With significant favourable natural resources, New Zealand has excellent growing conditions for certain exotic conifer species. Although these species have been used for erosion control, and commercial and shelter/amenity plantings for many decades, they do have a high propensity to spread into undesirable locations around the country through natural means. These wilding conifers have become pests. Over the years, these pests have been controlled by landowners, government and community members using various methods, including mechanical and chemical means. Further, new ways of control have also been proposed, including the use of fire, genetics and other technologies. In this paper we examine survey and follow-up focus group data to understand public acceptance of these control methods. Overall, mechanical and selective chemical means were most accepted, while widespread chemical spraying and novel or alternative methods were less acceptable. The survey results and focus group discussions highlight the local, contextual nature of the challenges and opportunities.  相似文献

Rapid technology development has greatly changed the hotel structure in operation or customer relationship management. Most previous studies simply employed either the technology readiness index (TRI) or considered the technology acceptance model (TAM) to predict consumer behavior from the perceptions of consumers. Nonetheless, only limited studies, if ever any, integrated technology readiness (TR) into technology acceptance model in hospitality. Hence, to bridge the aforementioned research gap, the purpose of the present study is to advance and modify TAM by proposing a new research framework which integrates TR into TAM. Online questionnaire survey was conducted with hotel employees through a well-known survey company Qualtrics. Data were then analyzed by structural equation modelling. Findings indicate the direct relationship between technology readiness (TR) and technology acceptance (TA), and reveal the moderating effects of current job position level and hotel work experience on the proposed research framework. This paper presents a theoretical model based on the Technology Acceptance Model combined with a perceived trust model. SPSS 23 and Amos 22 were used to analyze Chinese tourists’ responses regarding use of biometric technology in hotels and to assess whether their perception of trust – measured through five potential factors – affected their intention to use it. Chinese tourists traveling in Macau were recruited, and three types of biological identification technology were discussed. A total of 600 questionnaires were sent out, and 583 effective questionnaires were recovered. The results that in addition to perceived ease of use, other factors affected visitors’ perceptions of trust. The degrees of effectiveness, however, differed between the three biological identification technologies. Fingerprint technology was revealed to be the most trusted and accepted biometric technology.  相似文献

The study reported here examines the relationship between flow experience and repurchase intention by focusing on the joint mediating effects of loyalty. Data were taken from a survey of shopping experiences, at online travel websites, of 325 customers in China. The results show that flow experience has a significant effect on repurchase attention. Moreover, interactive speed, skill, challenge, perceived control, telepresence, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use are positively related to flow experience. Lastly, the findings show that loyalty, to some extent, acts as a mediator between flow experience and repurchase attention.  相似文献

Although how successful hospitality companies create value propositions has received some interest, how and why customers accept value propositions remains largely unknown. Grounded in theory of acceptance and service-dominant logic, this study examined consumers’ psychological mechanism of acceptance of value propositions at different points of exchange, and investigated the impact of value propositions acceptance on customers’ well-being and perceptions of service advantage. Online respondents (N = 180) assessed four hospitality value propositions: innovation, marketing, production, and recovery. Repeated-measures ANOVA and PROCESS Model analyses revealed that customers accepted value propositions cognitively, emotionally, normatively, and behaviorally, positively influencing subjective well-being and perceptions of firm’s service advantage. Service production and recovery value propositions had higher acceptance compared to innovation and marketing. This study is the first to empirically illustrate the complex process of customer value proposition acceptance and the effects on personal and organizational outcomes. Theoretical and practical implications are provided.  相似文献

低丘岗地改造项目验收是检验项目质量的关键,它不仅包含了工程验收也包含了土地自然条件和土地权属等土地管理内容的验收。当前,土地整治缺乏一套具有针对性的,系统的项目验收定量标准。为了完善土地整治项目的理论体系,给低丘岗地改造项目验收实践提供可操作的方法。通过分析、归纳项目验收的内容、方法和层次,运用特尔菲法和层次分析法,建立低丘岗地改造项目验收评价指标体系,并以湖北省两个低丘岗地改造项目为例对项目成果进行验收,并评价项目实施的情况。实验证明该方法能够很好地对项目工程的实施成果进行量化评价,两个项目的各项验收评价指标均达到相应的标准,验收等级为优良。  相似文献

伴随高速经济发展而来的环境恶化、资源耗竭等一系列环境问题,不但降低了当代人的生活水平,而且也削弱了后代人生存发展的能力。环境与经济协调发展的可持续理论,是过度使用环境,遭到环境报复以后,人们对自己的行为进行反思而得出的经验总结。近年来,国内掀起了一波污染密集产业由东部向中西部地区梯度转移的产业转移浪潮。一方面,污染密集产业转移的承接地需要通过承接产业以带动地区经济增长;另一方面,又不得不正视污染密集产业进入带来的环境等负面效应。文章从污染密集产业承接地的角度,基于环境与经济运行的物质平衡系统,结合环境容量约束来分析污染密集产业转移承接地的环境效应,并提出承接地经济与环境协调发展的三条基本路径。  相似文献
