This study evaluates two traditional methods of segmenting industrial markets based on firm innovativeness. There are two distinct innovativeness measures used in the literature. The first innovativeness measure is based on the time of adoption of a single product. Segmenting an industrial market based in this measure was found to be predictive of a firm's relative time of adoption of related products. The second innovativeness measure is based on the usage of multiple products at a single point in time. Segmentation based on this measure captured the degree of adoption or usage of a new product. However, neither of these measures captured both the time of adoption and the degree of adoption constructs of innovativeness. Therefore, a third innovativeness measure is proposed here which is a hybrid of the two traditional measures. This composite measure captured both innovativeness constructs.  相似文献

As crypto-currency has been gained great attention in financial market, it becomes more popular among institutional investment managers’ portfolios. Thus this research makes a pioneering study to investigate the role of crypto-currencies in PE company portfolios and factors affecting the institutional investors’ investment intention in order to enhance the reliability of their investment products. Data were obtained from 253 multinational PE company investment managers who have bought and used crypto-currency. The findings suggest not only important roles or drivers but also the moderating roles of innovativeness on relationships between the investment intention and its antecedents. It suggests that price volatility doesn’t lower institutional investors’ confidence as long as the market can offer timely and accurate price change information to meet investors’ price consciousness. The result also identifies that crypto-currency with high familiarity and trust can be well-suited in institutional investors’ portfolios.  相似文献

In recent years, mobile wallets (m-wallets), a special form of mobile payment, have garnered much attention in various emerging markets. M-wallets were designed to offer customers swiftness, ease of use, efficiency, effectiveness, transparency, and accessibility. Despite these benefits, usage intentions and adoption of m-wallets in most emerging markets have been low, and they have not received widespread acceptance. Notably, existing research related to intentions to use (IUs) mobile payments has largely focused on developed economies and mobile payments in general. Additionally, few studies have examined intentions to recommend (ITRs), even though researchers have recognized that word-of-mouth is an important driver of consumer behavior. In the present study, we addressed the lack of specific findings on use and recommendation intentions in the context of m-wallets by conducting a large cross-sectional survey of 1256 smartphone users based on diffusion of innovation theory (DOI). Results revealed that relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, and observability were significantly associated with participants' intentions toward m-wallets. However, trialability had no association with participants’ intentions to use and recommend m-wallets to others.  相似文献

This article addresses the enactment of public procurement and its influence on adoption and diffusion of innovation, using a case study of public procurement of a low-tech medical device innovation in Swedish healthcare. Based on interviews and documentation, the article illustrates the various perspectives of the different professions involved in the complex task of setting the requirement specification for the tender. The technology identities of the medical device (innovation) are constructed and negotiated by the actors: procurement administrators, health-care professionals and suppliers within the adoption space. Examining the enactment of the procurement process as part of the adoption space is a way to deepen our understanding of the social component within public procurement.  相似文献

在小世界网络中,采用节点具有记忆功能的创新扩散模型进行仿真实验,考察了两种不同的创新扩散方式——集中式扩散和分散式扩散在小世界网络中创新扩散效果的优劣。实验结果表明,在小世界网络中采用分散式扩散要比采用集中式扩散的效果好,具体体现在扩散的时间短、范围广,而且在创新抵触型网络中能更有效地进行扩散。同时更进一步发现,通过增加节点的"创新感知"能有效地改进节点在网络中的扩散效果,大大减少节点在扩散前期所花费的时间,使节点避免出现"Lock-in"现象。  相似文献

服务创新系统状态取决于社会网络中知识主体之间的有效连接,服务创新关系优化表现为社会网络知识链结点之间,知识服务关系和创新过程的协同。通过分析基于社会网络拓扑结构的服务创新关系结构特征,从不同维度的结构关系研究其对创新性知识扩散过程产生影响,解析知识扩散过程和创新价值实现的效率。通过构建基于社会网络的SIR知识扩散模型,进一步对基于服务创新关系的知识扩散过程进行数量界定,提出了优化知识扩散效果、促进区域科技成果转化的对策。  相似文献

通过高新区的率先发展带动周边地区的发展,是我国区域经济发展的重要战略之一。但目前我国大部分高新区的扩散效应不明显、辐射带动能力较弱,主要表现为"孤岛经济"、"体制回归"和"边界阴影"等现象大量存在。分析认为,其根本原因是高新区经济位势不高、扩散渠道不畅和高新区周边地区承接能力不强。针对我国大部分高新区扩散功能不足的表征和原因,提出了5点对策建议。  相似文献

从众行为影响管理创新扩散已成为共识,社会媒体参与下的从众行为发生了诸多变化,进而影响管理创新扩散的方向和速度。创造性地将从众行为解构为从众搜索、从众转换和信息传播3个要素,分析了社会媒体对3个要素的影响。构建了社会媒体参与下从众行为影响管理创新扩散的系统动力学模型,通过仿真发现:降低从众搜索强度和提高从众转换概率会改变管理创新扩散方向,而变化信息传播结构不会改变扩散方向,但会加速扩散过程。  相似文献
