Assessing the disruption and resilience of the agricultural grain supply chain is critical to ensure grain supply and stabilize grain price in the final market. This research proposes a quantitative model to analyze how a grain processor regains robustness when supply is disrupted by a natural disaster upstream, and how this disruption affects grain retailers downstream. Two supply chain recovery methods, contingent sourcing and government aid, are considered for grain processor recovery. The results show that (1) a processor prefers timely full recovery, and (2) government aid as an intervention means is indispensable but cannot fully replace the backup supplier. 相似文献

A warranty distribution network provides aftersales warranty services to customers and resembles a closed-loop supply chain network with specific challenges for reverse flows management like recovery, repair, and reflow of refurbished products. We present here a nonlinear and nonconvex mixed integer programming model for the design of the warranty distribution network of a semiconductor company which is operated by an outsourced third party logistics service provider. The application of the model to the real-life case provides an improved distribution network flow and rearranged warehouse and recovery locations, and resulted in weekly cost savings of 3.4% for the considered item. 相似文献

A mathematical model is developed for integrated flow planning in forward and after-sales supply chains of a company supplying repairable product-warranty packages to markets. Ignoring their interactions, these two supply chains are usually planned separately in literature. We consider demand- and supply-side variations in pre- and after-sales demands and qualified outflow of the SCs’ facilities. We show that to neutralize the impact of variations, orders should be amplified by moving from the downstream to the upstream of chains. In the field of option pricing, scholars have been exploring the constant settings of volatility and interest rate ever since the Black-Scholes model was put forward. This research introduces a floating interest rate into the local volatility model, analyzes the model’s pricing effects, and compares them from the aspects of an in-sample pricing error and out-of-sample pricing error respectively using data of CSI (China Securities Index) SH-SZ (Shanghai-Shenzhen) 300 stock index options. The empirical results show that the Surface Stochastic Volatility Inspire model is better than the Stochastic Volatility Inspire model. 相似文献

We model a supply chain consisting of a national brand manufacturer and an independent manufacturer, both of whom are potential suppliers of store brand to a single retailer. The retailer serves two customer segments—a quality sensitive segment (high type) and a price sensitive (low type) segment. The retailer serves these two segments by targeting the national and store brands to the quality and price sensitive segments, respectively. When the national brand manufacturer supplies the store brand he internalizes the effect of store brand quality on the national brand's retail prices. This leads the national brand manufacturer to choose a lower store brand quality than the independent manufacturer. This decrease in store brand quality has the benefit of increased revenues from the high type customers along with an associated cost of decreased revenues from the low type customers. Thus, when the benefit outweighs the cost the retailer chooses the national brand manufacturer to supply the store brand. We show that the retailer will choose the national brand manufacturer to supply the store brand when (a) the size of the high type customer segment is large relative to the low type customer segment, (b) the valuations of the high type customer segment is large relative to the low type customer segment, and (c) the retailer's margin requirement on the store brand is not very high. Overall, these results suggest that retailers who serve a bigger sized quality (price) sensitive clientele would have the national brand (independent) manufacturer supply the store brand. 相似文献

本文以货币政策传导机制理论为基础,通过构建面板模型,对货币政策的区域效应进行定量分析,研究结果表明,中国货币政策存在明显的区域效应差异。从贷款投放对经济增长的刺激作用来看,中部、东北和东部地区省份的效果比较明显,而西部地区的效果较差。对于资本投入相对不足的西部地区,要加快实施西部大开发战略、调整区域经济结构、推动产业转移;对于资本积累充足的东部地区,要提高资本的边际产出率,提高经济效率。 相似文献

ABSTRACT Supply chain management is an accepted concept involving a process-oriented, integrated approach to procuring, producing, and delivering products and services to customers. The boom in applying Internet-based applications is driven by corporate desires to use wireless access, extranets, Internet-based EDI, e-marketplaces, web services and other remote networks for supply chain activities. This paper reports the findings of a study that aims to examine perceived risks of e-commerce in supply chain activities. The conceptual model developed from previous research identifies four types of risks, namely technological, organizational, implementation, and relational risks. The model is tested via in-depth multiple case studies in seven firms from a cross-section of different industries who applied e-technologies in their supply chain activities. The findings highlight factors that contribute to risks and the related undesirable consequences that the firms experienced. 相似文献
