公允价值计量在我国银行业应用中存在的问题及对策

2006年2月15日,财政部正式发布了新会计准则体系,从传统的计量到公允价值模式,公允价值计量的运用无论在会计理论界与实务界,还是在会计准则制定者与银行界及监管机构,都引起了激烈的争论。基于这种争论,本文在公允价值计量在我国银行中的应用的基础上,分析其对银行的影响,并在此基础上进行总结并提出对策。

Activity in futures: does underlying market size relate to futures trading volume?

This study investigates the determinants of trading volume in the futures markets and focuses on underlying market characteristics as an explanation for futures trading volume. Four major futures contracts traded on the Sydney Futures Exchange are investigated: the stock price index (SPI); the 90-day bank accepted bill (BAB); the 3-year bond; and the 10-year bond. An important outcome of this study is an identification of the fundamental drivers of trading volume in the futures markets, which have largely gone undocumented in prior research. We find evidence that futures trading volume is related to underlying market characteristics: the size of the Australian superannuation fund investments in equities (for the SPI), short term treasury notes (for the BAB), non-government bonds on issue (for the 3-year contract) and government bonds on issue (for the 10-year contract).     

财政分权与非国有制经济部门的发展

分权是中国改革的重要内容,建立社会主义市场经济体制是中国改革的基本目标之一,而非国有制经济部门的发展则是由计划经济向市场经济转轨的重要表现,于是分权能否促进,以及能够在多大程度上促进非国有制经济的发展就成为一个重要命题。本文基于1994年分税制改革以来的省级面板数据,检验了财政分权与非国有制经济发展之间的关系,发现财政分权对于非国有制经济发展的影响呈现出倒U型曲线的特征,说明分权在一定范围内能够促进非国有制经济部门成长,但过度的分权也会抑制其发展。本文的结果也为理解财政分权影响经济增长的作用机制提供了视角。     

“十三五”期间我国经济——能源——环境系统变量发展预测

本文以动态可计算一般均衡模型为基础,2010年投入产出表延长表为基准数据,对“十三五”期间我国经济--能源--环境系统相关变量进行了预测。分析结果显示：“十三五”期间我国经济将实现新常态下的稳定适宜增长,GDP增速保持在65%左右,产业结构进一步优化,第三产业比重明显上升,第二产业明显下降。由于经济增长的原因,能源消费总量与碳排放总量依然较高,但能源消费结构进一步优化,碳排放强度明显降低,节能减排的形势依然比较严峻。     

Investor Confidence as a Determinant of China's Urban Housing Market Dynamics

China's urban housing market dynamics suggest that evolving investor confidence may be a relevant demand shifter. Such investors are continually updating their beliefs about the state of the macroeconomy and the policy uncertainty related to national and local housing policies. We build a 35 Chinese city real estate confidence index that varies over time and across cities. This index predicts subsequent house price appreciation and new housing sales. We document evidence of heterogeneous effects of investor confidence depending on a city's demographics and the city's elasticity of housing supply. Our results based on a new household‐level expectations survey bolster the case that investor expectations are an important determinant of real estate price dynamics.     

Explaining momentum profits with an epidemic diffusion model

We show that information diffusion is a function of its dissemination and assimilation. Whereas dissemniation is a function of observable factors such as volume and price volatility, assimilation is dependent on unobservable factors such as the usefulness and reliability of information. We find that buying low volume (or low volatility) past losers and shortselling low volume (or low volatility) past winners generates a positive net return across the entire sample period and especially during bear markets. Second, buying high volatility past winners and shortselling high volatility past losers generates a positive net return, especially during bear markets.
