EAP理念下大学英语“合作学习”教学模式探究

从上世纪七十年代起，“合作学习”作为学术英语（EAP）能力培养的主要途径引来不少教师的关注，但将其科学合理地运用于教学课堂，并研究其实际开展的例子不多。文章以“行动研究”为框架，对实际教学实践中“合作学习”教学模式进行系统探究，通过文献查找、课堂观摩和教师访谈等研究方法搜集数据。研究表明，“异质组”是“合作学习”前最佳分组方式；“合作学习”任务应将趣味性、真实性、目标性合为一体；而教师不应过度介入学生“合作学习”中。     

Technological change in the military aircraft industry

This paper analyzes technological change in the U.S. military aircraft industry. It divides this technological change into two components, methods of production and product quality innovations. The basic findings of this paper are obtained from a comparison of the F-4 and F-15 technologies. The results show that new production technologies reduce the costs of manufacturing a weapon system, but that product improvements substantially increase costs.     

高校学生课外体育活动形式分析

通过对广西8所成人和高职院校学生课外体育活动的问卷调查显示，学生对参加课外体育活动的目的明确，认知良好，由于场地器材有限和组织管理不够完善，学生参加课外体育活动时间少，活动频度不足。建议从体育教学改革入手，充分利用现有场地器材和学生体育社团、体育俱乐部、体育兴趣小组的体育骨干力量，让更多的学生自觉参加到课外体育活动形式中去。     

保定市大学生医疗保险制度运行探析

为帮助大学生顺利完成学业,保障大学生享有基本医疗卫生服务权益,国务院于2008年年底决定将大学生纳入城镇居民基本医疗保险试点范围。制度运行两年多来取得了可喜的成绩,也暴露出许多问题。通过对保定市六所高校在校生进行问卷调查,发现问题集中表现为:大学生对制度了解较少,参保率低,学校医疗机构服务质量差、效率低,制度保障范围狭窄,转移接续难等。本文将根据分析结果,阐述问题根结所在,并试提出解决方案。目的是使大学生医疗保险制度真正能提高大学生的医疗福利水平,减轻大学生的医疗费用的负担。     

大学语文教材建设中的浮华倾向——大学语文课教改探索之一

大学语文的教材建设,从三十年前的等米下锅,到了现在的供大于求,确是一件值得肯定的功德。但是,数量的激增,并没有保证质量同步提高,而是良莠不齐。我认为,现在的教材编写呈现出"高大全"的共同特征。所谓高大全就是身材高(厚度惊人)、体制大、规模全。这样的规制让教师无从着手施教,束缚了、限制了、失却了教师的体认和感悟,自作多情地剥夺了教师独立思考的权力,挤占了教师展开想象的空间,也使得学生到了无从学习、无可学习、无力学习的地步。大学语文教材建设中整体表现出的这种浮华倾向,亟需引起人们的警醒。     

Corporate characteristics and the corporate socialization of local (Mexican) managers of U.S. multinational corporations

This paper examines the proposition that local nationals employed as (local) managers by foreign subsidiaries of multinational corporations have managerial attitutes which are generally between those of indigenous managers employed by domestic firms in both the parent and host countries. The evidence strongly suggests that the concept has validity, and that the organization attributes of capital, R&D, and marketing intensity influence the managerial attitudes of the three groups of managers and the differences among these attitudes.     

Selection and motivation of distribution intermediaries

This article reviews factors necessitating the application of effective selection and motivation criteria when using independent distributors. It reports findings concerning the criteria utilized by samples of US and UK manufacturing companies. Generally, there appears to be much that is acumenical in the efforts of firms in both countries. However, there also seems to be considerable scope for improvement in selecting and motivating distributors.     

对我校一二年级学生词汇状况的调查

学生词汇状况很大程度上决定其语言水平的高低,对于选择正确的教学方法和合适的教材具有重要意义。本次词汇调查以一、二年级学生为对象,调查内容涉及词汇的形、音、义及其准确使用的程度,旨在了解学生掌握词汇的实际情况,改进教学方法。     

Measures of brand attitude: Are cognitive structure approaches really needed?

Recent research on attitude toward the advertisement provides a theoretical base that questions the usefulness of multiattribute attitude measures. Arguments for global measures of brand attitude in affect-referral choice situations are presented. The two types of measures are tested as predictors of purchase intentions for ten supermarket brands. Global brand attitudes demonstrated greater predictive value for nine of the ten test brands.     

A survey of sales management practices

When ascertaining what sales management tools and practices to use, one approach would be for sales managers to compare the tools and practices they are presently using (or contemplating) with those used in other firms. This article provides sales managers with the opportunity for such a comparison by presenting the results of a study that examined what tools and practices sales managers are currently employing.
