广西独立学院贫困生心理健康状况测查分析

采用SCL-90量表对广西四所独立学院共246名贫困生进行测查,结果显示：（1）SCL-90各因子问题检出率范围分布在1.63%~6.91%之间,属于较低水平,排名较高的前三个因子分别是强迫症状、人际关系敏感和＂其他＂。（2）至少存在某方面中度以上心理问题的人数比例（任一因子分≥3检出率）为11.38%,大二最高,但无性别、专业和生源地上的显著性差异。

基于灾后恢复重建项目后评价指标体系的研究

文章以灾后恢复重建项目为对象,依据全面协调、可操作性与现实性、独立性与可比性以及科学性为基本原则构建指标体系,在评价资金使用管理、社会效益、规划执行、工程效果、工作到位五个一级指标的基础上,构建了一套定性与定量相结合的指标体系,并通过实例,说明了指标体系的合理性与可行性。     

中国农村金融制度演化60年回顾

新中国成立六十年间,中国农村金融制度的变迁是在政府主导下渐进式推进的,演化过程明显具有其它经济制度＂倒逼＂的特性。＂倒逼＂的特征,虽然保证了中央工业化、地方工业化、新农村建设和和谐社会的构建等目标的渐趋实现,确保了社会和国民经济的平稳发展,但对广大农村地区来说,却延缓了农村现代化、市场化的进程,增加了农村金融改革的成本。在今后农村金融制度的变迁中,我们要逐步由政府主导为主转向以市场为主、政府为辅的驱动机制,以克服农村金融制度变迁中的不足,避免出现问题后再治理的机制。     

On the Effects of Deposit Insurance and Observability on Bank Runs: An Experimental Study

We study the effects of deposit insurance and observability of previous actions on the emergence of bank runs by means of a controlled laboratory experiment. We consider three depositors in the line of a bank, who decide between withdrawing or keeping their money deposited. We have three treatments with different levels of deposit insurance which reflect the losses a depositor may incur in the case of a bank run. We find that different levels of deposit insurance and the possibility of observing other depositors’ actions affect the likelihood of bank runs. When decisions are not observable, higher levels of deposit insurance decrease the probability of bank runs. When decisions are observable, this need not to be the case. These results suggest that (i) observability might be considered as a partial substitute of deposit insurance and (ii) the optimal deposit insurance should take into account the degree of observability.     

关于“90后”大学生思想政治教育的新思路

＂90后＂大学生具有新的时代特征,他们的身心素质受时代发展的影响,较之以前的大学生发生了较大的变化。这种变化使现在高校的思想政治教育面临着严峻的考验。当前高校的思政教育工作有一定的发展,但在教育体制、教育内容和教师综合素质的培养等方面还有待进一步的改革和提高。面对这些问题,高校要创新其思政教育体制,加强对思政教师和辅导员综合素质的培养。思政教育工作者要创新教育方法,坚持自我学习、不断提高,使自己具有更为全面的知识结构;要坚持以人为本、宽严并行的教育理念和方法。     

AUSTRALIA'S SMOKE CITY: AIR POLLUTION IN NEWCASTLE

The City of Newcastle has been viewed as marginal to the main narratives of Australian history, despite its contribution to industrial development being likened in importance to that of a Pittsburgh or Birmingham. A focus on visible air pollution makes it possible to reposition Newcastle as the centre of environmental innovation, largely because of the knowledge gathered by Novocastrians about smoke abatement in the Anglo-American industrial cities upon which it modelled itself. The reduction of smoke in Newcastle since World War II is attributed partially to the City Council activities, but also to the displacement of pollution elsewhere, both within Australia and to the Asian cities to which coal is exported.     

Convergence in Structure and Productivity in European Manufacturing?

Abstract. We find fast convergence in productivity for 99 three‐digit European industries over the 1985–98 period. Half of any productivity gap is closed on average in about 10–15 years. We explicitly formulate the steady‐state assumptions for structural convergence to hold. Convergence in industrial structure is much slower than productivity catch‐up with a half‐life of around 50 years, a stylized fact which cannot easily be explained by the existing models of trade and growth.     

On Leland's strategy of option pricing with transactions costs

We compute the limiting hedging error of the Leland strategy for the approximate pricing of the European call option in a market with transactions costs. It is not equal to zero in the case when the level of transactions costs is a constant, in contradiction with the claim in Leland (1985).
