Egalitarian division under Leontief Preferences

We consider the problem of fairly dividing $l$ divisible goods among $n$ agents with the generalized Leontief preferences. We propose and characterize the class of generalized egalitarian rules which satisfy efficiency, group strategy-proofness, anonymity, resource monotonicity, population monotonicity, envy-freeness and consistency. On the Leontief domain, our rules generalize the egalitarian-equivalent rules with reference bundles. We also extend our rules to agent-specific and endowment-specific egalitarian rules. The former is a larger class of rules satisfying all the previous properties except anonymity and envy-freeness. The latter is a class of efficient, group strategy-proof, anonymous and individually rational rules when the resources are assumed to be privately owned.     

Ethical purchasing perceptions and practices of Oklahoma restaurant managers

This study examined ethical business perceptions and practices in purchasing dealings between junior and senior managers in the U.S. restaurants. This study investigated the managerial style in the context of business ethics relative to employees’ loyalty, ethical working behavior, attitude, and decision‐making process of restaurant's food purchasing personnel. Additionally, organizational business ethics training for employees is a crucial component to enhance adherence to an ethical code of conduct. The findings revealed that the managers’ ethical purchasing perceptions and practices of their employees’ behaviors were not different in terms of gender, age, and years of experiences as a manager. Corporate ethical standards and managerial ethical practices can guide managers and employees as to how to behave when confronted with a dilemma with regard to ethics and personal interest. Consequently, the prime principle of management or purchasing personnel in terms of ethical dealings has tremendous impact on a firm's operational performance and employees’ morale.     

Effects of Color in Disaster Relief Advertising and the Mediating Role of Cognitive Elaboration

The current research examined the effects of color format (text only, text with black-and-white photo, text with full-colored photo, and text with color highlighted on the main visual subject) and issue involvement (high versus low) on individuals’ psychological reactions (attitude, feeling of empathy, and intention to help) to disaster relief ad. Two studies were conducted using student and general public samples. Results from both studies indicated ads with photos, especially black-and-white photos, generated more positive attitude, greater feeling of empathy, and stronger intention to participate in charity activities. Higher issue involvement also leads to more positive attitude and stronger behavioral intention. An interaction effect between color format and issues involvement was found in Study 2. The mediating role of cognitive elaboration was also explored.     

甲维盐对锯谷盗成虫的控制作用研究

试验室内测定了甲维盐对主要储粮害虫锯谷盗成虫的触杀作用和种群抑制作用.当浓度为16 μg/cm2,作用时间48h时,甲维盐对锯谷盗成虫的触杀死亡率达100％.甲维盐对锯谷盗的LD5o值为0.6780,毒力回归方程为y=5.6166＋3.6537x.同时,当处理剂量为1mg/kg时,甲维盐对锯谷盗成虫当代和子代种群抑制率均为100％.结果表明,甲维盐对锯谷盗具有很强的触杀作用和胃毒作用.     

汇率传递对中国出口价格的影响——基于向量自回归模型和状态空间模型

就2001年1月～2011年10月间的数据,首先引入五个变量,建立向量自回归(VAR)系统,通过脉冲响应函数和方差分解分析汇率波动对出口价格的影响。其次,引入误差修正模型得到汇率等变量如何由短期波动向长期均衡调整。最后,通过状态空间模型得到汇率在各期的传递系数。结果显示,汇率对出口价格是不完全传递的,人民币名义有效汇率对出口价格的冲击程度很小,滞后期较长,汇率传递系数随时间的变化有下降的趋势。     

承销商声誉对企业IPO机会影响的实证研究

以我国2006-2011年期间的企业IPO申请为样本,研究承销商声誉是否更有助于企业得到IPO机会,发现承销商声誉对公司的IPO机会存在显著影响,承销商声誉越高申请IPO的公司越可能通过股票发行审核委员会（简称发审委）审核。即在中国实行核准制的保荐制制度下,承销商声誉对IPO机会发挥着积极作用。
