Call for Papers: Special Edition of Current Issues in Tourism

Many national parks around the world are major tourist attractions. While increases in national park tourism provides business opportunities, there are several economic, social and ecological aspects that need to be monitored in order to sustain high quality visitor experiences. This paper reports findings from visitor surveys at Fulufjället National Park, Sweden–one year prior to and one year after the national park designation in 2002. The purpose is to monitor short term changes in park use. Data from on site visitor counters show a 40% increase in the number of visitors, while follow-up mail surveys reveal several changes in visitor characteristics, use patterns, expenditures and attitudes.

科技园作为区域经济发展的重要载体,越来越多地得到地方政府的大力引导、鼓励和扶持,但政府资金的公益性和有限性特征决定了科技企业必须调动市场资金参与投入,市场资金才是科技企业的投入主体。本文以科技园为中介平台,分别从科技企业与风险投资结合、与银行信贷结合的模式和策略角度,探讨了科技企业与市场资金有机结合的途径。

Escaping the Jungle

ABSTRACT

One of the most challenging, but also most interesting, features of tourism and hospitality as an area of study is that there is considerable variability in the backgrounds and training of those who are involved in its management. In some commercial sectors there is a lengthy tradition of the use of marketing as an integral component of management practice, while in public management organisations, marketing concepts are either unknown or mistrusted. This lack of application of marketing is particularly apparent in the management of tourism to protected areas such as National and State Parks and forests. An ongoing challenge in this sector is to conduct research into visitors and how they choose and enjoy their nature based leisure experiences. This article will report on a project to improve the study and management of visitors to the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area in the North Eastern part of Australia. The study involved a travel lifestyle market segmentation of over 1200 visitors to the area based on travel interests, activities and desired rainforest based tourism experiences. The analysis identified four core types of rainforest visitor and these groups were compared and contrasted in terms of their service quality ratings and overall satisfaction. The article concludes with links to the management frameworks for this tourism destination and the value of different segmentation techniques

铁路物流发展模型预测

随着物流业在我国的兴起和运输行业竞争的加剧,必然要求铁路企业物流化。为了适应这一发展趋势铁路企业必须建立自己完善的物流体系。针对此问题论文提出了构建铁路物流园区、物流化货运站的建议,以及与之相适应的一些管理方法。     

基于顶层设计思想的物流园区总体规划的研究——以上海北郊物流园区为例

文章首先分析了北郊物流园区的现状及所面临的主要问题，然后以项层设计思想为基础，对北郊物流园区的功能进行了规划．并设计了联运平台，最后提出北郊物流园区的发展战略。     

松散耦合系统与高新区“再创业”发展模式——以我国生物医药产业园为例

在国家一系列的科技发展规划和自主创新战略指导下，经过了17年发展的高新区已进入“再创业”发展阶段。通过引入松散耦合系统理论，本文设计了其基本分析框架。从“生物群落”这一“次系统”层次分析了我国高新区初创期和再创业期的松散耦合要素、形态、纽带、强度、动力和政策，同时探讨了这一转型的实现手段与方式，并以生物医药产业园区的实践介绍了这种转型的建设经验。
