The method for constructing efficient plans is presented, and a relationship between the average efficiency factors of the row-column design and the corresponding main effects is given for the two-factor case. 基于货币供需变动的我国货币政策有效性研究

货币政策的有效性问题一直受到我国学术界的关注,特别是近年来中央银行针对愈演愈烈的通货膨胀及房地产投机现象,多次运用加息、提高存款准备金率等货币政策工具对宏观经济进行调控。本文运用货币政策有效性理论,并结合相关理论模型和统计数据,对1991~2010年期间的货币政策效果进行了实证分析。通过对理论模型与实际货币需求和货币供给变动的拟合程度进行检验,从货币供需变动角度分析了我国货币政策的有效性。

The aim of this paper is to present some of the stylized features of financial data which have received a lot of attention both from practitioners and those with more theoretical backgrounds. Some of the models resulting from these efforts are reviewed and discussed. Do Market Makers Suffer from Splitting Headaches?

Studies of transactions surrounding stock split ex-dates often conclude that splitting firms either experience a decline or an improvement in their stock's liquidity, based on independent measures of trading costs and trading activity. In contrast, our evidence suggests that splits from outside into what often is deemed to be the optimal stock price range of $10.00 to $39.99 are nonevents for market makers: The spread-setting behavior of the market does not change after a split. Our analysis accounts for the interdependencies between bid-ask spreads and market microstructure effects and distinguishes between optimal and all other splitting firms.     

Calculating The Cost of Capital of an Unlevered Firm For Use in Project Evaluation

The adjusted present value requires an estimate of the cost of equity of an unlevered firm. Traditional approaches for calculating this cost assume that firms maintain a constant market-value percentage of debt when in fact firms typically use a book-value percentage of debt. In this paper, we present an approach to correctly estimate the cost of equity of an unlevered firm whenever the firm fails to maintain a constant market-value-based leverage ratio. We also demonstrate that both the Modigliani and Miller (1963) and Miles and Ezzell (1980) approaches may yield substantial valuation errors when firms determine debt levels based on book-value percentages. In contrast our method makes no errors as long as managers know the marginal tax benefit of debt.
