Guanxi,political connections and resource acquisition in Chinese publicly listed private sector firms

In this study, we examined the role of guanxi as entrepreneurs’ resource-obtaining mechanism in private sector firms, using a data-set of 184 publicly listed firms in China. We found that guanxi indeed played a positive role that helped private sector firms gain easier access to resources. We also found that guanxi exerted even a greater positive effect on private sector firms’ resource obtaining compared to entrepreneurs’ political participation, due to being the lifeblood of business conduct and social interaction in Chinese culture.

和发达国家不同的是,对于评级机构,我国面临的不仅仅是监管与规范的问题,还有一个发展的问题。在监管中使用评级结果必须是在确保评级质量的前提下由点到面逐步推开。首先,明确评级机构获得监管当局认可的条件。其次,建立对评级机构资格评估以及动态监管的正式程序。最后,完善退出机制。     

Online Survey Data Quality and Its Implication for Willingness‐to‐Pay: A Cross‐Country Comparison

Using online surveys to elicit consumer preference is gaining popularity because of several advantages offered by this method. Past research mainly focuses on the comparison between online surveys and other survey modes. Few have explored methods of using online survey tools to improve data quality for consumer willingness‐to‐pay (WTP) estimates. This article determines the impact of using a validation question (VQ) approach that asked survey respondents to select a particular answer on improving online survey data quality across six countries. Results show that survey data quality is a common problem in online surveys across countries and the severity of this problem differs significantly. Using VQs might detect the respondents who are less careful in answering survey questions, thus providing less reliable answers. The econometric models for respondents who correctly answer VQs (pass VQs) perform significantly better than the models for respondents who incorrectly answer VQs (fail VQs). The WTP estimates for respondents who pass and fail VQs differ significantly; and in general the WTP estimates for respondents passing VQs have smaller variances than those for all respondents and for respondents failing VQs.

基于合同能源管理项目的资产证券化分析

我国EPC项目融资难的原因之一是节能服务企业信用水平不足。资产证券化可以实现项目信用与企业信用分离,是一种值得探索的融资模式。本文尝试设计了基于EPC项目证券化融资的交易结构和交易流程,讨论了基于EPC项目进行证券化融资的要点。     

银行业与证券业间风险外溢效应研究——基于CoVaR模型的分析

此次金融危机表明,混业经营领域是金融风险管理或监管的重点领域,也是金融风险监管的难点.混业经营不可避免地使得不同金融行业存在的潜在风险交叉传染.风险价值(VaR)模型很难捕获金融市场之间的风险的传递,从而在测量市场极端情形时存在较多弊病,容易导致金融市场风险水平低估;而CoVaR很好地弥补了这个缺陷.本文通过分位数回归方法,将CoVaR方法应用于测量单个金融市场所发生的极端风险对其他金融市场风险外溢的方向和大小.结合模型结果,我们得出结论,CoVaR方法可以有效地计量行业之间或金融机构之间的风险外溢效应,并有利于金融集团或金融监管当局及时有效地跟踪行业内(或集团内)系统性风险的变化.     

人民币汇率波动对我国出口价格传递效应分析

汇率传递效应不仅影响国内总需求与总供给的均衡．而且还会影响国内货币政策实施的有效性。人民币汇率变动对我国进口价格及其他价格水平的传递程度是决定汇率调节我国贸易收支以及稳定国内物价水平的一个关键因素。本文的目的在于运用协整等方法分析人民币汇率变动对我国出口价格水平的影响,研究结果表明：无论长期内还是短期内,进出口价格对汇率波动的反应都较为敏感,不完全汇率的传递广泛存在于中国的出口企业。     

人民币国际化之货币互换路径分析

货币互换作为央行间共同应对金融危机、维护金融稳定、促进双边贸易和投资的手段已经在实际中为我国和国外主要央行所实践,并且在应对金融危机、向国际金融市场提供国际货币流动性、维护金融稳定等方面发挥了显著的作用.本文通过对国外央行以及中国人民银行货币互换实践的介绍,提出:应在传统的互换作用机制的基础上,通过人民币与境外其他币种的互换,推动人民币走出去,在具体操作层面实现对人民币国际化的助推作用.从这一观点出发,文章重点对现阶段以货币互换形式推动人民币国际化的难点、策略选择以及相应的风险控制进行探讨.     

Destination Image of Taiwan From the Perspective of Hong Kong Residents: Revisiting Structural Relationships Between Destination Image Attributes and Behavioral Intention

Destination image plays an important role in how tourists make their travel and purchase decisions. This study examines the perceived image of Taiwan as a travel destination from the perspective of Hong Kong residents. The Hong Kong outbound tourism market is important for Taiwan. Using a self-completed questionnaire, this research examines the destination image of Taiwan among 213 Hong Kong residents. The results indicate that affective image is a stronger predictor of travel intention than cognitive image. Affective image also plays a mediating role in the relationship between cognitive image and behavioral intention. Hence, affective image is an important intangible quality for today’s destinations.     

去库存及建筑总量控制政策对三四线城市能源消耗的影响效应研究

近十年来房地产开发迅猛,在满足人们居住需求的同时也伴随着大量泡沫的涌现。中央提出的供给侧改革、去库存和能效提升给建筑部门指明了发展方向,有效地实施供给侧改革是建筑部门一项重要工作。拟通过开展去库存及建筑总量控制对三四线城市能源消耗的影响研究,为建筑部门的供给侧改革提供建议和参考。站在建筑部门宏观视角,通过文献调查,分析总结了建筑终端能耗影响因素及其影响效应,梳理了中国建筑总量、库存量及建筑领域能源消耗量总体情况,论述了三四线城市去库存、进行建筑总量控制的重要性;在此基础上,根据分析结果、三四线城市特点及数据可获得性,选定自变量和因变量及量化指标,运用岭回归方法,以6个城市的数据为例进行三四线城市建筑总量控制、去库存政策对城市能耗影响效果的定量分析;最后基于彼此间关系及研究过程中发现的问题对建筑部门的供给侧改革工作提出建议。
