对复杂经济系统理论的探讨

传统的经济学是建立在静态的、均衡的理论基础上的,现实经济系统中越来越多的现象已无法在这一理论框架下得到合理的解释。复杂性经济理论将复杂性理论引入经济领域,以动态非均衡的复杂性观点来研究经济问题,认为经济系统是一个过程依赖性的、不断演变的有机体,从而使许多经济现象得到了很好的解释。因此,它已不再是对传统经济理论的补充,而是一种更全面的、建立在非均衡基础上的、崭新的经济理论。对它的探索是有意义的。     

虚拟团队交互记忆系统对团队绩效的影响!——任务复杂性的调节作用

利用对45个虚拟团队的调研数据,通过相关分析和回归分析,探讨了虚拟团队的虚拟性对交互记忆系统的影响、交互记忆系统的各维度对团队绩效的影响及任务复杂性对两者间关系的调节作用。研究结果显示:虚拟团队的虚拟性和交互记忆系统之间存在相关关系;虚拟团队交互记忆系统的3个维度(专长度、可信度和协调度)对团队绩效具有较强的预测作用;任务复杂性对交互记忆系统与团队绩效的关系产生负向调节作用。     

Systems science serves enterprise integration: a tutorial

Enterprise integration is a major global challenge of these times. It is now possible for a new generation of practitioners to engage this challenge selectively by applying a recently articulated version of systems science (WSS). This tutorial paper argues that a half-century of disarray of the systems field can be seen as ending; and that the distillation of WSS to support a wide variety of application areas (in this instance, enterprise integration) can occupy practitioners as they harness the work program of complexity (WPOC) selectively. Carrying out the WPOC yields predictable portfolio components, consisting of a well-defined mix of tangible and intangible products. The three causes of poor intellectual productivity identified by Kenneth Boulding are nullified when appropriate role matching is achieved between WSS and enterprise integration.     

Expanding Socio-economics in Four Dimensions

Abstract

During the last decades the rapid progress in the fields of complex modelling and simulationor in the cognitive and the life sciences was not accompanied by a similar advancement of the socio-economic research tradition itself. Socio-economics as a hybrid field for the complex dynamics of modern societies across their micro-, meso- and macro-levels has still a long way to go in order to reach its full potential. The present article provides a general outline for expanding and advancing socio-economics along four different dimensions which should be able to produce a significant take-off for socio-economic theories, models, methods and mechanisms.     

Navigating Through the Spatial and Institutional Contradictions of Public Audit Oversight

Abstract

This study revisits the actions of the French audit regulator (H3C) and the French profession over the 2003–2013 period in response to the regulatory transformations that occurred both in the national and transnational space. Our analysis highlights how these actors have navigated through the spatial and institutional contradictions that characterize public audit oversight in order to manage variable and opposing interests from one space to another. In particular, we show how conflicting national and transnational conceptions of professionalism and commercialism have developed to support different regulatory agendas. Our analysis of the spatial dynamics of public audit oversight allows us to propose a much less confrontational representation of the relationships between public audit regulators and the audit profession. We maintain that more attention should be paid to the spatial variants of commercialism and professionalism to better understand the development of audit regulation.

企业扩张背景越来越复杂化,企业扩张实践面临诸多复杂性问题,文章分析了现有企业扩张理论解释当前扩张现象和解决扩张问题的局限性,整理和归纳复杂性理论成果在企业扩张相关研究中的现有成果,提出将复杂性理论进一步系统地应用于企业扩张研究的理论意义和现实意义.     

Investment in private water development: Property rights and contractual opportunism during the California Gold Rush

This paper explores the development of water supplies by private ditch companies during the California Gold Rush. Using data taken from newspaper stories, mining camp by-laws, and state Supreme Court and district court cases, the paper documents the presence of institutional conditions that were unfavorable to support private water investments including property rights uncertainty, imperfect capital markets, and significant contractual enforcement costs that may have provided opportunities for contractual holdup by miners. Some evidence suggests that water development was likely discouraged to some extent. Nevertheless, the larger response was a major expansion in water supplies through an extensive ditch system, suggesting that there were factors that limited the ability of miners to capture rents, including various ditch company strategies to limit their exposure to opportunistic behavior and recognition by miners of their reliance on ditch companies.
