企业财务管理的重要性研究

随着我国经济体制改革的不断深入,企业管理以财务管理为核心,已成为企业家和经济界人士的共识。因为它是通过价值形态对企业资金运动的一项综合性的管理,渗透和贯穿于企业一切经济活动之中。因此,加强财务管理是企业可持续发展的一个关键。     

EVA在企业应用中的思考

国资委于2009年下发了EVA考核办法,为央企考核提供了新的思路。但由于运行时间短,企业没有可参考的模式进行借鉴,在实际运行中出现了一些值得大家商讨的问题。因此,文章针对企业应用中出现的问题,提出了相应的改进措施。     

International Involvement,Target Market Selection,and Consolidated Performance: A Firm-Level Analysis of Taiwan's FDI in China

This paper assesses the sensitivity of consolidated corporate performance to two aspects of foreign direct investment (FDI): international involvement and target market selection. Empirical evidence from China-bound FDI by Taiwan's listed companies between 2000 and 2010 is summarized as follows. First, under the internalization of FDI, performance tends to rise with intensity of FDI activity. Second, profitability appears higher as FDI targets the export market outside China. Third, synergetic performance is created mainly through improved efficiency in resource management rather than increased sales, which indicates effective cost control is crucial for successful FDI in emerging markets such as China.     

The Exchange Rate and Inflation in Argentina: A Classical Critique of Orthodox and Heterodox Policy Prescriptions

In this paper we present an alternative framework to neoclassical theory of international trade and exchange rate determination. Our model, inspired in the classical tradition, provides support for the assertion that an exchange rate policy aiming to improve national competitiveness and to bring about a sustained trade surplus is a viable option. In fact, the success of this strategy does not depend on the effectiveness of monetary sterilization —as many argentinean heterodox authors claim— but on the ability to overcome the boundaries imposed by the evolution of the domestic wage rate and the potential emergence of competitive devaluations. In the particular case of Argentina, the introduction of export taxes on land-intensive commodities, in which the economy has absolute advantages, brings an additional policy tool that can make both the exchange rate target and the workers claims consistent.

Acquisitions: Private versus Public

Takeovers of privately held companies represent more than 80% of all takeovers. Despite their significance, studies of such takeovers and their impact on the wealth of shareholders are rare. Using a very large, near exhaustive, sample of listed and privately held UK targets we examine the impact of such takeovers on the risk adjusted return of listed UK acquirers over the period 1981 to 2001. Acquirers earn significant positive returns during the period surrounding the bid announcement although the gains are dependent on target status, mode of payment, and the relative size of those involved. The much quoted conclusion, derived from the experiences of listed firm bidders that the shareholders of acquiring firms fail to gain from takeovers, cannot be generalised. Acquiring a privately held company is an attractive option for maximising shareholder wealth.     

基于模糊均值聚类和感知机的网络银行客户挖掘

通过结合运用模糊均值聚类和感知机进行网络银行目标营销,首先利用模糊c均值方法(FCM)找出频繁使用网络银行服务的客户,再进一步用这些客户样本对一个多层感知机(MLP)进行训练,最后利用训练好的感知机对银行的非网络银行注册客户进行分类,找出潜在的网上银行服务频繁使用者,银行即可对这些客户进行重点推广网络银行服务。
