Optimization of open-pit mine cutoff grade based on option pricing theory

Considering the high volatility of mineral prices, this paper has proposed a new method for the optimization of open-pit cutoff grade by applying option pricing theory. The advantage of the new method is that the decision-making of current cutoff grade takes into account the possible changes of future price and the corresponding cutoff grade decisions at that time. The optimization result of such method shows that when the current price goes up, it is likely that we should raise or lower the cutoff grade, or even keep it unchanged. This kind of results is very different from the optimization by existing models, and undoubtedly it reflects deeper economic characteristics of cutoff grade.

钢筋砼框架优化设计

本文提出了用准则法和网格搜索法联合应用进行钢筋砼框架的优化,这种方法简单易懂,避免了优化设计中复杂的数学问题。用此方法,编制了钢筋砼框架优化设计微机(IBM—PC XT/AT)计算程序。实例计算结果表明:工程造价比现行设计方法降低10％左右,对于普通框架,优化计算所费机时仅为5分钟左右(包括打印结果时间在内)
