转轨经济中的结构调整既包括正常经济发展过程中的结构调整,又包括转轨本身所引致的结构调整。就转轨本身所引致的结构调整来说,又包含产业结构的调整和所有制结构的调整两重含义。就正常经济发展过程中的结构调整来说,俄罗斯面对的是成熟经济的结构调整的困难问题。就转轨本身所引致的结构调整来说,俄罗斯不具备增量调整的条件,无法克服转轨经济中的“两难困境”。俄罗斯经济绩效差具有事前决定的特点,是事前决定了的。     

业务流程再造与组织结构变革——中国工商银行厦门分行扁平化改革的探索与实践

业务流程再造和组织结构变革是构造科学公司治理结构的重要一环。2005年上半年,作为工商银行总行进行城市行机构扁平化改革试点的厦门分行,在整合业务流程、优化组织架构、完善管理机制等方面进行了积极的探索,同年8月对辖属网点全面实施了直通式管理。厦门分行的扁平化改革遵循“以推行集约化经营为目标,整合业务流程,以梳理业务流程为基础,优化组织架构”的总体思路,坚持以客户为中心、以效益为导向、以内控为基础和以人为本、循序渐进的原则,实行分行-支行两级机构管理模式,合理确定网点支行的管理半径,分专业进行业务流程重组,取得了一定的成绩。

以山东滨化集团热力公司二期项目锅炉补给水二期2x100t／h反渗透扩建工程为背景,结合锅炉补给水处理的主要工艺方案特征,基于招标博弈为前提,分析了电厂水处理系统方案优化的新途径。     

建设项目设计阶段的投资控制

针对近年来国内建设项目普遍存在“三超”现象，分析了造成严重投资失控问题的主要原因，指出在设计阶段进行投资控制对于全面控制建设项目总投资的重要性。研究了如何运用价值工程、推行优化设计、限额设计和标准设计等方法，达到在设计阶段有效地控制投资的目的。     

Behavioral assumptions and theory development: the case of transaction cost economics

From a critical realist perspective, I discuss the role played by behavioral assumptions in organization theories, and use transaction cost economics as an illustrative example. Core behavioral assumptions often constitute the foundation of the mechanismic explanations of a theory, and thus should play a pivotal role in theory development. I distinguish between assumption‐based and assumption‐omitted theory testing, and show that empirical research in transaction cost economics has been dominated by assumption‐omitted testing. To establish a solid foundation for a new theory, management researchers should pay more attention to assumption‐based testing. Copyright © 2006 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

Key Determinants of the Stage of Internationalisation of Australian Wineries

A four stage measure capturing, awareness, interest, trial and adoption is employed to identify the key determinants of the stage of internationalisation of Australian wineries. Drawing from data from 292 wineries and using structural equation modelling techniques, this paper analyses the effects of a multitude of factors previously hypothesised to influence the stage of internationalisation. The results indicate that while these wineries exhibit characteristics described in the extant literature, significant differences remain. The paper concludes by discussing the limitations and areas for further research.     

Benefiting from network position: firm capabilities,structural holes,and performance

While strategy scholars primarily focus on internal firm capabilities and network scholars typically examine network structure, we posit that firms with superior network structures may be better able to exploit their internal capabilities and thus enhance their performance. We examine how innovative capabilities—both those of focal firms and those they access through their networks—influence the performance of Canadian mutual fund companies. We find that a firm's innovative capabilities and its network structure both enhance firm performance, while the innovativeness of its contacts does not do so directly. Innovative firms that also bridge structural holes get a further performance boost, suggesting that firms need to develop network‐enabled capabilities—capabilities accruing to innovative firms that bridge structural holes. Information congruity in scarcity appeal: A structural equation modeling study of time-limited promotions

Although market scarcity such as time restriction is widely used in retail advertisements, its impact on product message processing and product evaluation is still subject to controversy. In this study, analyses through structural equation modeling indicated that (i) scarcity had no impact on product message processing, (ii) scarcity had a direct impact on product evaluation as a heuristic cue when the value inferred from scarcity was congruous with the worth derived from product message, and (iii) scarcity lost its impact on product evaluation when the value inferred from scarcity was incongruous with the worth derived from product message, and the incongruity prompted scrutiny of product message, resulting in a mediated impact of product message on product evaluation through product message processing. In conclusion, the results supported an information congruity theory of market scarcity.
