The development of the group accounts disclosure system in Japan

The Japanese disclosure system of consolidated statements was introduced in 1977 and extensively revised in 1997. The role of the bureaucracy has been significant in these developments and seems to be part of Japan's closed culture. However, other explanations could also be applied. In particular, although Japanese firms opposed such disclosures on the basis of preparation costs, the Japanese government had to modernize the disclosure system, including consolidation, in order to develop the securities market regardless of an individual company's interests.     

Glamour and Value Strategies on the Tokyo Stock Exchange

This paper evaluates the performance of glamour and value strategies and tests the extrapolation model for the Japanese equity market. In general, value stocks outperform glamour stocks by between 6 and 12 percent per annum for the five years after portfolio formation. Evidence from past, future and expected growth provides strong support for the story developed in Lakonishok, Shleifer and Vishny (1994). It is difficult to attribute the value premia to the difference, if any, in risk factors. In addition, the book-to-market premium is much closer to an arbitrage opportunity than the size premium.     

庙宇平坝防洪治理方案研究

庙宇平坝地处大溪河右岸支流庙宇沟上游山间盆地内,仅靠一条人工开凿的排洪洞和天然消坑排泄洪水,过流能力不足致使每年都遭受洪涝灾害。根据庙宇平坝地形条件及防洪现状,复核现有排洪设施泄流能力,分析存在的问题,结合庙宇平坝地形条件及区内实际情况,采取整个消水洞的扩建及进口前100 m的河道支护,从而提高泄洪能力,降低庙宇平坝水位,有效减少洪水淹没历时及淹没深度。

三义寨引黄灌区多功能河道清淤船的研制

近年来,受黄河来水量减小及小浪底水库蓄水调沙作用的影响,三义寨渠首闸引水流量较小,导致引渠淤积、渠底抬高,造成灌区引水困难.为此,三义寨闸管处研发了多功能河道清淤船,该船由行走系统、起重架系统和吸沙排沙系统三部分构成,船体吃水深度为0.6m,吸沙能力为0.75 ～ 1.0 t/min,清淤深度为1.5～1.6m.生产实践表明,它可满足三义寨引渠的清淤作业,与租用机械清淤对比,多功能清淤船的经济效益显著.
