Effects of demographic,experiential, and attitudinal factors on occupational sex stereotypes

The purpose of this study was to (a) compare the occupational sex stereotypes of 366 college students with those reported by Shinar in 1975, and (b) examine the relationships between demographic, experiential, and attitudinal variables and these occupational sex stereotypes. The results indicated a significant difference in occupational ratings from Shinar's study, with females' perceptions shifting more than males' perceptions. In addition, subjects' gender, tenure with female managers, and attitudes toward women as managers, were shown to be significant predictors of occuptational ratings. The implications of these findings for both employees and managers are then discussed.     

The productivity of private and social farms: Multilateral Malmquist indices for Slovene dairying enterprises

Applying programming techniques to farm-level panel data for four cooperative and 12 private dairy farms in the Yugoslav Republic of Slovenia gives estimates of technical efficiency, scale efficiency, and technical progress. These are used to construct multilateral Malmquist indices of total factor productivity (TFP). For the cooperatives, TFP growth has been slow and is attributable to technical progress. For the private farms, technical progress was also slow, but TFP growth was faster due to improved efficiency. Scale inefficiency explains the poorer absolute performance of the private farms, indicating the need for land reform as well as technological change.

我国上市公司资本结构的突出特点是偏好股权资本,内源融资和债权融资的比重偏低,这有悖于经典的资本结构理论。本文分析了决定上市公司资本结构的微观因素,并提出了优化上市公司资本结构的建议。     

Pseudo empirical likelihood method in the presence of missing data

In this paper, we propose an estimator for the population mean when some observations on the study and auxiliary variables are missing from the sample. The proposed estimator is valid for any unequal probability sampling design, and is based upon the pseudo empirical likelihood method. The proposed estimator is compared with other estimators in a simulation study.     

农机服务规模经营对粮食生产效率的影响机理研究

依据2009—2019年全国31个省（自治区、直辖市）的省级面板数据,运用随机前沿分析方法和Tobit模型,考量农机服务规模经营对粮食生产效率的影响及其作用机理。结果显示：2009—2019年,中国粮食生产效率总体递增,但区域间发展不平衡;农机服务规模经营通过技术引入效应和劳动力替代效应提高粮食生产效率,其中,技术引入效应的发挥受限于农业研发支出水平及其增速,劳动力替代效应在农业劳动力成本高的区域发挥的影响效用更佳。鉴于此,应加快农业科技创新,发展粮食生产全程机械化服务,完善农机社会化服务体系。     

广东民营中小企业适度规模发展的思考

广东民营企业的发展存在大多数民营企业规模偏小和部分民营企业盲目扩张两大问题。本文分别分析了其局限性和危害性，并提出了民营企业适度规模发展的若干对策。     

中国小城镇发展战略研究

在评价我国小城镇发展现状的基础上 ,分析了发展动因 ,提出了建设和发展小城镇的原则及目标构想 ,建议确立“小城镇带动战略” ,选择符合本地实际的发展模式。最后 ,从行政区划、土地流转、融资渠道等角度 ,为我国小城镇的建设提供了政策建议。建议以深化改革来推动小城镇上规模、上档次、上水平 ,进而带动整个农村经济快速、稳定发展。     

国家规模对贸易投资便利化的影响——基于“一带一路”沿线国家数据的实证分析

以"一带一路"53个沿线国家为研究对象测算贸易投资便利化水平，并运用面板数据模型分析国家规模对贸易投资便利化的影响。研究发现：第一，2013年后，"一带一路"沿线国家的贸易投资便利化水平呈上升趋势。第二，在总样本和分时段样本中，国土规模对"一带一路"沿线国家的贸易投资便利化均具有显著的负向影响。第三，在分时段样本中，"一带一路"倡议提出前，居民收入规模是贸易投资便利化的重要影响因素，而倡议的实施使得贸易投资便利化不再受居民收入规模的影响。第四，在分区域样本中，各变量对贸易投资便利化的影响存在较大差异。基于此，本研究从国家规模的角度为"一带一路"沿线国家贸易投资便利化条件的改善以及中国在"一带一路"沿线国家的直接投资和双边贸易提出建议。
