浅析区域产业可持续发展的影响因素

区域经济的持久竞争力来自于其经济社会可持续发展能力的提升,而经济社会持续发展能力在很大程度上取决于产业的可持续发展能力。区域产业可持续发展涉及到区域的资源禀赋、技术进步和制度创新等诸多因素,而且这些因素之间存在互动关系。     

对外贸易、收入分配与区域差距--对中国区域经济差距的贸易成因分析

国际贸易理论揭示了贸易影响收入分配的机制，但对于收入分配的区域效应则存在广泛的争议。本文通过对中国区域经济差距的结构分析，探讨贸易扩张与中国区域经济差距演化的结构关联机制，进而对我国区域经济差异扩大的贸易成因做出解释与判断。     

Equity market integration in Latin America: A time-varying integration score analysis

We develop a measure of market integration score by extending the methodology of Akdogan [J. Portf. Manage. (1996) 33; J. Portf. Manage. (1997) 82] to reflect the degree of integration of domestic equity markets with other markets in and beyond the region. We empirically estimate the integration scores for a sample of six Latin American markets between January 1988 and December 2001. We find a trend towards increased regional integration relative to global integration until the mid-1990s. A distinct change in trend is noted during the second half of the 1990s, with global integration proceeding faster than regional integration.     

Market presence, contestability, and the terms-of-trade effects of regional integration

This paper examines the impact of market presence and contestability on the price behavior of US exporters in Brazil’s market when MERCOSUR and MFN trade liberalization take place. Using detailed panel data on trade and tariff rates, we find that both the preferred supplier’s market presence and threat of entry lower (raise) the US price reaction to MFN (preferential) trade liberalization, with similar quantitative effects. Thus, presence in, or threat of entry into, partners’ markets implies lower optimal MFN tariffs, and regional agreements can have pro-competitive effects in contestable markets. We also examine the ‘symmetry’ hypothesis between the effect of tariffs and exchange rates.     

Trade Unions in Local and Regional Development and Governance: The Northern Trades Union Congress in North East England

From a position of relative isolation, trade unions have become increasingly important agents in local and regional development and governance in the UK since the election of the New Labour government in 1997. Analysis of the experience of the Northern Trades Union Congress (NTUC) suggests that devolution and regionalisation are exerting increasing pressures upon trade union federations to adopt a multi-level approach to organisation across a range of scales—local, sub-regional, regional, sub-national, national and international—to connect with the evolving multi-layered governance structures of the UK political economy. Strategic multi-level organisation suggests the decentralisation of power, authority and resources within the labour movement—challenging the national and centralised legacy of its collective bargaining history—and a division of labour and set of priorities at the different scales to build the links between local and regional engagement and trade union renewal.     

我国区域经济发展差距的金融成因分析

改革开放特别是上世纪90年代以来,我国经济在飞速发展的同时,区域经济发展的差距也在不断扩大,最明显的表征就是东、中、西三大地区经济发展差距的扩大。这种差距的扩大是地理区位、历史、政府政策、金融支持、产业结构等多方面因素综合作用的结果。本文试图从区域金融的角度对我国地区经济发展差距扩大化问题进行探讨,进而提出加快中西部地区金融发展的相关策略。     

战后日本区域开发与法律支撑体系

战后的日本区域开发由政府主导,并建立了一套法律支撑体系。日本的区域开发战略经历了多个阶段的演化,但整体而言其区域开发政策遵循着公平优先于效率的原则,对欠发达地区的经济发展起到了极大的推动作用。但是,当日本经济进入长期萧条后,基于公平原则的均衡发展政策便凸显出资源配置非效率性的弊端,相关的法律支撑体系也面临着调整与转换。     

外商直接投资对我国区域技术创新能力提升影响的分析

本文利用我国2001年和2005年的数据分析了FDI对我国区域技术创新能力提升的影响,发现FDI对中国区域技术创新能力提升的影响程度与技术本身所属的原创层次、技术含量、对企业的重要程度及当地企业的吸收能力相关。笔者分析了其原因,并探讨了相应的对策建议。     

我国农产品出口结构与竞争力的实证分析

我国农产品出口已经进入新的快速增长阶段。本文系统分析了农产品出口的商品结构、地区结构、市场结构以及出口经营主体结构的特征与变化,并用显示比较优势指数(RCA)、贸易竞争力指数(TC)以及国际市场份额等评价了我国农产品出口的国际竞争力,实证分析显示农产品出口贸易结构总体反映了我国农业资源的禀赋和比较优势特征,主要集中在具有竞争优势的劳动密集型农产品,但与农产品出口大国相比,整体竞争力弱,处于低竞争劣势,部分劳动密集型农产品具有国际竞争力。     

中国农业装备水平区域性影响因素的实证研究

本文针对我国农业装备水平区域性特征，建立截面和面板数据模型，对影响农业装备水平地区差异的主要因素进行了实证研究。结果表明，经济发展水平对农业装备水平的影响程度最大，土地经营规模次之，再次为种植结构。各地农业装备自然增长率的大小还与自然地理条件和农业结构有较大关系。
