Recent history regarding the partition or separation of single states is not new. The ramifications caused by these divisions are numerous. All too often, the problems associated with crossing the “new” border, visiting family and friends separated by the newly imposed border, or trying to establish or re‐establish business ties with past acquaintances are overlooked. Once a country is partitioned, there are several levels or stages which the newly partitioned states go through in a “maturing'’ process to build new identities and levels of trust. At the macro level, there are social, economic, and political differences which must be resolved before open dialogues can occur. Often, by allowing family members, in the two or more partitioned states, to visit each other, the governments begin a long process of reconciliation. The fact that travel and tourism is one of the fundamental aspects of this process is significant.  相似文献

本文基于长三角地区2000年-2007年的统计数据,通过对外资引进现状的考察,建立面板数据模型来研究FDI技术外溢效应。实证分析表明,FDI在长三角地区存在显著的正向的技术外溢效应,长三角地区开放的市场环境和自主创新能力对FDI的技术外溢产生了正面影响。此外,具有高等教育水平的人力资本对FDI技术外溢效应的发挥有明显的促进作用,而具有中等教育水平的人力资本的作用较小且不显著。  相似文献

This article reports findings from two surveys conducted in 1987: the first involved over 25,000 television viewers throughout China and the second interviewed more than 1,100 urban residents of Beijing. The surveys measured audience attitudes and behaviour regarding commercial advertising. This is the first time such information based on probability sampling in China has become available to western readers.

The results replicated one of the findings of an earlier study, which was based on a small-scale convenience sample, that Chinese consumers supported the return of advertising. But the support was less enthusiastic than previously thought; public opinion regarding commercial advertising appeared quite reserved and somewhat calculated. The data also suggest that mass advertising, especially television advertising, was an effective marketing tool, and that Chinese consumers paid more attention to the informational content than the entertainment features of the advertisements.

In conclusion, the authors argue that Chinese consumers were probably more sophisticated than they were given credit for.  相似文献

The effect of humorous advertisement on memory and attitude has been an important topic among advertising scholars. However, scholars have used fake brands to test the effects of humor. Since the possibility for consumers to be exposed to the commercial for a completely new brand is very low, using a fake brand to test humor effects is not realistic. Hence, this study examined the role of brand familiarity on the effects of humor on memory and attitude by using existing brands in a laboratory experiment. This study suggests a different structural model for familiar and unfamiliar brands based on the previous studies in consumer behavior. Results revealed different effects of humorous advertisements for the familiar or unfamiliar brands. The structural model proposed for this study revealed a mediating role of brand familiarity on humor effects. Humorous ads worked better for the unfamiliar brands. For the familiar brands, the effects were mediated by the subjects’ brand familiarity and prior brand attitude.  相似文献

The main determinants of foreign direct investment in China are analyzed quantitatively and dynamically based on Dunning's eclectic theory and empirical models corresponding to location-specific advantages, ownership-specific advantages and internalization advantage. More specifically, the correlation between each OLI variable and FDI is tested and explained in detail. It is concluded that monopolistic advantages of technology and management experience of foreign investors along with China's low labor cost and great market potential might be important factors attracting FDI in China. In addition, using an internal market to establish a network of international production might also be an important determinant for foreigners to directly invest in China. Others might include searching for attractive yields available in equity investment, devaluation of the Chinese currency, distance, culture and global business strategies.  相似文献

交易关系治理机制是日本企业20世纪70~80年代在全球竞争中脱颖而出的重要因素之一。本文对关系治理的相关文献进行了综述,并论证了日本汽车产业内垂直交易关系治理的特点和筹供策略变革。本文还从关系治理的角度对日本汽车企业的筹供策略变革进行了分析,认为日本汽车产业内垂直交易的强关系治理在一定程度上阻碍了企业对创新知识和能力的获取,且关系治理在应对经济增长放缓的环境变动方面具有负面影响,这也显示了日本企业间交易的关系治理机制的局限性。在以上论述的基础上,本文最后简要归纳相关决策建议。  相似文献

This paper attempts to study the optimal dividend barrier strategy in risk analysis of an insurance company under stochastic discount interest. Based on stochastic perturbation methodology, we first describe the random of interest by Wiener Process and Poisson process and yield some theoretical results satisfied by optimal dividend barrier. In the case of an exponential individual claim distribution, a group of barrier values are obtained. Meanwhile we also discuss the effect of stochastic interest on the barrier by data analysis and direct interpretations about interest models. It is found that the barrier is more sensitive to constant interest force than other parameters in interest model and the effect of diffusion coefficient on barrier is less sensitive than that of Poisson coefficient. These all provide insights into the effect of stochastic interest on the optimal barrier, and show the importance of introducing stochastic interest. Finally, we propose several meaningful and follow-up problems, for example, changing the criterion of finding the optimal barrier and discussing under more extended risk models.  相似文献
