The current literature is mixed regarding what factors determine expatriate performance. In this study, we developed and tested a model to examine the relationship among family problems, expatriate–efficacy, host-country nationals' (HCNs') prejudice against women, perceived organizational support (POS) and Chinese female expatriate performance in international assignments. Our results indicated that HCNs' prejudice against women had a significant negative relationship and expatriate–efficacy had a significant positive relationship with female expatriate performance. POS and family problems moderated the relationship between HCNs' prejudice against women and female expatriate performance. However, family problems were not significantly related to female expatriate performance. Implications for research and practice are discussed.  相似文献

在互联网时代,虚拟品牌社群成为企业维系顾客关系并提升核心竞争力的重要途径。现有探讨品牌社群的文献甚多,但鲜有文献从消费者心理感知层面来分析社群体验对购买意愿的影响。本研究将以降低感知不确定性理论为基础,并通过对292名有效访问者的调查实证表明,降低感知不确定性在社群体验和消费者购买意愿中起着完全中介作用。因此,企业要重视虚拟品牌社群的经营与管理,使得消费者感受到良好的社群体验,从而最终影响其购买意愿。  相似文献

Abstract

Despite the surge in interest in research on customers’ adoption of internet banking (IB), how discontinued users can be brought back to IB has not received much attention. To respond to this question and to provide a comprehensive understanding of IB customer behaviour, we develop a conceptual model grounded on the extended technology acceptance model, and empirically validate it using a sample of 614 IB customers (including those yet to adopt, current users and discontinued users) from China. Perceived value is the most important driver for explaining all categories of customers’ IB-related behaviours. Banks that implement measures that aim to increase the perceived usefulness of IB and enhance the value of IB are likely to be rewarded with increasing IB adoption amongst its customer base.  相似文献

The present study was an effort to explore the direct and indirect impacts (mediated through retailer loyalty) of retailer awareness, retailer association and retailer perceived quality on purchase intention. Seven hypotheses were developed with relevant literature support. The hypotheses were tested with primary data (n=355) collected through structured questionnaire using systematic sampling from food retail shoppers of age 18 years and above in Kolkata, a metropolitan city of India. Structural equation modeling statistical technique was used to test the hypotheses. Results revealed that retailer awareness, retailer association, retailer perceived quality and retailer loyalty have positive impacts on purchase intention. Results also found that the indirect impacts (mediated though retailer loyalty) of retailer awareness, retailer association and retailer perceived quality on purchase intention are stronger than the direct ones. Academic and managerial implications are further discussed.  相似文献

The complexity of pricing decisions and time pressures that often accompany them prompt the need for fast, simplified decision algorithms. There has been an enormous increase in the economic power and global scope of the second‐hand clothing trade since the early 1990s. Young consumers are a major driver behind the growth of the second‐hand clothing industry in the US. While the stigma of buying second‐hand clothing is fading in the western countries, little is known about second‐hand clothing consumption in the Asian countries. The purpose of this study is to empirically investigate young consumers' behaviours towards second‐hand clothing from a cross‐cultural perspective in the US and Chinese contexts. Results of this study indicated significant differences in young consumers' second‐hand clothing consumption behaviour between the two countries in the following aspects: past purchase experience, perceived values and concerns, perceived subjective norm and future purchase intention.  相似文献

Negotiation abilities are difficult to assess, and negotiation outcomes are difficult to predict. This leads to possible deficiencies in resource allocation for negotiation tasks. In this article, we discuss the merits of a data-based approach for the allocation of negotiators to negotiation tasks. We provide a framework for negotiation allocation management that includes a method for assessing negotiator strength. The negotiator strength measure compares observable negotiation outcomes relative to similar outcomes in similar situations. We provide examples for using our framework and show evidence for its appeal when using industry data. We discuss implications for managers and provide key takeaways.  相似文献

在创新驱动发展的今天,为保护员工弥足珍贵的自我创造空间,个性化工作协议成为了越来越重要的工作范式。已有研究基于自我决定理论揭示个性化工作协议促进个体创造力,但忽视了缺乏组织约束下可能带来的潜在消极影响。文章从创造蕴含的高失败风险特性和个性化工作协议潜在的身份认同特性出发,基于自我归类理论,由自我归类过程的“自我提升”和“减少不确定性”两大动机引入个性化工作协议和上级发展性反馈,构建了一个有调节的中介模型,探讨个性化工作协议对员工创造力的影响机制。通过区间估计Bootstrap法以及Johnson-Neyman法对325个有效样本进行假设检验,结果表明:个性化工作协议正向影响员工创造力;内部人身份认知发挥中介作用;上级发展性反馈正向调节内部人身份认知在个性化工作协议与员工创造力之间的中介作用。文章拓展了个性化工作协议的研究视角,表明它不仅仅是一种工作时的协议,还蕴含着高度的情感连带与主体互动,这为组织实施个性化工作协议提供了理论基础和实践启示。  相似文献
