消防炮灭火系统的应用与发展趋势

随着建筑规模的逐步扩大,对消防灭火系统提出了更高要求,传统的消火栓系统已难以独立承担灭火任务。而以流量大、射程远著称的消防炮灭火系统则成为大空间消防灭火的重要设备。目前,消防炮在大空间场所的灭火中起着非常重要的作用,并将以智能化与低成本为发展方向。     

Perceptions of climate change impacts,adaptation and limits to adaption in the Australian Alps: the ski-tourism industry and key stakeholders

This paper explores perceptions of ski-tourism representatives and other regional stakeholders about climate change impacts, limits to tourism development and adaptation strategies in the Australian Alps. This area faces rising temperatures, declining rain and snow falls, and shorter skiing seasons. Open-ended interviews examined the perceptions, plans and attitudes of the ski industry and those of conservation managers, local government officials and Australian researchers into tourism and/or climate change effects in the Australian Alps. All interviewees accepted climate change was a reality; several, however, questioned the worst-case scenarios. The major tourism-related adaptation strategies were snowmaking and diversifying to year-round tourism; the success of these strategies will vary according to individual resorts’ snowmaking capacity and potential summer tourism revenue. Currently non-snow-based tourism revenue is worth only approximately 30% of winter revenue. Social resistance to increased water and electricity use for snowmaking emerged as an important issue. Competition for water, including the needs of ecosystems, agriculture and fire protection in this summer-fire-prone region, and fire management issues, is a key concern. Current conflicts between the ski industry and other stakeholders over climate change adaptation call for a collaborative adaptation and change policy within the Australian Alps.

我国在进入世界贸易组织后,经济建设更加迅猛的发展起来,城市现代化建设步伐加快,随之,城市用地也愈发的紧张,高层建筑如雨后春笋般拔地而起,而相对的消防工作也要同步提升。在高层灭火救援专业队伍建设中,要认清高层建筑的现状,强化专业技术装备的配置,加强专业技战术应用和对策研究,使我们消防部队在灭火救援中得到更好的成效,做到防、灭结合的效果。     

Wildland Fire and Organic Discourse: Negotiating Place and Leisure Identity in a Changing Wildland Urban Interface

A lack of research on the conceptual intersection of leisure, place and wildland fire and its role in identity prompted this exploratory study. The purpose of this research was to gather evidence regarding how people negotiate identities under the threat of wildland fire. Qualitative interviews with 16 homeowners and recreationists who value leisure activities in undeveloped places in Colorado's Arapaho-Roosevelt National Forest were conducted. Results show that wildland fire plays a varied role in the identities of many of the research participants. Three dominant discourses of nature (i.e., humanist, protectionist and organic) helped explain these identity-related reactions to wildland fire. An understanding of the multidimensional aspects of place and leisure identity highlighted in this research could help land managers particularly related to the organic discourse.     

Living arrangements and fire-related mortality amongst older people in Europe

Abstract

In Europe, a demographic transition has occurred meaning that countries have larger older adult populations who are increasingly living alone and receiving homecare rather than institutional care. Given that living alone is the greatest individual risk factor for fire mortality amongst older adults and that large differences exist in terms of both fire mortality risk and living arrangements between countries, this study investigates the association between co-living rates and fire mortality rates among older adults in Europe. Freely available datasets with aggregated European data on fire mortality, living arrangements among older adults, population statistics and GDP were analyzed using Poisson regression models. The results show that fire-related mortality rates amongst older adults in Europe is correlated with living arrangements after adjusting for GDP. Specifically, in Europe, when the share of older adults living alone increases by one percentage point, fire mortality rates increase by roughly 4 percent for both sexes.     

大空间建筑防火分隔措施探析

大空间由于其面积超过消防规范对防火分区的要求，如采取常规的防火分隔措施，将破坏大空间的连续性．在消防设计时一直是个难题，文章通过相关的计算，通过对火焰辐射热的分析，在会展中心内设置合理宽度的防火隔离带．以达到进行防火分隔的目的。     

腾龙公寓火灾模拟研究

为了对高校学生公寓进行火灾风险研究,运用FDS软件中的大涡模型模拟某高校腾龙公寓发生火灾后的烟气运动特征和区域温度变化情况。模拟结果表明,火灾初期烟气快速聚集,温度缓慢上升,是扑灭火灾的最佳时期;当火灾进入明火燃烧阶段时,火势将全面爆发,室内温度高达几百摄氏度,火灾难以扑灭。安装喷淋系统和排烟系统后,火势将得到明显控制。

灭火救援安全撤离问题,对于公安机关消防机构来说,不仅是一个技术性极强的专业问题,同时也是一个是否履行法定职责的法律问题.公安机关消防机构在灭火救援中既要用法律来保卫公民和组织的生命、健康和财产安全,同时也要用法律来保护自己的生命权.为此,在法律上应当设立保护性的免责条款,其中就涉及到安全撤离问题,这个问题包含安全撤离的概念、根据和构成条件三个方面的内容.
