Migration Flows and Intra-Industry Trade Adjustments

In this paper we analyse the link between trade and migration. Focusing on the experience of Spain, we relate a marginal index of intra-industry trade to the stock of foreign workers—classified according to their country of origin and their situation in the Spanish labour market. We focus on the possibility that existing networks of foreign workers and their connections with their countries of origin could stimulate trade with the host country. Our results show a significant impact of the number of immigrants with work permits on intra-industry trade adjustment. However, this impact being positive or negative depends on whether foreign workers are employees or self-employed, the duration of the work permits and the type of job they occupy. JEL no. 财政信息透明度的理论分析

提高财政信息透明度对一国的财政管理活动至关重要,国际货币基金组织编写的《财政透明度手册》对此作了很好的诠释。理解财政信息透明度,应当抓住财政信息是一种特殊的公共品这一本质,供给者是政府,需求者是公众。由于不对称信息的存在,使得政府与公众的财政信息供求背离均衡点。提高财政信息透明度,就是通过一系列制度安排,去努力接近财政信息供求均衡的理想状态。     

跨国公司TMT内部网分层研究

本文从战略的资源观和知识为基础的理论两方面阐述了跨国公司高层管理团队(Top Management Team,简称为TMT)研究的必要性,并从结点式研究、二元式研究和系统研究三个层次对跨国公司TMT内部网的形成过程、特点和作用进行了剖析。我们将跨国公司全球网络内部的战略领导视为一种集体现象、一个过程和一种组织结构;同时,将TMT。网络视为一种动态的现象,与初级的实物与资本的网络不同,这种人力资本的互动与沟通在更高层次上激活了网络的动态特质,是网络真正发挥优势和潜质的关键所在。     

企业供应链成本管理方法与关键环节

市场竞争已成为供应链与供应链之间的角逐,如何加强企业供应链成本的控制和管理,是现代企业不得不面对的重要问题。本文选取了两种较新的成本管理方法——供应链平衡计分法和作业成本法加以分析,并对实施过程中应注意的关键问题进行了探讨。     

Investment decisions in the wireless industry applying real options

The wireless industry is one of the most capital intensive high-technology industries. This paper applies real options techniques to estimate investments under uncertainty in two new ventures: (a) deferral of the expansion from 2.5G to 3G networks; and (b) expansion of a 2.5G network using Wi-Fi as an alternative technology. The cases are examined and analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively, using realistic assumptions and parameters. Investment cost, number of subscribers, pricing of services, and risk are at the core of investment decision processing. In both cases, sensitivity analysis of the value of the (real) option considering the above key parameters was conducted, to extrapolate useful findings that should be taken into consideration by the decision makers in wireless companies.     

地方公共服务、要素流动与要素空间配置——基于本地交易成本的均衡分析

通过"两区域、两要素与两部门"模型研究发现,即使存在区域内与区域间两类交易成本,增加公共服务仍有利于吸引要素流入,并产生要素空间聚集效应;增加公共支出以改善区内贸易条件对要素流动及其空间分布具有不同的影响;我国地方公共支出规模与全要素生产率之间存在明显的长期因果关系.     

再制造系统最优合同设计

再制造工程的经济、环保、自然资源节约以及缓解就业压力等方面的作用,已经在工业发达国家得到充分的证实。在分散决策的情况下,由零售商进行废旧品回收的模式是最优的,但与集中决策的供应链绩效相比还表现出一定的低效率或不效率。本文在比较分散决策与集中决策供应链绩效的基础上,对分散决策模型进行优化改进,设计最优激励合同,以提高实际分散决策的绩效,为工业实践提供理论指导最后指出了未来的研究方向。     

A multi-echelon supply chain model for reworkable items in multiple-markets with supply disruption

The objective of this paper is to develop a multi-echelon supply chain model for multiple-markets with different selling seasons. Here, two suppliers are involved to supply the raw materials to the manufacturer where the main supplier may face supply disruption after a random time and the secondary supplier is perfectly reliable but more expensive than the main supplier. In this article, the manufacturer produces a random proportion of defective items which are reworked after regular production and are sold in a lot to another market just after completion of rework. The retailer sells the finished products in different markets according to seasons. Finally, an integrated expected cost per unit product of the chain is minimized analytically by considering the lot-size ordered as a decision variable. An appropriate numerical example is also provided to justify the proposed model.     

Fulfillment source allocation,inventory transshipment,and customer order transfer in e-tailing

We consider an inventory fulfillment-allocation and transshipment problem in an e-tailing environment. For a typical e-tailer, each customer demand is fulfilled from the closest fulfillment center if there are enough inventories. Otherwise, the e-tailer would transship stock from a nearby facility or transfer the customer order so it is fulfilled from another facility, depending on the economics of transportation. We develop a mixed-integer programming model to help e-tailers optimally fulfill customer orders while minimizing logistics costs. We propose a Benders decomposition-based approach to efficiently find optimal solutions. Our computational results demonstrate the importance of considering inventory transshipments in online deliveries.
