Cultural variation in response to strategic emotions in negotiations

This research examined how culture influences the effectiveness of the strategic displays of emotions in negotiations. We predicted that in cross-cultural negotiation settings, East Asian negotiators who highly regarded cultural values that are consistent with communicating respect as humility and deference would be more likely to accept an offer from an opposing party who displayed positive as opposed to negative emotion. With a sample of East Asian MBA students, the results of Study 1 confirmed this prediction. Study 2 results replicated this finding with a sample of Hong Kong executive managers and also found they were less likely to accept an offer from a negotiator displaying negative emotion than Israeli executive managers who did not hold humility and deference in such high regard. Implications for strategic display of emotions in cross-cultural settings are discussed.

本文以淀粉、植物纤维为对象,提出一种单边空腔自由发泡工艺,可弥补以往生物原料自身属性缺陷,促进复合材料成型工艺与性能提升。在成型工艺方面,主要介绍了整体透气钢镶嵌设计、自动回弹空腔设计以及排气孔设计,有效避免发泡喷料现象产生,实现发泡过程的柔性控制。在性能方面,通过试验探究的方式,重点对复合薄膜的机械性能、防水性能与表面性能进行分析。力求通过本文研究,制备出性能更加优良的全降解生物制品,对推动可持续发展具有重要意义。

Can sustained growth be attained through trading exhaustible resources for foreign research?

We analyze the existence and the stability of a sustained balanced growth equilibrium (SBE) in a model of two non-homogeneous trading economies. A technological leader country which sells patents of new intermediate products in exchange for an exhaustible resource extracted by a technological follower trade partner. Considering a growth-essential resource, the ‘knife-edge’ assumption of exactly constant returns to scale (CRS) to manmade inputs can be alleviated, and the scale effects associated with R&D-based growth models overcome. A fully endogenous SBE is proven to exist, although its stability turns out to be a ‘knife-edge’ possibility. The long-run equilibrium is saddle-path stable assuming CRS in manmade inputs. Conversely, considering increasing returns to scale together with a completely specialized two-country trade, the equilibrium could be reached only if the two economies initially guard a particular relation, described by a particular subset of the state space.     

Risk premium,macroeconomic shocks,and information technology: an empirical analysis

This study empirically identifies the impact of various macroeconomic factors on the default risk premium. Using monthly data for the period 1970–2010 for the US, our estimations indicate that the monetary policy aggregates, risk-free interest rate, term structure of interest rates, inflation, and the state of the business cycle influence the risk premium. The results also provide some evidence in support of the hypothesis that the development of information technology has had a decreasing impact on the risk premium. As expected, various financial crises have had substantial and long-lasting effects on the premium. The results suggest that the direct impact of the subprime crisis and Lehman’s collapse on the risk premium was as large as two and a half percentage-points for a sustainable period. Foreign financial crises, in turn, have lowered the risk premium in the US market, suggesting a flight-to-safety phenomenon.     

瞬变电磁法在掘进工作面超前探测中的应用

介绍了瞬变电磁超前探测技术的原理与方法,以贵州省晴隆县永荣煤矿为例,探测14101回风巷前方积水及总回风巷老空积水情况,探测掘进头顺层及顶板的低阻体异常及分布范围。探测结果表明,通过对采集到的数据进行处理,绘制视电阻率等值线断面图,结合地质资料可以准确判定地质异常区域的位置和富水性强弱。     

警方采访受害者的批评性语篇分析

社交采访一直都是批评性语篇分析家关注的重点。但是,警方采访鲜有研究,而通过分析警方采访可以发现社会秩序和语言研究方面的暗示。因此,进行批评性语篇分析时,我们值得对警方采访进行分析。本人研究的重点是分析警方和受害者之间的权力关系,同时讨论从资料中发现的其他问题。文中分析警方如何在采访过程中通过时间和地点安排、转移话题、话轮转换和较高嗓音等多种形式,行使其对于受害人的权力;警方为了消除权力分配不均给受害者造成的不安感,采取了礼貌策略;另外,本文讨论了由于受害者英语不熟练所产生的误解并分析了警方建议翻译出席的原因。     

复杂条件下综采工作面调斜回采技术研究与应用

本文从旋转调面开采的理论分析入手,巷道掘进之前超前谋划,将旋转角度由30°改为两次15°旋转,工作面推采过程中有针对性的采取控制措施,顺利完成倾斜煤层旋转开采,取得较好的技术和经济效益。
