虚拟组织持续创新能力提升机理及路径研究

虚拟组织作为一种新兴的市场资源连接及能力重组模式,彰显出其持续价值创新的优越性。通过分析虚拟组织持续创新能力的作用本质,阐述了虚拟组织持续创新能力形成过程,指出了持续创新能力是知识存量、知识增量与知识质量相互作用转化而形成的知识能量集合。在此基础上,构建了虚拟组织持续创新能力提升机理模型,提出了提升虚拟组织持续创新能力的3种基本路径——竞合互动路径、知识对流路径、创新协同路径,深入剖析了3种路径对提升虚拟组织持续创新力的作用机理及演化过程,提升了虚拟组织持续创新能力理论与实践应用价值。     

A two-stage realized volatility approach to estimation of diffusion processes with discrete data

This paper motivates and introduces a two-stage method of estimating diffusion processes based on discretely sampled observations. In the first stage we make use of the feasible central limit theory for realized volatility, as developed in [Jacod, J., 1994. Limit of random measures associated with the increments of a Brownian semiartingal. Working paper, Laboratoire de Probabilities, Universite Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris] and [Barndorff-Nielsen, O., Shephard, N., 2002. Econometric analysis of realized volatility and its use in estimating stochastic volatility models. Journal of the Royal Statistical Society. Series B, 64, 253–280], to provide a regression model for estimating the parameters in the diffusion function. In the second stage, the in-fill likelihood function is derived by means of the Girsanov theorem and then used to estimate the parameters in the drift function. Consistency and asymptotic distribution theory for these estimates are established in various contexts. The finite sample performance of the proposed method is compared with that of the approximate maximum likelihood method of [Aït-Sahalia, Y., 2002. Maximum likelihood estimation of discretely sampled diffusion: A closed-form approximation approach. Econometrica. 70, 223–262].     

Dynamic capabilities through continuous improvement infrastructure

We examine the content of continuous improvement strategies and identify infrastructure decision areas that are important for continuous improvement initiatives. We present a framework of infrastructure based on the idea that continuous improvement can serve as a dynamic capability when it includes a comprehensive organizational context. Further, we study continuous improvement initiatives in five companies to investigate the practices used by them in each of the decision areas of our framework. This research adds to the conceptual understanding of continuous improvement and results in grounded propositions about critical areas of infrastructure for continuous improvement.

Optimal stopping under model uncertainty and the regularity of lower Snell envelopes

The analysis of American options in incomplete markets has motivated the development of robust versions of the classical Snell envelopes: The cost of superhedging an American option is characterized by the upper Snell envelope, while the infimum of the arbitrage prices is given by the lower Snell envelope. Lower Snell envelopes also appear in the problem of optimal stopping under model uncertainty. In this paper we focus on the lower Snell envelope. We construct a regular version of this stochastic process. To this end, we apply results due to Dellacherie and Lenglart on the regularization of stochastic processes and 𝒯-Systems.

A supply chain network design considering transportation cost discounts

This study addresses an integrated facility location and inventory allocation problem considering transportation cost discounts. Specifically, this article considers two types of transportation discounts simultaneously: quantity discounts for inbound transportation cost and distance discounts for outbound transportation cost. This study uses an approximation procedure to simplify DC distance calculation details, and develops an algorithm to solve the aforementioned supply chain management (SCM) problems using nonlinear optimization techniques. Numerical studies illustrate the solution procedures and the effects of the model parameters on the SCM decisions and total costs. Results of this study serve as a reference for business managers and administrators.
