“两型社会”理念为核心的高校师资开发与管理研究

＂两型社会＂是一种城市社会建设模式,更是一种现代社会发展理念。＂两型社会＂思想包括两个重要组成部分＂资源节约＂和＂环境友好＂概念。本文以这两个概念在高校人力资源开发与管理中的内涵延伸为视角,结合目前中国高等学校师资队伍的现状与特征,提出了高校完善师资开发与管理的建议。     

浅谈当前国有企业工会工作面临的问题与对策

企业工会是企业职工维权的中间组织。目前国有企业改制工作持续推进,工会的职能和内部组织结构也随之变动。笔者由当前企业工会所处的境况和存在的问题入手,提出企业重组改制阶段做好工会工作的有效对策,目的是进一步完善工会各项机制,真正发挥工会的维权职能,为企业改革、发展与稳定贡献力量。     

Labor Unions as Shareholder Activists: Champions or Detractors?

We examine the impact of labor union shareholder activism through the submission of shareholder proposals during the period 1988–2002. We examine the effect of labor union‐sponsored shareholder proposals on announcement period returns; on the corporate governance environment of the firm including shareholder rights, board composition, and CEO compensation; on changes in unionization rates and labor expense; and on long‐run shareholder wealth. We do not find any observable patterns for the overall sample of proposals. However, subsets of proposals associated with union presence at the target firm and shareholder voting support for the proposal are associated with significant effects surrounding and subsequent to targeting.     

高校教师教学能力培养的宏观、中观、微观思考

加强高校教师教学能力培养的方法与措施主要是:宏观层面,树立培养观念,明晰培养原则,并协调教学与科研失衡的现实矛盾;中观层面,倡导职位准入、岗前培训和在岗培养三管齐下;微观层面,通过提高高校教师职业道德修养和开展有效的教学反思来进行教学能力的自我建构与完善。     

基于人本价值的高职教师的绩效考核

通过分析目前我国高职教师绩效考核体系中存在的问题,针对其中不甚人性化的管理方法,融入人本价值取向,并尝试吸收奖惩性评价与发展性评价的各自优点,扬长避短,建立高职教师复合性考评指标体系,以期达到更科学、更和谐地评价教师的目的,推动教师与高校的共同进步、可持续发展。     

高职教师激励问题的研究

立足西方学者对激励理论以及实践的研究基础,对激励的基本内涵、功效以及其对高等职业技术学院教师的作用进行了全面的阐释;在调查和分析高等职业技术学院教师特点的基础上,提出了激发教师工作积极性的相应的干预策略:坚持"以人为本"的指导思想;构建积极向上的组织文化作为激励的环境;形成教师激励的最高境界———自我激励的方法;建立公开透明的合理的教师绩效考核机制。     

医学专科院校学生党建工作的现状及思考

医学高职高专院校学生党建工作中存在着学生自身素质偏低、入党目的不明确,学习主动性不强、党的理论知识匮乏,学生正式党员少、支委工作周期短,党组织活动形式单一、缺乏活动载体等问题。科学、规范地开展学生党建工作,应充分发挥学生党支部的战斗堡垒作用,建立＂学校—医院党组织联动＂的管理模式,建立早培养、早选拔的培养机制,丰富学生党员活动载体,严格党员选拔标准和程序。     

Monetary integration in the ex‐Soviet Union: A ‘union of four’?*

The governments of four ex‐Soviet countries recently discussed forming a currency union. To examine the economic feasibility of this proposition, we use conventional techniques and show that the arrangement is likely to find it difficult to handle the lack of structural symmetry, the asymmetric pattern of shocks, and the lack of market flexibility among the potential participants. Moreover, the union would be a unilateral one. It would require an unusual degree of political commitment to survive. Nonetheless, there are some subtleties in the timing and pattern of mutual dependence between Russia and Kazakhstan, and to a lesser extent in Belarus, which may reduce the strain from a currency union in those countries. Otherwise, the black market will have to provide the necessary market flexibility.     

State employees' unions and administrative reforms: comparisons between Sweden,Norway, Australia and New Zealand

This paper discusses how methodological challenges and problems were handled in a study of how state employees' unions responded to, had an impact on and were affected by new public management reforms in Sweden, Norway, Australia and New Zealand. In the study, particular emphasis was put on institutional characteristics of the unions. The paper clarifies the operational measures of this concept (construct validity) and their causal relationship to the actions and outcomes of the reform processes (internal validity). Two other aspects of research design (external validity and reliability) are also discussed. Finally, some more general lessons learned from the study are indicated.     

Product Market Integration and Wages in Unionized Countries

This paper addresses the effects of product market integration on wages. We develop a two–country general equilibrium model of international trade with imperfectly competitive product markets and unionized labor markets. Integration is modelled as either a fall in fixed or variable trade costs. A reduction in fixed trade costs leads to an unambiguous decrease in wages, whereas a reduction in variable trade costs has an ambiguous effect on wages.
