Strong Nash equilibrium in games with common and complementary local utilities

A rather general class of strategic games is described where the coalitional improvements are acyclic and hence strong Nash equilibria exist: The players derive their utilities from the use of certain facilities; all players using a facility extract the same amount of local utility therefrom, which amount depends both on the set of users and on their actions, and is decreasing in the set of users; the ultimate utility of each player is the minimum of the local utilities at all relevant facilities. Two important subclasses are “games with structured utilities,” basic properties of which were discovered in 1970s and 1980s, and “bottleneck congestion games,” which attracted researchers’ attention quite recently. The former games are representative in the sense that every game from the whole class is isomorphic to one of them. The necessity of the minimum aggregation for the existence of strong Nash equilibria, actually, just Pareto optimal Nash equilibria, in all games of this type is established.     

DEMAND,CUSTOMER BASE‐LINE AND DEMAND RESPONSE IN THE ELECTRICITY MARKET: A SURVEY

The increasing use of demand‐side management, as a tool to reliably meet electricity demands at peak time, has stimulated interest among researchers, consumers and producer organiza‐tions, managers, regulators and policymakers. This research reviews the growing literature on models which are used to study demand, customer base‐line (CBL) and demand response in the electricity market. After characterizing the general demand models, the CBL, based on which the demand response models are studied, is reviewed. Given the experience gained from the review and existing conditions, the study combines an appropriate model for each case for a possible application to the electricity market; moreover, it discusses the implications of the results. In the literature, these aspects are studied independently. The main contribution of this survey is attributed to the treatment of the three issues as sequentially interdependent. The review is expected to enhance the understanding of the demand, CBL and demand response in the electricity market and their relationships. The objective is conducted through a combination of demand and supply side managements in order to reduce demand through different demand response programs during peak times. This enables electricity suppliers to save costly electricity generation and at the same time reduce energy vulnerability.

Sustainable Entrepreneurship: A Convergent Process Model

Sustainable entrepreneurship pursues a triple bottom line approach of economic, social and ecological goals. The main aim of this paper is to add to our understanding of the process of sustainable entrepreneurship. Since the field of sustainable entrepreneurship is in a nascent stage, we conduct a qualitative study. We employ a multiple case study design to build theory. Based on four case studies we develop a model, which describes the process of sustainable entrepreneurship, including six phases: 1) recognizing a social or ecological problem; 2) recognizing a social or ecological opportunity; 3) developing a double bottom line solution; 4) developing a triple bottom line solution; 5) funding and forming of a sustainable enterprise; 6) creating or entering a sustainable market. By developing a convergent process model with two pathways, we make theoretical contributions to the emerging fields of sustainable entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship. A key finding is that the triple bottom line of ecological, social and economic goals is integrated sequentially, not simultaneously. 基于Aptina ASX340的倒车影像系统设计与实现

为了避免倒车过程中因视觉盲区可能出现的安全隐患问题[1][2],文章采用飞思卡尔单片机做主机,Aptina图像传感器ASX340[3]做从机,利用ASX340内部的OVERLAY位图叠加系统,设计了一种能够将倒车过程中实时的车辆尾部的影像,距离障碍物的安全距离,倒车轨迹路径等信息提供驾驶员倒车影像系统[9][10]。使用HYRes3_1、Imatest软件[4]测量了影像图像质量的主要因素。测量结果表明成像质量能够满足目前车厂的要求。

浅谈航线工作中的线路检查

不管航空技术发展再快,技术再先进,系统的线路故障是都是不能避免的。几乎每一个系统都有电气线路的连接,而线路的故障在飞机所有故障当中占了相当大的比例,除了直接导致系统失效,还可能出现跳火,燃烧等现象,对安全的影响很大。本篇文章主要讲解线路分布在飞机不同的区域,不同的位置,受到环境温度,湿度,其他系统部件机械运动的影响等,其故障具有隐蔽、复杂、多样的特点,又由于排故时需要认真去测量检查,用的时间也相对较长,成功率依然偏低,还往往容易出现误换件,造成维修成本增加。
