吉林省农村经济发展中的金融约束分析

金融作为现代经济的核心,是经济发展的重要推动力量。在当前建设社会主义新农村过程中,农村金融肩负着重要的历史使命,但是吉林省目前农村金融体系的制度性缺陷,直接融资渠道匮乏,非正规金融的先天不足,已经成为吉林省农村经济发展中的制约因素。     

ISO 14001 and the Reduction of Toxic Emissions

ISO 14001 is an international standard for Environmental Management Systems, adopted by over 36,000 organizations worldwide. This paper attempts to determine the length of time after which a given company has implemented ISO 14001 experiences emission reduction. The sample used is a group of 264 manufacturing facilities in the USA, which represent 23 percent of all the ISO 14001 certified organizations in the US, analyzed throughout the period from 1996 to 2001. The results show that 75 percent of the companies experienced a reduction in their emissions, among which 53 percent had already done so just one year after obtaining ISO 14001.

本文实证分析了外国直接投资对我国税收的正负影响.结论认为,虽然外国直接投资极大地促进了我国税收的增长,但给予外资较高程度的税收优惠也在一定程度上侵蚀了我国的税基,减少了我国的税收收入.由于税收优惠并非吸引外资的显著因素,有必要分步骤地进行现有税收制度改革,最终统一内外资企业的税收制度.     

人力资源开发角色的ASTD模型及其意义

对人力资源开发角色的分析是人力资源开发职业进入标准化阶段的必须准备,对建立职业规范和职业教育体系有很大作用。美国培训与开发协会提出的人力资源开发角色研究模型是该领域最重要的研究成果,本文对这一模型的主要成果进行总结,并说明了当今人力资源开发角色出现的新变化。对人力资源角色的深入系统研究,必将有助于中国企业人力资源开发规范化、职业化进程,促进人力资源开发这一新兴职业在我国企业的健康发展。     

Measuring DEA efficiency in cable television network facilities: what are appropriate criteria for determining the amounts of governmental subsidies?

Recent technological developments have transformed the cable television industry (CATV) from a simple re-transmitter of terrestrial broadcasting to a provider of a broader-band information infrastructure. With cable operators facing an undesirable market situation while operating a fiber optics network vital to the creation of an information-based society within Japan, the Japanese Government has introduced several supportive measures for the industry. Such governmental intervention should desirably be justified not only from a political viewpoint but also from an economic one; otherwise such measures may distort economic efficiency. In this article, using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), the authors identify the deficiencies of an accounting-based intervention scheme and propose an alternative framework with no disincentive side effects.     

金融企业规模与效益的相关性分析——基于我国39家上市金融公司的实证研究

近年来，国内金融企业为迎接经济全球化的挑战，纷纷上市。通过实证可发现2007年到2011年上市金融公司的规模呈逐年上升的态势，映射了近年来金融企业热衷于资产扩张的强劲趋势。研究表明，我国上市的金融公司的规模和效益呈轻度负相关。金融企业规模逐年扩大，相对地放松了对与资产相应的收益的要求，其主要的原因是收购和兼并浪潮使资产规模越来越大，政府的扶持和政策的导向使得大型金融机构受到过度保护，以及大型金融企业开始大规模涉足资本市场业务，特别是海外资本市场业务。因此，金融企业需要大力提高经营管理的能力，以规模经济为目标，加强资产负债率的管理，限制高风险业务。     

Importance Performance Competitor Analysis (IPCA): A study of hospitality companies

Although Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) is a popularly used method in many research areas, academics mainly criticise it because of its relative structure and lack of consideration of competitors. In the present study, the author proposes an extended version of IPA, which is called Importance Performance Competitor Analysis (IPCA), to address these shortcomings. The proposed method considers the GAP score, which is obtained by the comparison of an attribute’s importance and the focal company’s performance in the same attribute. Moreover, it uses focal and competing companies’ performance differences score. IPCA offers different strategies for each attribute depending on the quadrant that it is positioned in. Absolute structure and consideration of competitors are the advantages of IPCA. Another characteristic of the IPCA is its simplicity, like IPA, there is no necessity to have advanced level statistical knowledge.

诉讼效率应当使全部的诉讼资源在司法机关之间和诉讼参与人之间得到均衡分配。诉讼效率的物质表现是诉讼资源的配置状况。高昂的诉讼机会成本经常使人们不选择诉讼而选择其他手段;诉讼效率成本是诉讼效率物质体现的种种消费,其收益是定纷止争的结果及定纷止争本身对整个社会秩序带来的效益。探求诉讼效率最佳状态可以转化为解决诉讼边际成本与边际收益如何处在相等点上的问题。     

Double-fortified salt reduces anemia,benefit:cost ratio is modestly favorable

Iron deficiency is very widespread, with adverse consequences for health and cognition. Iron supplementation is not popular for long-term use, and cereal fortification is not feasible where milling occurs locally. Double-fortified salt (DFS: using both iron and iodine) is an alternative. The study undertakes a literature survey to find the effect of DFS on hemoglobin, and then uses a previous algorithm to make calculations for India. The benefit:cost ratio was estimated as 2.4:1 if only the benefits to children and women were included, and between 4:1 and 5:1 if anemia levels for men also decreased. This is just a little lower than the median ratio estimated for iron fortification of cereal staples (6.7:1), for home fortification for children less than two (37:1), and for biofortification – breeding for high iron – of cereals (high, but no exact figure available). Double-fortified salt is therefore a good alternative for improving iron status in populations where fortification of other staple foods does not achieve desired coverage.
