Beyond Achievement: Entrepreneurship as Extreme Experience

How do entrepreneurs experience entrepreneurship, and what are the implications? The cognitive and emotional experiences of the entrepreneur as he/she performs the tasks associated with venture creation and high growth have received limited attention from researchers. The entrepreneurial context can be characterized in terms of peaks and valleys, or periods of relatively high pressure, stress, uncertainty, and ambiguity and periods of relative stability and predictability. Three inter-related psychological variables are investigated to determine their applicability in an entrepreneurial context: peak performance, peak experience, and flow. Results are reported of a series of in-depth, structured interviews conducted with two samples of entrepreneurs. Both qualitative and quantitative evidence is provided of the relevance of all three variables to entrepreneurs, with the highest scores for each variable demonstrated by entrepreneurs in high growth ventures. A number of implications are drawn for ongoing research and entrepreneurial practice, most notably in the area of entrepreneurial motivation. The findings suggest that entrepreneurship be approached as a vehicle for optimal human experiencing.

简要回顾了2011年1季度宏观经济、电力需求和电煤消费的相关情况，对迎峰度夏期间电煤供需形势进行了分析展望，预计届时全国电煤供需将呈“基本平衡，局部紧张”的基本格局。针对电煤供需形势及问题，对政府、发电企业、煤炭生产企业及电网企业提出了若干对策建议。     

A SIMPLE TEST FOR UNIFORMITY

Abstract A new and very simple test for uniformity is proposed. An exact formula for the distribution under H₀ of the corresponding test statistic is derived. This formula is only suitable for computer-oriented use. For other circumstances a table of critical values is given. The power of the test is compared with that of two well-known alternatives: the χ²-test and the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test.

Do small pecuniary incentives motivate residential peak energy reductions? Experimental evidence

This article evaluates demand-side interventions aimed at reducing residential consumption during the peak energy periods. The interventions were applied to a sample of high-income households and included a set of text message reminders advising participants to reduce electricity use during peak hours. One group of participants received accompanying intra-day increases in peak-hour kWh rates, while another group of participants did not receive any price incentives. We find that intra-day price increases, though small in absolute magnitude, produced significant reductions in peak energy use. Reductions in use, as compared to a control group, were significantly higher among the pricing group compared to the group only receiving text messages, suggesting that pricing played a central role in influencing behaviour. Our results contribute to ongoing policy discussion about the effect of dynamic pricing on consumer energy demand.

液化天然气应急储备调峰项目在陕西燃气市场的功能发挥及应用分析

阐述了陕西天然气资源配置、长输管网规划建设及城市燃气发展状况;分析了陕西燃气供应系统的运行特点及存在困难。结合陕西燃气集团应急储备调峰项目的规划建设和应用分析,提出了加快城市液化天然气应急储备调峰配套设施的规划建设,大力发展液化天然气汽车,理顺产业链价格机制等建议。     

计及调峰因素的F级和H级燃气机组选型研究

发展天然气发电对于推动地区优化能源结构、促进节能减排、实现“双碳”目标具有重要意义。天然气发电机组凭借环保、快速启停等优点,已越来越多地应用于电力系统调峰调频。对于峰谷差明显、长期存在调峰压力、即将大规模接入海上风电等间歇性可再生电源的某东部沿海省份电力系统而言,“十四五”期间及以后建设一批调峰气电意义重大。随着东部地区天然气供应能力的逐步增强,天然气发电已具备良好的建设基础。气电的合理规模与布局、电源与电网的协调发展,共同保障电力安全供应、增强电力系统稳定水平。天然气发电机组其清洁高效、启停迅速、运行灵活、调节性能好的优点,而不同类型的天然气发电机组在技术性能、碳排放、度电成本等方面具有不同的特点,因此为促进天然气发电高质量发展,结合天然气发电机组的发展趋势及电网调峰需求,本研究拟对某东部沿海省份未来天然气发电机组选型进行研究。     

双碳发展对我国的影响及应对策略

近年来二氧化碳排放持续快速增长,全球气候变暖已成不争事实.国际社会为共同应对气候变化做出了积极努力,截至2020年底,全球已有40余个国家和经济体正式宣布了碳中和目标.我国化石能源消费和二氧化碳排放持续增长,占全球比重逐步升高,为提升发展质量,彰显大国责任,需要积极科学推动碳达峰碳中和工作.同时,双碳发展将对我国经济社会产生重要深远影响,能源结构、产业布局将发生深刻调整.面对重大机遇挑战,应以战略性思维统筹推进双碳工作,找准发力点,分阶段稳步实施,努力实现经济社会高质低碳创新发展.     

生态文明建设视域下的可持续设计参与绿色发展路径研究——兼“2021绿色发展与生态设计泉州高端论坛”会议综述

为推动设计学科更好地服务于国家生态文明建设战略,探讨基于我国国情下可持续设计参与“双碳”目标和“绿色发展”的路径,“2021绿色发展与生态设计泉州高端论坛”于2021年7月24日在福建省泉州市举行。论文立足于会议研讨内容,梳理了我国当前生态文明建设发展的现状,以及实现“双碳”目标所面临的问题和挑战,探讨了可持续设计在能源转型、经济转型和后疫情时代的设计方法和理念,总结并提出了面对改善、解决不同社会问题的可持续设计战略和实施路径,提出了可持续设计在助力生态文明建设中的新方向和着力点。
