论法律的限度——以食品安全问题的法律规制为视角

目前,食品安全问题在全球引发的危机引起了各国政府以及全世界人民的关注,不论其食品安全监督管理体系是否完善,似乎都存在发生食品安全问题的危险。人们习惯于将普遍性的对某类正当权利的不断侵害归咎于该时期的法律不健全,寄望于通过完善法律体系杜绝侵害行为的发生。但是,法律的作用只限于在适当的范围内影响违法犯罪行为由最低值向最高值发展,即使是法治社会,法律也不是唯一有效的维护国家、社会、公民合法权益的途径,法律的限度随时存在。事实上,任何增加利益相关者幸福的手段都可以纵容或抑制某种行为的发生概率,只在于我们是否知道如何正确使用他们。     

一种高分辨雷达目标识别方法

研究了宽带高分辨雷达目标识别问题，基于目标一维距离像，提取目标散射中心特征，并根据该特征设计了简单目标的目标分类器，利用暗室测量得到的缩比模型高分辨回波数据进行识别，结果表明该识别方法具有良好的识别性能。     

Characteristic properties of multivariate survival functions in terms of residual life distributions

This paper discusses the relationships among some characteristic properties of the multivariate survival function based on the residual life distribution, and provides the conditions for their equivalence. In the meanwhile, the corrected version of Ma (1996, Theorem 1 (ii) and (iii)) is given.     

Exploring the predictability of range‐based volatility estimators using recurrent neural networks

We investigate the predictability of several range‐based stock volatility estimates and compare them with the standard close‐to‐close estimate, which is most commonly acknowledged as the volatility. The patterns of volatility changes are analysed using long short‐term memory recurrent neural networks, which are a state‐of‐the‐art method of sequence learning. We implement the analysis on all current constituents of the Dow Jones Industrial Average index and report averaged evaluation results. We find that the direction of changes in the values of range‐based estimates are more predictable than that of the estimate from daily closing values only.     

The Effectiveness of Technical Trading for Arab Stocks

In this paper, we examine the profitability of technical analysis for a cross section of individual Arab stocks. Our analysis, undertaken from the perspective of an Islamic investor, reveals that technical trading rules do not yield economically or statistically significant returns. While our results uncover some scant statistical evidence of technical trading rule profitability, risk adjusting the returns weakens the evidence in favor of predictability. Furthermore, break-even transaction costs do not exceed estimated transaction costs or bid-ask spreads in the markets examined.

Socially optimal replacement of conventional with electric vehicles for the US household fleet

In this study, a framework is proposed for minimizing the societal cost of replacing gas-powered household passenger cars with battery electric ones (BEVs). The societal cost consists of operational costs of heterogeneous driving patterns' cars, government investments for charging deployment, and monetized environmental externalities. The optimization framework determines the timeframe needed for conventional vehicles to be replaced with BEVs. It also determines the BEVs driving range during the planning timeframe, as well as the density of public chargers deployed on a linear transportation network over time. We leverage data sets that represent US household driving patterns, as well as the automobile and the energy markets, to apply the model. Results indicate that it takes 8 years for 80% of our conventional vehicle sample to be replaced with electric vehicles, under the base case scenario. The socially optimal all-electric driving range is 204 miles, with chargers placed every 172 miles on a linear corridor. All public chargers should be deployed at the beginning of the planning horizon to achieve greater savings over the years. Sensitivity analysis reveals that the timeframe for the socially optimal conversion of 80% of the sample varies from 6 to 12 years. The optimal decision variables are sensitive to battery pack and vehicle body cost, gasoline cost, the discount rate, and conventional vehicles' fuel economy. Faster conventional vehicle replacement is achieved when the gasoline cost increases, electricity cost decreases, and battery packs become cheaper over the years.     

一种稀疏重建的多基地雷达多目标定位算法

采用距离和信息的多基地雷达多目标投影定位算法中,距离向脉冲压缩后分辨率降低,需要已知空间中目标个数。针对此问题,提出了一种稀疏重建的多基地雷达多目标定位方法。该方法利用多个接收机中目标稀疏度相同的特点,通过构造平均重构残余误差变化率和平均散射系数变化率作为正交匹配追踪(OMP)算法迭代终止判定条件,自适应地终止OMP算法的同时获得稀疏重建信号以及信号稀疏度的估计值,提高了距离向分辨率,获得了对空间中目标个数的估计。仿真实验表明所提算法有效抑制了距离向主瓣展宽和旁瓣串扰,提高了距离向分辨率。同时,所提算法在不同噪声环境下能准确估计空间中目标个数并提取其空间位置,实现对空间中目标的准确定位。     

一种一维距离像的识别算法

随着高分辨率雷达的发展,一维距离像识别已成为雷达目标识别的重要方法之一.为了消除一维距离像的平移,将一维距离像变换到频域,提取其频谱信息作为识别特征,并依据Fisher判据,将高维特征空间数据降到一维空间,提高了算法的实时性.仿真结果表明这是一种方便有效的识别方法.     

Cross‐Functional Integration: Concept Clarification and Scale Development

The centrality of cross‐functional integration (CFI) to supply chain theory and practice has long been recognized. Yet researchers continue to struggle with consistently defining or measuring the CFI construct, thus limiting the utility of CFI research. This research develops (1) a comprehensive definition of CFI that synthesizes previous supply chain research and (2) a valid set of scale items that measure the conceptual domain outlined by this definition. The goal is to build a common foundation for extending knowledge on CFI's antecedents and consequences, and ultimately to improve scholars’ ability to guide a broader practitioner community still struggling to achieve integration in their organizations.
