Using Simulation and Data Envelopment Analysis to Compare Assembly Line Balancing Solutions

This paper presents a technique for comparing the results of different assembly line balancing strategies by using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). Initially, several heuristics--which can be thought of as assembly line balancing strategies--were used to solve seven line-balancing problems. The resulting line balance solutions provided two pieces of information that were of particular interest: the number of workers needed and the amount of equipment needed. These two items were considered inputs for DEA. The different line balance solutions were then used as layouts for simulated production runs. From the simulation experiments, several output performance measures were obtained which were of particular interest and were used as outputs for DEA. The analysis shows that DEA is effective in suggesting which line balancing heuristics are most promising.     

Optimization of postal express line network under mixed driving pattern of trucks

Details about the movement of trucks on postal express lines are investigated to improve the performances of mail distribution. A mixed driving pattern of trucks is introduced to minimize the transportation cost of a postal express line network with a service level requirement. We formulate this problem as a mixed p meeting depots location with shipment scheduling problem and build a MINLP model. A two-level tabu search procedure based on shipment grouping method is developed. Through a series of computational experiments and sensitivity analysis on different instances, some managerial insights of the network under mixed driving pattern are revealed.

电力线载波通信是用电力线路作为通信媒介进行数据传输。介绍了在低压配电线上用电力线载波专用芯片ST7536实现数据的传输,采用电力线载波形式,设计出了一个家电网络控制系统,对家电网络进行远程集中控制,可以对多路家用电器的运行情况进行实时监测和控制,并分析了电力线通信的通道特性及其干扰,结合电力通信的特点提出了解决办法。     

基于单元星形光纤网的最大总光程及其求解方法

研究了单元星形光纤网中,最多光路数目与最大允许光链路损耗间的关系,推出了在给定最大允许光链路损耗、不同光路数目时各路总光程的求解方法,进而得到最佳光路数目与最大总光程,最终得出六条结论。     

项目管理视角下政府与企业应对技术壁垒的协调机制

国外技术壁垒的应对是一个复杂的系统工程,政府和企业是这一系统中的主体,二者如何分工配合、协同应对是实现跨越的关键。本文应用项目管理的手段,在协同目标的基础上,通过工作分解及责任分配矩阵来设置跨越国外技术壁垒过程中政府与企业的协同关系,从而为我国建立跨越国外技术壁垒的协调机制提供一个新思路。     

中国轿车产业中的产品线扩展——模型分析与经验考察

产品线扩展是多产品企业的主要竞争手段之一,也是实证产业组织理论研究的重点内容。以中国轿车产业为背景,本文理论模型表明,一个成长产业中,产品线延伸可以提高企业市场占有率和盈利能力,而合资企业在取得产品线扩展先动优势时,还获得了品牌价值的升水,长期竞争的结果是产品线的重叠和趋同。基于中国轿车产业的实证分析在一定程度上证明了理论假设的存在,本文还提出了本土企业优化产品线的策略性建议。

当前我国经济生活中存在的一个突出的现象是价格战与行业自律定价并存。从中国参与出口的同质企业所结成的价格卡特尔表明:出口企业追求利润最大化行为的结果必然陷入"囚徒困境",表现为价格大战;在没有外在强制力量时,企业尽管可以相互依存,仍然走不出困境;如果惩罚条款这一承诺行动可以置信,则出现合作均衡;优势企业也可促使合作均衡的出现。
