An empirical comparison of consumer-based measures of brand equity

This article compares eleven different consumer-based brand equity measures and evaluates their convergence. Predictive validity at the individual and aggregate levels is also investigated. Measures based on the dollar metric method and discrete choice methodology predict choices extremely well in a simulated shopping environment, as well as purchase-intention and brand-quality scales.

HAC估计的性质与修正及其在伪回归中的应用研究

本文通过频谱分析揭示了预白化HAC和参数化VARHAC比非参数HAC具有明显优势,并指出传统预白化HAC法由于使用了存在有限样本偏差的OLS法来估计自回归参数,导致其存在有限样本偏差,由此构造的t统计量具有过度拒绝原假设倾向。为了减少预白化HAC的偏差,将OLS估计量的线性修正（LBC）和非线性修正（NBC）嵌入到预白化HAC中,研究表明该法能大大减少长期方差的估计偏差,并通过蒙特卡洛模拟证实对预白化HAC的修正估计能有效减少平稳过程之间的伪回归概率,从而提高了回归模型统计推断的可靠性。     

资本计量方法改革、商业银行风险偏好与信贷配置

为提高银行业风险管理水平与信贷配置效率,监管部门于2014年开展了资本管理高级方法的试点工作。本文基于上市银行2010至2016年的微观数据,与银监会公布的行业信贷风险进行匹配,采用双重差分和三重差分法,实证分析前述改革如何影响试点银行的风险偏好和信贷调配。研究发现,在资本管理高级方法实施后:(1)试点银行显著降低了风险加权资产的规模;(2)试点银行风险偏好的变化存在非线性的特征,在调减高风险行业贷款的同时,并未显著增加最安全行业的贷款,而是增加了风险略高行业的贷款,体现出试点银行对风险与收益的权衡;(3)进一步将行业划分为“虚”与“实”,研究发现试点银行减少了房地产业(“虚”)、制造业(“实”)和建筑业(“实”)贷款,显著增加了金融业(“虚”)贷款。本文研究不仅丰富了资本监管方面的文献,也对金融支持供给侧结构性改革具有启示意义。     

哲学教学与方法

马克思主义哲学教学面临着根本性的困境,即它无法实现对人的存在真理的有效介入,它在形式化和政治化的教条中丧失了原始生命力。而一些学者一味地强调改变教学方法,以为会对这一困境起到补救作用。其实,在实践中往往会起一种相反的作用。我们应该重新用一种感性学的眼光来看待和改变传统的教学与方法。

应对提高景观设计"可持续性"的要求,提出了景现格局规划的概念,结合景观生态学原理,根据生态优先、生态全面性及生态可辩护性的规划原则拟定了规划方法框架,进而对框架中的理想格局类型和水平扩散分析等重要问题进行了探讨.     

Forecasting occupancy rate with Bayesian compression methods

The curse of dimensionality is a challenge that researchers often face when dealing with large Vector Autoregressions (VARs). Different approaches have been proposed in the literature to address this issue. In this paper, we propose a new method based on the idea of compressed regression. In particular, we introduce two novel nonlinear compressed VARs to forecast the occupancy rate of hotels that compete within a narrow geographical area. We make the models more flexible through the introduction of neural networks, and compare their performance against several competing models. The empirical results show that the new compressed VARs outperform all other models, and their accuracy is preserved across nearly all forecast horizons from 1 to 36 months.This article also launches the Annals of Tourism Research Curated Collection on Tourism Demand Forecasting, a special selection of research in this field.     

Attention All Shoppers,Queer Customers in Aisle Two: Investigating Lesbian and Gay Discrimination in the Marketplace

In this paper, drawing on epistemologies in social and behavioral sciences, we discuss the tenuous social-cultural climate of sexual minorities within markets. Discourses across disciplines address the socio-political and cultural evolution of sexual minorities, most notably self-identified and out lesbians and gay men. Yet, consumptive and marketing spheres offer mixed metaphors about the value and desirability of lesbians and gays, and often work to enact the homophobic at an institutional level. We review research on homonegative bias and heteronormativity within psychological and sociological domains, and then illustrate how homonegativity toward perceived lesbians and gays is structurally enacted within the marketplace. We posit four methodological strategies that may be used to further research queries in these domains, and comment on the ethical parameters of using deception to investigate discriminatory behavior against (perceived) lesbians and gay men.     

商业银行竞争力研究的新框架——以X效率为核心的三层次分析

学界和实务界对商业银行竞争力的研究颇多。尽管不同的研究者基于各自的理论平台和分析视角,建立了各类银行竞争力的评价指标体系,然而就竞争力分析框架而言,它们或多或少地缺乏完整的内在逻辑,解释力有限。本文提出研究商业银行竞争力的新的分析框架,把效率作为竞争力的核心与纽带以及解释的逻辑起点,以此为基础向另外两个维度分别扩展。新的分析框架将银行竞争力分为相互联系的三个层次,即竞争力的本质(X效率)、竞争力的表现(以利润率为代表的一组绩效指标)、竞争力的来源(形成效率和绩效差异的内外因素)。它们均可进行有理论基础的定量分析,并可运用其测度结果对银行竞争力进行有逻辑关联的、相互补充的分析。
