In this viewpoint we draw on insights from participatory agri-environmental policy making, spatial planning and collaborative approaches to environmental management. Urban regions are important places of ecosystem service demands and, at the same time, are the primary source of global environmental impacts. Although there is broad agreement on the importance of incorporating the concept of ecosystem services into policy strategies and decision-making, the lack of a standardized approach to quantifying ecosystem services at the landscape scale has hindered progress in this direction. Moreover, tradeoffs between ecosystem services and the supply/demand ratio of ecosystem services in urban landscapes have rarely been investigated. In our paper, we present a method to quantify and map the supply and demand of three essential provisioning services - energy, food, and water - along the rural-urban gradient of the eastern German region Leipzig-Halle. This urban region has experienced significant socio-economic dynamics and land use changes since the German reunification in 1990. The results show that both the demand and the supply of ecosystem services changed considerably during the time span under consideration (1990-2007). We identified an increasing supply/demand ratio of food and water but a decreasing supply/demand ratio of energy. In addition, the pattern of ecosystem demands shows a levelling of rural-urban gradients, reflecting profound modifications of traditional rural-urban relationships. The changes of ecosystem service supply gradients are determined more by land use intensity, such as the intensification of agricultural production, than by land cover changes such as urban sprawl. The comparison of supply/demand ratios and rural-urban patterns of ecosystem services can help decision-makers in landscape management in striving for a sustainable balance between resource supply and demand.  相似文献

珠江三角洲地区是中国改革开放以来经济发展最快的地区之一。伴随经济的发展,其资源存量和环境质量目前面临较大的生态安全风险。本研究以深圳大鹏地区为核心,聚焦深圳、香港、惠州在内的珠江三角洲东部区域生态系统,研究该区域社会、政治、经济、自然资源与环境的广义生态系统的演变,提出创建"大鹏国家级生态共生区"的建议,并分析了其现有基础条件,探讨了创建大鹏生态区需关注的重点领域。该建议以建设资源节约型和环境友好型社会为目标,通过建立一个社会、经济、自然资源可持续发展的广义生态系统的示范,探索经济与资源和生态环境系统和谐统一的发展模式。大鹏生态区的建立,对该地区加强城市环境危机管理和维护其生态系统稳定、安全将起到积极推动作用,并从生态角度提供城市区域发展的创新型模式。  相似文献

在构建以国内大循环为主体、国内国际双循环相互促进的新发展格局下,高效协同的区域创新体系有助于将粤港澳大湾区三地建设成为具有全球影响力的科技创新中心。通过构建创新生态系统综合评价指标体系,采用耦合协调模型和空间计量模型,实证检验大湾区10个城市2007-2019年创新生态系统内部耦合协调水平、时空跃迁特征以及收敛性。研究发现,大湾区整体及各城市耦合协调度呈上升趋势,基本实现从失调衰退区到协调过渡区的转化,具体可划分为4个等级层次;大湾区创新生态系统协调耦合度存在显著的绝对β与条件β收敛趋势,即最终收敛于同一稳态水平,且城市间差距逐渐缩小。其中,经济发展水平、对外交流水平、人力资本水平对创新生态系统协调耦合度起显著正向作用。  相似文献

The technology-driven application of big data is expected to assist policymaking towards sustainable development; however, the relevant literature has not addressed human welfare under climate change, which limits the understanding of climate change impacts on human societies. We present the first application of unique mobile phone network data to evaluate the current nation-wide human welfare of coastal tourism at Japanese beaches and project the value change using the four climate change scenarios. The results show that the projected national economic value loss rates are more significant than the projected national physical beach loss rates. Our findings demonstrate regional differences in recreational values: most southern beaches with larger current values would disappear, while the current small values of the northern beaches would remain. These changes imply that the ranks of the beaches, based on economic values, would enable policymakers to discuss management priorities under climate change.  相似文献

为探索平台生态系统形成、融合及治理机制,从技术创新视角切入,以海尔HOPE平台生态系统和BuiltIn平台生态系统为研究对象,通过多级编码和案例研究,分析技术创新对两个平台生态系统形成及融合过程的作用与影响,并对两个平台生态系统治理机制进行分析。结果发现:①技术互补性、技术溢出效应及技术创新市场需求对平台生态系统形成有促进作用;②技术创新流动促进平台生态系统参与者间联系由单一方向转变为多边方向,从而强化平台生态系统融合;③平台生态系统治理包括合同治理和关系治理两个阶段,技术创新吸引及平台生态系统成员参与感的形成等,能够有效促进平台参与者关系交互和生态系统结构稳定。据此,提出平台生态系统管理启示。  相似文献

Peri-urban landscapes (PULs) are specific transitional forms of urban landscapes undergoing dynamic land-use changes. PULs’ transformations are driven by close and significant influence of an urban core, cross-administrative boundary character, and diversity of governance actors. PULs have significant potential to provide ES and respond to the urban and peri-urban demand for ES, but they are also particular contexts where significant and different ES trade-offs can occur. Majority of existing forms of governance are not able to deal and address such trade-offs, which thus call for more innovative and effective governance approaches and mechanisms, aimed at achieving ES synergies and reducing ES conflicts.This paper discusses the characteristics of PULs in the context of governance questions related to the management of ES trade-offs in the urban peripheries. The drivers of ES trade-offs are presented and different trade-off relationships between and within the main ES types are analyzed. The paper drafts a way forward from the current state-of-the-art related to governance of peri-urban ES trade-offs by providing recommendations for more effective governance that would address these trade-offs. Due to the very dynamic character of PULs, it is difficult to manage land-use changes and ES trade-offs. Hence, the governance approaches need to be adaptive and integrative at multiple levels, while engaging diverse actors to balance ES trade-offs that have mixed urban and rural character.  相似文献

创业生态系统研究逐渐得到学术界重视,但缺乏基于类型学角度的具体探讨,一直处于抽象层面,这一研究现状不利于理论建构。聚焦核心企业主导型创业生态系统构成、核心企业在创业生态系统运行过程中的主导作用,实证研究国内创业生态系统运行机制,以杭州云栖小镇为案例的研究显示:①核心企业基于自身核心能力及网络中心位置,联合各类主体搭建价值网络体系,通过市场化的网络治理机制与跨界开放式创新,协调多主体在创业生态系统不同阶段、不同层次的复杂交互关系,服务于系统中创业企业发展;②在核心企业主导型创业生态系统平台搭建期,通过创业支持机制发挥主导作用。在组织运行期通过资源承诺机制、全链条孵化机制与网络嵌套机制发挥主导作用。在协同获取期,通过资源共享机制、企业协同机制发挥主导作用。  相似文献

平台企业主导的创新生态系统作为一种特殊类型生态系统,是由平台主导企业提供基本创新架构并与其它相关企业及关联机构组成的网络组织,企业间网络关系是创新生态系统的本质特征。基于企业间网络关系分析平台企业主导的创新生态系统网络的成员、联系、结构及功能特征,讨论网络结构变量对平台企业主导的创新生态系统稳定性的影响,以山东省30个平台企业主导的创新生态系统为调研样本,通过问卷调查方式,对所提出的假设进行检验。数据相关分析和回归分析结果表明:强有力的创新生态系统主导企业、系统内伙伴企业密度、企业本地化以及企业异质性4个因素对创新生态系统稳定性具有显著正向影响;系统内伙伴企业互惠性和居间性与创新生态系统稳定性之间关系不显著。最后,基于研究结论,提出保持平台企业主导的创新生态系统网络稳定性的政策建议。  相似文献
