以创造力理论为基础,探究赋能型领导对员工创造力的作用机制,检验个人学习的中介作用和成就动机的调节作用。通过采用验证性因子分析、层次回归分析和Bootstrap法,对收集的309份问卷进行分析。研究结果表明:①赋能型领导对员工创造力有正向影响作用;②个人学习在赋能型领导和员工创造力之间发挥部分中介作用;③成就动机调节了赋能型领导与员工个人学习之间的关系,且被调节的中介模型得到了验证。  相似文献

We study the effect of the educational diversity of managers on the performance of team‐managed mutual funds using a large sample of U.S. equity funds from 1994 to 2013. We consider diversity in terms of both final educational degree and field of educational specialisation. We find that, in general, both types of diversity have a positive impact on fund performance, and our results are robust over a wide range of performance metrics and changes in market conditions.  相似文献

基于高阶理论与调节焦点理论,通过中国373家企业问卷调查数据,探讨CEO环境不确定性感知对企业创新模式选择的影响机制。结果表明:CEO环境不确定性感知对企业渐进性创新与突破性创新均具有显著正向影响;高管团队行为整合在CEO环境不确定性感知与企业创新间发挥部分中介作用;CEO特质调节焦点正向调节CEO环境不确定性感知与高管团队行为整合之间的关系,同时正向调节上述中介机制。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

This semi-ethnographic research is an exploration of the creative process from the unique perspective of the circus business. It examines from an interpretivist perspective how circus companies collaborate in the generation and manifestation of ideas, balancing the demands of maintaining a strict physical training regime with devising the circus aesthetic for an expectant audience. The focus of the research is a retired aerial trapeze artist and company director supported by contributions from semi-structured interviews with nine contemporary circus directors and an arts policy officer. Issues were identified from attending three circus network events providing an opportunity to conduct an online questionnaire resulting in thirty-nine responses. Following thematic analysis across all data, key themes emerge identifying networked creativity, productive creativity and intrinsic creativity which correlates to conceptual models of creativity and innovation in organisations. Preliminary findings suggest that networks, skills and intrinsic motivation are integral to creativity within the circus business environment. Whilst this may not be unique to circus, the depth to which it is experienced and its inter-relationality to the form, is readily apparent. This has potential interesting implications for further research within a circus context as well as implications for further exploration of practice in other creative sectors.  相似文献

近年来,高管团队断裂带对企业绩效的影响引起了国内外学者的广泛关注,然而高管团队断裂带究竟是促进还是抑制了企业绩效尚无一致结论。基于交叉分类视角,以我国2011—2018年创业板民营上市公司为研究样本,应用广义最小二乘法,实证分析了高管团队断裂带对企业成长绩效的影响,以及企业创新强度对二者关系的调节作用。实证研究结果显示:高管团队任务相关断裂带和社会分类断裂带与民营创业企业成长绩效存在显著的倒U型关系,同时,企业创新强度对高管团队断裂带与民营创业企业成长绩效关系具有显著调节效应。具体而言,企业创新强度越高,高管团队任务相关断裂带和社会分类断裂带与民营创业企业成长绩效间的倒U型关系越显著。  相似文献

Creativity and innovation have been identified by senior executives as some of the most desired characteristics of corporate culture. Accordingly, managers strive to build these cultures within their organizations. However, research in psychology suggests that these attempts may have unintended negative consequences. In this study, I predict and find that managers in a more (versus less) innovative company culture will engage in higher levels of real earnings management (REM). I then test two construal level theory (CLT)-based interventions designed to reduce REM. As I predict, I find that in more innovative corporate cultures an intervention that makes downside risk more salient reduces REM, but an intervention that encourages managers to consider the “big-picture” impact of their decision reduces REM to a greater extent. Unexpectedly, I also find that the effect of the “big-picture” intervention reverses in a less innovative corporate culture leading to an increase in REM. My findings contribute to the emerging accounting literature regarding REM. I also extend the psychology literature investigating the link between opportunistic behavior and creativity, and I also expand research into how interventions based on CLT can affect judgment and decision making in an accounting context.  相似文献

This study evaluates national culture’s influence on the incentive practice-firm performance relationship. Hofstede’s work (1993) and institutional theory (North, 1990) suggest national culture will moderate incentive effectiveness, while others suggest it has minimal impact (Gerhart & Fang, 2005). We find performance orientation (PO), in-group collectivism (I-GC) and uncertainty avoidance (UA) dimensions explain strength and direction of incentive-performance relationships. Profit-sharing―performance relationships are favorably supported by cultures with high PO, high I-GC, and low UA; however, the individual-bonus―performance relationship is enhanced by the near-opposite culture profile. There was no evidence that the team-bonus―outcome relationship is influenced by national culture.  相似文献

This paper strives to extend knowledge about tensions in heroic and post-heroic leadership. Previous studies have focused on one overarching context rather than explained how these tensions interplay in diverse contextual circumstances. This paper adopts a Goffmanian perspective and explores the tensions between heroic and post-heroic leadership in onstage and offstage contexts. By drawing on semi-structured interviews and an ethnographic observation of ice hockey teams, the paper proposes three dynamics by which these tensions are manifested in offstage and onstage contexts, namely: ‘Coaching over-the-others’, ‘Starring up-to-the-others’, and ‘Doing self in-the-others’. The paper concludes by discussing the importance of looking at the dynamics by which tensions between heroic and post-heroic leadership are manifested in multiple circumstances of team leadership.  相似文献
