京杭大运河苏鲁区段旅游协作联盟构建研究

主题性旅游联盟是一种新型的旅游合作模式,在不同的视角下呈现出多种合作类型,其中文化型旅游联盟是基于主题来源视角下的类型之一。围绕“运河文化”这一线性文化主题,选取山东济宁至江苏扬州段运河为研究区域,分析其合作的客观条件,构建出以“运河”为主题的旅游协作联盟合作模式,提出“一条主题景观带,三大服务中心、两大核心区域、三条精品路线”的运河主题旅游空间组织体系。     

基于循环经济理论的绿色会展动力机制研究

循环经济理论自上个世纪60年代由美国一位经济学家提出以来,西方发达国家进行了深入的研究,如今开始重视运用于会展业的发展之中。我国会展经济也进入了高速发展期,但许多展会的开展是以牺牲环境为代价的。构建绿色会展动力机制,旨在为各级政府管理部门制定相关政策提供参考,为会展组织机构开展良性竞争机制的提供依据,更有利于参展商不断提高参展产品质量,引导社会公众参与绿色监督,并为展会的系统设计提供绿色参考标准。     

Uncertainty and the Governance of Street Vending: A Critical Comparison Across the North/South Divide

Through a critical comparison of the spatial management of street vending in Ciudad del Este, Paraguay and New York City, USA, we show how uncertainty enables the management of vending and urban space. By uncertainty, we mean a condition characterized by legal complexity and negotiable enforcement of laws and regulations. Putting New York and Ciudad del Este in dialogue, we demonstrate that these negotiated legalities are not limited to Southern urbanisms, nor are they remnants of unmodern social forms. We find similarities in how vendors experience and negotiate uncertainty, even as divergent mechanisms link uncertainty and inequality. By claiming streets as sites of work, vendors challenge dominant notions of global urbanism which conceive of sidewalks as sites of circulation, rather than livelihood. Especially in Ciudad del Este, vendors know the biases of law, and ground their claims to livelihood in ethics rather than legal compliance. Yet vendors’ claims can also reinscribe hierarchical relationships with frontline enforcers and reinforce exclusionary notions of rights based in productive citizenship. Understanding how uncertainty works as a logic of governing helps expose these unavoidable tensions and therefore to imagine and construct pathways toward more just urban economies.     

Theme park revenue management with a dual admission policy

There are several efforts to increase the revenue of theme parks. One of them is to divide admission policy into normal and express admission. If a certain customer buys express admission ticket with more expensive price, it is possible to reduce the excessive waiting time by using the exclusive waiting line for some or all the attraction’s rides. In this study, decision-making elements such as the price of the express admission ticket, maximum allowed number of express admission ticket per day, and the type of rides which can apply the express admission ticket are investigated to maximize the revenue.     

Understanding road traffic risks from the street hawker’s perspective

This study explored street hawkers’ lived experiences and risks in traffic using the phenomenological case study design. Data from 24 hawkers at three hawking spots and field observations form the basis of our study. A stratified purposeful sampling scheme was employed to ensure a balance of gender and age. Thematic data analytic strategy was employed in the data analysis. We found that participants’ traffic incidents were mainly self-induced, attributable to their negligence on the road, indiscriminate road crossing and car-following behaviour. Our results suggest a perceived relationship between socio-demographic characteristics and personal traffic accident encounters. Also, we noted that the ability to manage traffic risk seem to influence hawkers’ traffic risk perceptions, with gender and age as possible mediators. As this study is exploratory, we recommend further scientific enquiry to explain these issues and to provide the basis for appropriate interventions to manage the road safety implications of this activity.     

Integral decision analysis in mutually exclusive capital investment projects. Case study: Hard Rock Cafe at Riviera Maya

Brands that have worldwide recognition are perceived as profitable businesses. One of the reasons for this perception might lie in the belief that these companies usually employ some degree of financial evaluation to make the right choice in terms of investment; Hard Rock Cafe is no exception. The brand opened one restaurant in the Riviera Maya in 2011 which closed within nine months. Could a better investment decision have been made if the Hard Rock Cafe Mexico management had followed the Integral Decision Analysis (IDA) method? This method gives decision-makers a chance to analyze mutually exclusive capital budgeting projects. The case study illustrates the type of elements that the model can yield, it provides a brief explanation on how this process could have been used by the Hard Rock Cafe management and it offers an explanation on how this knowledge might have helped in supporting a final investment decision. In conclusion, the IDA method used to analyze this project might reduce the risks in capital investments.     

Scale development for the practices involved in creating value propositions in the exhibition industry: Service-dominant logic with a mixed-methods approach

Building on a mixed-method approach, this study examines the practices engaged in creating value propositions in the exhibition industry from the perspective of service-dominant (S-D) logic, which regards the offering of value propositions as service innovation and an essential prerequisite for value cocreation. Consequently, a five-factor structure with 40 measures underlying the practices of offering value propositions is developed and validated. The extant tourism literature on the meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions (MICE) industry mainly examines value cocreation issues while overlooking the concept of value propositions. This study contributes to the S-D logic literature by extending the theoretical understanding from value cocreation to value proposition. The findings of this study present important dimensions and attributes that are involved in creating value propositions for service innovation. Exhibition service providers can use these findings as a blueprint for service innovation project management and as a checklist for assessing their innovation competency.     

关于构建高职会展管理专业课程体系的探讨

随着现代会展业对专业化人才需求的扩大 ,会展专业人才的培养已引起相关部门的关注。本文分析了国内外会展教育的基本情况 ,提出了高职院校构建会展管理教育专业课程体系的构想。
