumers’ evaluation of the brand, in the context of an airline. The study also analyzed whether promotion-proneness exercises a moderating effect on this relationship. It was found that discounts generate a more positive brand image than free gifts among promotion-prone users, while for less promotion-prone individuals, the opposite is true. The results will help managers to select the most appropriate online sales promotion type for reaching different consumer groups, depending on their promotion-proneness, in line with the needs and objectives of the service firm.     

Do Institutions Matter for Foreign Direct Investment?

Using a panel of 69 countries during 1981 and 2005, we investigate the role of institutions in determining foreign direct investment (FDI). We find that institutions are a robust predictor of FDI and that the most significant institutional aspects are linked to propriety rights. Using a novel data set, we also study the impact of institutions on FDI at the sectoral level. We find that institutions do not have a significant impact on FDI in the primary sector but that institutional quality matters for FDI in manufacturing, and particularly in services.

快递服务(express service;courier service)是快速收寄、运输、投递单独封装的、有名址的快件或其他不需储存的物品,按承诺时限递送到收件人或指定地点、并获得签收的寄递服务。运输产业是高速发展的新动力产业,从实际意义角度来看,实现交通运输服务活性化,需要对交通运输服务的制度进行改善及对未来的发展做出规划方案。研究通过快递市场的实态及问题来找到快递服务业制度改善方向及发展方案。以管理学的角度进行实证性的研究。     

论我国税收强制执行制度之完善

税收强制执行是税收征管程序中最为严厉的程序,是税收强制性特征最突出的表现,是保证税收得以实现的最后的但是又行之有效的措施,在各国的税收征收法律制度中均有明确的规定。然而税收强制执行直接关系到纳税人的利益,因此在对进行的税收强制执行规定中应当充分考虑国家利益与纳税人利益。我国《税收征管法》中虽然也建立了税收强制执行制度,但是在实践中该制度存在许多困惑,本文试图通过比较研究,探讨税收强制执行制度的进一步完善。
