Beyond papermaking: technology and market shifts for wood-based biomass industries – management implications for large-scale industries

Growing environmental concerns, emerging economies, and the strong uncertainties about future prices of fossil fuels as well as about CO₂ emissions contribute to a potential renaissance for biorefining industries. According to theories on technology shifts and innovations (e.g. [Utterback, J. M. 1994. Mastering the dynamics of innovation. How companies can seize opportunities under technological change. Harvard Business School Press]), heavy process industries like pulp and paper tend to be rigid towards disruptive innovations and instead focus on incremental innovations and economies of scale. However, a major empirical contribution from this case study demonstrates that some incumbents may escape the lock-in and form a new biomass development block. The study also contributes to academic as well as technology and innovation management perspectives in process-based and natural resource-based industries, where process innovations are tightly coupled with product innovations in inter-industry (vertical) linkages, the so-called development block.     

区块链技术在推进落实PPP模式相关问题的应用研究

近年来,为了提高政府运行效率,推进改革深化,我国一直在积极推动政府职能改革,以实现对市场资源的优化配置。PPP模式是我国基础设施和公共服务领域新兴的一种合作模式,主要通过政府与社会资本的合作缓解政府财政压力,但该模式在具体推广落实的过程中遇到了许多阻碍。论文从区块链技术应用的角度探讨如何有效地推进落实PPP模式。     

On the role of weights rounding in applications of resampling based on pseudopopulations

Resampling methods are widely studied and increasingly employed in applied research and practice. When dealing with complex sampling designs, common resampling techniques require adjusting noninteger sampling weights in order to construct the so called “pseudopopulation” in order to perform the actual resampling. The practice of rounding, however, has been empirically shown to be harmful under general designs. In this paper, we present asymptotic results concerning, in particular, the practice of rounding resampling weights to the nearest integer, an approach that is commonly adopted by virtue of its reduced computational burden, as opposed to randomization‐based alternatives. We prove that such approach leads to nonconsistent estimation of the distribution function of the survey variable; we provide empirical evidence of the practical consequences of the nonconsistency when the point estimation of the variance of complex estimators is of interest.     

火箭发射架自动式挡弹器的设计

挡弹器是增雨防雹火箭发射架定向器上安装的一个小部件,作用是将待发射的火箭弹挡在装载的发射轨道内。根据多种弹型增水防雹火箭发射架的结构,设计了与之配套的挡弹器,不仅实现了自动挡弹,又满足了各种弹型上的导电片与发射架上的固定点火触头正好接触的距离调整需求,具有较高的实用性和新颖性。     

Overnight block trades in the Korean stock market

We examine the characteristics of overnight block trades in the Korean stock market from 2004 to 2015. We find that the discount on the offering price is negatively related to the number and return volatility of shares, the offering price is higher for firm-commitment contracts than for best-effort contracts, the discount level is lower for larger deal values under best-effort contracts, commission fee rates and fees are more pronounced under firm-commitment contracts, and a deal's uncertainty is related to the firm's contract choice. The incentives of sellers and investment banks are aligned unless sellers face an informational disadvantage.     

旅游城市的建筑文化遗产与历史街区保护修缮策略研究

杭州作为历史文化名城,不可缺少的两大自然及人文景观是西湖与大运河。运河杭州段沿线的传统街巷、建筑和景观在运河整体申遗和旅游经济中发挥着重要作用。根据规划方案,其产业设施和功能区块随之置换,传统的居住生活方式亦随之改变。以运河申遗及旅游规划项目为研究平台,在建筑文化遗产与历史街区保护规划的基础上,综合对比拱宸桥西、小河直街两大历史街区,对文化遗产恢复、重构运河经济结构、提升建筑与景观品质等问题进行了分析。目标在于研究典型历史街区的共性和差异,提出活化历史文化遗产的规划模式,并能对同类历史街区的文化和经济协调发展起到良好的借鉴作用。     

规模不经济环境中的低碳供应链信息共享策略研究

市场规模不经济会增加低碳供应链运转效率和整体效益的成本,而提升低碳供应链内部各主体间的信息共享程度,是降低供应链成本的有效手段之一。在研究相关理论和低碳供应链信息共享主体、内容的基础上,提出基于区块链大数据的低碳供应链信息共享策略研究。构建了基于区块链技术的供应链网络体系、信息共享模型和信息流层次,利用区块链技术提高低碳供应链内部信息共享的便捷性、安全性和完整性。基于信息耦合理论设立信息共享耦合度指标,评价提出信息共享策略的实际应用效果,统计样本数据表明低碳供应链内部信息共享程度的提高,能够降低供应链内部的生产总值,带动供应链整体效益的提高及运转效率的提高。     

The influence of prior industry affiliation on framing in nascent industries: the evolution of digital cameras

New industries sparked by technological change are characterized by high uncertainty. In this paper, we explore how a firm's conceptualization of products in this context, as reflected by product feature choices, is influenced by prior industry affiliation. We study digital cameras introduced from 1991–2006 by firms from three prior industries. We hypothesize and find that: (1) prior industry experience shapes a set of shared beliefs that results in similar and concurrent firm behavior; (2) firms notice and imitate the behaviors of firms from the same prior industry; and, (3) as firms gain experience with particular features, the influence of prior industry decreases. This study extends previous research on firm entry into new domains by examining heterogeneity in firms' framing and feature‐level entry choices. Copyright © 2011 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.     

基于有限状态机的QPSK调制系统发送模块FPGA实现

分析了所设计的通信系统发射波形的帧格式,结合有限状态机（Finite State Machine,FS M）的设计思想,在FPGA上实现了通信系统的发送模块,将同步头数据、标志位数据 、相位校正数据、正文数据各部分数据按先后顺序有序发送,实现了模块间的无缝链接,使 系统的数据发送稳定可靠。
