A bootstrap test for jumps in financial economics

An i.i.d. bootstrap is applied for the ratio test of Barndorff-Nielsen and Shephard (2006) for jumps in jump diffusion processes. Asymptotic validity is established for the bootstrap test both under the null of no jump and under the alternative of jumps. Finite sample simulation shows that the bootstrap test has more stable size than the ratio test of Barndorff-Nielsen and Shephard (2006).     

The Moderating Impact of Family Role Configurations

This study examines the impact of across domain social support, work-family conflict (WFC) and job satisfaction, and explores the influence of family role allocations among these relationships. Family roles include breadwinner and caregiver. Direct effects were found for two types of support and both WFC and job satisfaction. Additionally, results provided some evidence that family roles moderated the support-outcome relationship, particularly for caregivers. The research and practical implications, as well as limitations of this study are discussed.     

法式长棍面包酵头发酵技术探析

本文就普通法式长棍面包、酵头及酵头法式长棍面包制作技术进行研究,并从外观、切面组织状态及口感等方面对面包成品比较分析,得出酵头面包无论是从外观状态、内部组织及口感等都与普通法式面包有很大的区别,有独特的优势。酵头法制作的法式长棍面包将成为该种面包的发展方向。     

The Role of Financial Ratios in the Variance of Stock Trading Volume in Emerging Stock Markets

The study used quarterly panel data of 6 years from 2010 to 2015 of all companies listed on both Vietnamese stock markets including the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange and Ha Noi Stock Exchange, and on three leading industries consisting of insurance-banking, foodstuff, and real estate to explore the relationship among four key financial ratios and stock trading volume. Two models, fixed effects model (FEM) and random effects model (REM), with robust standard errors, were applied for this study. The key findings showed that earnings before tax on sales, debt on owner’s equity, and owner’s equity on total assets significantly influenced trading volume.     

对驰名商标“异化”的另一种认识

驰名商标的异化不仅指认定过程中的反常现象,还包括使用过程中的反常现象。用另一种眼光看,驰名商标的异化并非总是有害的,它还有促进商标法制建设、推动品牌的创造及其价值的发挥、营造良好的品牌文化等积极功能。因此,对驰名商标的异化现象应当区别对待,容忍具有较强正当性的异化现象,对于危害较大的异化现象则应采取多种措施予以消除。     

保险公司诉讼与诉讼预期相关性研究

近年来我国保险诉讼案件增势不减,有的历经一审、二审,有的还要再审。从媒体披露的结果看,保险公司无论作为原告还是被告,似乎都是胜少败多。本文通过对北京某人寿保险股份有限公司2005年～2008年诉讼、诉讼预期数据的实证调研,探讨保险公司诉讼预期是否实现及实现程度,在此基础上提出更理性、更具可操作性的建议。
