Fits,misfits and interactions: learning at work,job satisfaction and job‐related well‐being

The resource‐based view (RBV) of the firm has focused attention on the importance of aligning employees' needs with the requirements of the jobs they do. This article focuses on how these needs and requirements interact in terms of learning. It does so in two ways. First, it develops new survey instruments to capture the learning demands of jobs and the learning dispositions of workers and uses them for the first time in a survey of 2,810 employees. Second, it examines how these person and job characteristics correlate with specific aspects of job satisfaction and job‐related well‐being. The results show that although learning alignment is associated with high levels of satisfaction and well‐being, not all learning misalignments are associated with the reverse.     

个体不健康影响因素研究

社会的急速发展和重大变化给人们带来了很多富足的物质条件和特殊机遇,同时也带来了各种新的挑战、压力与不适应。究其原因是多方面的,是遗传素质、环境、教育(特指学校教育)、个人主观能力性综合作用的结果。本文从这四个方面,就个人成长过程中主观意志与客观环境的影响作用进行深入分析。     

瑜伽对女大学生心理机能指标的调节作用

通过心理问卷调查法选取在抑郁、焦虑等方面存在心理问题的女大学生30人,根据瑜伽对人体身心健康具有的各种功效,制定出符合大学生心理特点的瑜伽处方,依据循序渐进的原则,在课外活动时间对大学生进行为期15周,每周3次的隔天练习,采用SCL-90量表分别测出实验前后女大学生身体自尊、心境及其心理健康水平,并进行统计分析,证明受试者在通过有针对性设计的瑜伽体位法训练之后,各项心理机能指标都有明显变化。     

影响高校体育教师心理健康的原因分析与对策研究

采用文献资料法、问卷调查法和数理统计法等,对高校体育教师的心理健康状况进行了调查研究,结果表明高校体育教师存在程度不等的各种心理健康问题,常见的心理问题类型包括躯体化、抑郁、焦虑和恐怖。并存在着性别和年龄的差异。本文还对高校体育教师心理健康的影响因素及对策进行探讨。     

浅谈健美操运动对大学生心理健康促进作用

健美操作为一种新型的体育项目,体现出了独特的魅力和特色,从而对广大的大学生产生了极大的吸引力。同时目前不少大学生由于各种因素的影响存在一定的心理问题。本文以健美操运动为切入点,从四个方面的内容浅谈健美操运动对大学生心理健康的促进作用。

Let Their Voices Be Seen: Exploring Mental Mapping as a Feminist Visual Methodology for the Study of Migrant Women

This article explores how mental mapping can be used as a critical methodology for feminist migration studies. In a case study of female marriage migrants who settle in rural areas in South Korea from other Asian countries, I attempt to develop mental mapping to supplement verbal interviews. Mental maps of hometowns and current neighborhoods drawn by my interviewees represent their geographical imaginations and complex identity negotiations that mirror the change in their social locations. In order to understand multilayered meanings embedded in the images and the way in which power relations existent between the researcher and the researched affect the map production, I suggest a critical reading of the maps. The article shows how a reflexive and intertextual reading makes a difference to the interpretation of the maps. It argues that the maps are not mere reflections of the women's cognition, but rather socially constructed texts through which their desires, emotions, feelings and internal contradictions are expressed and negotiated. My research suggests that mental mapping, if ethically performed and critically evaluated, has potential as a means to convey the unheard voices of the marginalized to diverse audiences.

Assessing ethical behaviours in the Spanish banking and insurance industries: evidence and challenges

This study aims to improve understanding of the ethical nature of the relations in two labour-intensive industries to facilitate the creation of an ethical culture. For this purpose, the authors first review literature related to the main influences on ethical behaviour, then perform an empirical analysis of those factors using a hierarchical stepwise regression of a database of 525 banking and insurance employees. Contrary to expectations, leadership has a less important effect on ethical behaviour than other organizational factors. The results reveal several implications for improving the management of ethical behaviour in these industries.
