基于主成分分析的新疆石油天然气产业竞争力评价

文章从产业分析的视角,结合石油天然气产业自身的特点,构建了一套石油天然气产业竞争力评价指标体系,进而应用主成分分析法对新疆石油天然气产业竞争力进行定量分析,确定其在我国石油天然气产业中的竞争地位以及自身发展中存在的优势和不足。最后,文章对提升新疆石油天然气产业竞争力提出相应的对策：延伸产业链,推动上下游一体化发展;依托资源优势,培育和发展相关产业;增强技术创新能力,加快科研成果产业化。     

The momentum effect on Chinese real estate stocks: Evidence from firm performance levels

This paper investigates the momentum effects under different firm performance levels for Chinese real estate stocks using quantile regression with a dummy variable estimator. This paper finds that regardless of the momentum horizon, the momentum effects are positive under high-performing individual stocks, but they are negative under low-performing individual stocks. While prior literature only finds that this asymmetric phenomenon appears under different market states, and the findings on different horizons are inconsistent. Furthermore, this paper finds that the positive (negative) momentum effect under high (low) firm performance levels is stronger than that under bullish (bearish) markets. This implies that superior (inferior) fundamental business performance and bullish (bearish) markets can cause the stock prices to go up (down); however, the effect of the former is stronger than that of the latter. Moreover, this paper finds that the relation between future returns and past turnover ratios is positively correlated under high-performing stocks, but negatively correlated under low-performing stocks. Based on the above findings, this paper regards past turnover ratios as a leading indicator of stock returns and suggests two profitable investment portfolios which are superior to the average returns of real estate stocks.     

Does delaying service-failure resolution ever make sense?

Conventional wisdom suggests that service providers should respond to their failures as quickly as possible. Some research, however, points out that delaying resolutions may produce highly desirable results. The study here investigates these competing views by examining under which conditions an immediate or a delaying resolution produces more positive consumer responses in term of re-patronage and negative word-of-mouth intentions. Based on the concept of service separation, this research identifies an interaction effect between service separation (separated service, non-separated service) and response timing (immediate response, delaying response) on consumers' post-consumption intention. This research also finds that the relationship between service separation-response timing interaction and consumer response is mediated by consumers' negative emotions. This study contributes to refining our understanding of consumer psychology in service recovery. Practically, the studies also enable service providers to better allocate their resources to recover different types of services' failure.     

立领结构设计方法浅析

本论文运用服装结构设计相关知识,在介绍并分析立领在上口线围度未设定的情况下的常规结构设计方法的基础上,提出立领在上口线围度设定情况下的结构设计新方法。运用新方法设计的立领,不但更符合当代人们的穿着习惯与审美情趣,而且拥有更高的结构制图准确性和更强的可操作性。     

CEO's financial experience and earnings management

We study whether Chinese CEOs with financial experience engage in more earnings management or less earnings management than those without such experience. In doing so, we distinguish between accrual-based earnings management and real earnings management. Overall, we find that CEOs with financial experience tend to do less real earnings management, while we find no evidence that they do either more or less accrual-based earnings management. Our findings tend to confirm that CEOs with financial experience provide more precise earnings information and higher quality financial statements.
