两岸贸易对台湾经济增长影响的实证分析——基于1980年—2010年的时间序列数据

运用1980年—2010年的相关时间序列数据,在回顾两岸经贸发展历程的基础上,分析两岸贸易对台湾地区经济增长的作用机理,系统地运用协整理论对两岸贸易与台湾地区经济增长的关系进行实证研究。研究结果表明,两岸贸易与台湾地区经济增长之间存在着长期均衡关系,且两者之间显现着双向的Granger因果关系,但相互的影响程度不同。台湾地区经济增长对两岸贸易增长的影响并不十分显著,而两岸贸易增长对台湾地区经济增长的影响却十分显著。     

Wage Structure Effects of Taiwan's Science and Technology Development Policy*

This article extends the demand shift analysis of Katz and Murphy (1992) to examine the impact of Taiwan's science and technology development policy on the wage structure between 1979 and 1998. Changes in factor demand are required to account for changes in the wage structure throughout this time. Decomposing factor demand shifts by industry reveal that for men with a vocational college education, the policy can account for 30 percent of the increase in demand; for a university qualification, the amount is 20 percent. It is argued that the policy effect was mostly exogenous.     

台湾对内地居民的旅游吸引力之透析

旅游地吸引力是激发旅游者旅游动机、并促使其付诸现实空间运动的最重要因子。2005年，随着国务院宣布开放内地居民赴台旅游，其相关事宜便引起了两岸业界、民众的极大关注。运用理论与定量相结合的研究方法，分析了台湾的旅游资源拉力和台湾影响内地居民旅游感知的因素，并通过市场调研，总结了内地居民对台湾的旅游感知度和旅游需求，从而展望了台湾对内地居民的旅游吸引力。     

台商在闽农业直接投资对福建省农产品出口的影响分析

以FDI与国际贸易之间的关系理论为基础，对台商在福建省农业直接投资的状况进行论述，利用1997-2005年台商在福建省农业直接投资和福建省农产品的出口量的数据进行相关性分析，得出结论，台商在闽农业直接投资对福建省农产品的出口量的影响很小，但使福建省农产品出口的品种更加的多样化，也改变了农产品出口的产地结构。     

Developing future hotel managers in Taiwan: from an industry viewpoint

The purpose of the study was to investigate and identify competencies needed for entry-level hotel managers from the industry professional's point of view. A survey instrument was used to gather data from present hotel managers in Taipei, Taiwan. Competencies identified in this survey, as being important by entry-level managers, could be a foundation for development of hospitality management curricula in Taiwan.     

Asian Transnational Corporations and Labor Rights: Vietnamese Trade Unions in Taiwan-invested Companies

According to the reports in the past decade, some Asian subcontractors, mainly Taiwan, Hong Kong and Korea transnational corporations, tend to be labor abusive in their overseas investment destinations like China or Southeast Asia. Taking Vietnam as an example, this paper raises questions as to why Taiwanese transnational companies can control workplace unions in a trade-union-supportive regime. Given the government s constraint of political rights, and the individualized workplace unions, the function of trade unions in Vietnam is destined to be limited. The trade unions turn out be an arm of management, rather than representing workers interests in these transnational companies. This article also explores the influence of the newly developed codes of conducts from Western buyers. In the survey of three companies which are required to follow the codes of conduct by buyers, trade unions had no more freedom than those in companies without codes of conduct. The paper discusses the implications of this research, offering strategies for labor rights improvements.Hong-zen Wang is the director of the Graduate Institute of Southeast Asian Studies at the National Chi Nan University, Taiwan. 论ECFA背景下大陆企业在台湾证券市场的融资机制——借鉴香港证券市场的发展经验

在ECFA背景下,大陆与台湾之间的经贸合作必将进一步深化,此时研究台湾证券市场对大陆企业的制度开放问题具有重要的现实意义。本文认为,同属于"亚洲四小龙"的香港在经济发展历程、经济发展战略上与台湾都非常相似,而资本市场从一开始就是附属于实体经济的,是为了满足实体经济资金融通需求而发展起来的,因此,香港证券市场的成功发展策略对台湾证券市场具有很好的借鉴意义。本文研究了内地与香港CE-PA协议及其附加协议中对大陆企业融资开放的规制,认为大陆与台湾可以在ECFA附加协议的框架内达成台湾证券市场对大陆企业的融资开放,并进一步研究融资开放过程中相关法律法规的协调、有效监管体系的构建等制度构建问题。     

海峡两岸食品安全管理与标准比较分析研究

对两岸在食品安全管理、认证、法规、标准以及贸易中可能传播的动物疫病风险等方面进行了研究。通过比较、分析,指出了相互之间的异同,并对今后的食品安全管理和食品贸易提出了建议。     

台湾产业转型升级的经验及对广东的启示

广东与我国台湾地区在地缘、文化、产业等方面具有较大的相似性和可比性。目前,广东推进实施产业和劳动力"双转移"战略,通过"腾笼换鸟"促进产业升级和转型,加快建立优质高效的现代产业体系。分析总结了我国台湾地区在20世纪80年代产业转型升级的成功经验,为当前广东产业转型升级提供有益借鉴,对指导今后广东产业升级有重要意义。
