含硼聚硅铝的形貌结构研究

向聚硅酸中引入Al3+、B,制得稳定性更好的高效絮凝剂含硼聚硅铝(PASB)。用电子显微镜观察分析了PASB的形貌,用红外光谱和X-射线研究了其中B、铝离子及其水解产物与聚硅酸的相互作用情况,并对其电学特征进行了考察。结果表明B、铝离子及其水解产物和聚硅酸等多种组分之间有相互作用,形成了尺度更大的聚集单元。PASB的这种特殊结构是其具有良好稳定性和混凝性能的根本原因。     

Individual efficiency and club performance: a panel analysis of professional baseball

This paper investigates whether players' individual‐ and club‐level efficiency has substantial impact on club performance in the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL). Using data from 1990 to 2000, and a stochastic frontier model, we propose a different way to measure club‐level efficiency. Our empirical results indicate that club‐level efficiency is crucial to club performance, measured by the winning percentage. Although the literature shows that some inefficient clubs with abundant resources are still very successful on the diamond, our results confirm that club‐level efficiency has a moderate impact on the success of a baseball club in the CPBL. 本文依次考察了中国氏族社会后期以来4 000多年市场关系的发展所经历的商品货币关系、商品经济与市场经济三个阶段,以及各个阶段中市场关系诸要素的演变过程与特征,证明它们在不断地向前发展;市场具有为自己扫除前进障碍的内在力量;市场经济向前发展是不以人的意志为转移的历史规律;中国今天的市场经济是经济运行4 000多年的必然结局.     

THE INTERNALISATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL EXTERNALITIES AFFECTING DWELLINGS: A REVIEW OF COURT CASES IN HONG KONG

In 1960, Ronald Coase suggested that there are many methods to solve the problem of externalities apart from imposing Pigovian taxes. Internalisation is one of those noted in his classic paper, ‘The Problem of Social Cost’. This paper studies the possibility of residents receiving compensation from pollutant generators. Data collected from Hong Kong law reports over the past 20 years show that there is forty‐fold increase in number of water seepage court cases since the first case in 1994. The total amount of compensation has also increased greatly. There are, however, far fewer court cases where residents seek compensation from generators of noise and air pollution. This may reflect a combination of high transaction costs and low expected benefits from such cases.

商业伦理重要吗?——来自商科学生的数据

商业伦理信念是个体对商业伦理重要性的认知,它会影响商业个体的态度与实践。文章采用PRESOR量表,获得727名南京高校的商科学生样本。结果发现大多数人的商业伦理信念水平较高,约92%的人认为商业伦理对企业生存和长期发展有利;约80%的被试认为企业应该承担社会责任。女生比男生表现出较高的商业伦理信念水平;大一、大二学生的得分均值最高;学生在专业、成长地区、家庭收入、是否有实习经历以及是否为独生子女等人口学变量之间差异不显著。     

Why Does the Law Matter? Investor Protection and Its Effects on Investment,Finance, and Growth

Investor protection is associated with greater investment sensitivity to q and lower investment sensitivity to cash flow. Finance plays a role in causing these effects; in countries with strong investor protection, external finance increases more strongly with q, and declines more strongly with cash flow. We further find that q and cash flow sensitivities are associated with ex post investment efficiency; investment predicts growth and profits more strongly in countries with greater q sensitivities and lower cash flow sensitivities. The paper's findings are broadly consistent with investor protection promoting accurate share prices, reducing financial constraints, and encouraging efficient investment.
