浅谈大学班主任提高自身修养的重要性

班级是一个学校最基本的教学单位,班主任作为一个班级最直接的管理者和引路人,班主任的道德水平和自身修养很大程度上直接影响着班级学生的成长。要成为一名合格的班主任,需要的不仅仅是自身的专业技术水平高,还要求班主任具有较高的自身修养,即班主任要让自己达到"五优"的要求,即:道德素质优、文化素质优、心理素质优、能力素质优以及身体素质优,从而使自己成为一个全方位优秀的班主任。

A Bayesian Net Benefit Approach to Cost‐effectiveness Analysis in Health Technology Assessment

The economic literature on cost‐effectiveness analysis in the context of decisions by health technology assessment agencies assumes as the quantity of interest a linear combination of the mean of the sampling distribution of the effectiveness and the cost. We argue that this is not always reasonable. Our reasons for this assertion are that (i) treatments are compared on the basis of mean values, and for some useful models the mean of the distribution of the cost, which is conditional on the available data, does not exist, and (ii) even for models for which the mean does exist, it might not constitute an accurate reflection of the distribution. This paper presents a general Bayesian cost‐effectiveness analysis of a single treatment, where the quantity of interest is the distribution, conditional on the data, of the net benefit. This approach permits a natural extension to several treatments, which enables us to make a statistical comparison. Illustrations with treatment comparisons for real and simulated data are given.     

Generation Y employees' retail work experience: The mediating effect of job characteristics

This research examines Generation Y employees' retail work experience. Based upon Brown and Peterson's [Brown SP, Peterson RA, Antecedents and consequences of salesperson job satisfaction: meta-analysis and assessment of causal effects. J Mark Res 1993; 30: 63-77; Brown SP, Peterson RA, The effect of effort on sales performance and job satisfaction. J Mark 1994; 58: 70-80.] job satisfaction model, Gen Y employees work experience framework encompasses the work environment variables of role conflict, role ambiguity, supervisory support, and work involvement to predict job performance, job satisfaction, and, ultimately, retail career intention. Drawing from the job crafting perspective in management theory [Wrzesniewski and Dutton, 2001], this research tests the mediating effect of job characteristics between work environment and job outcomes using structural equation modeling. Study participants were members of a national sample of students (n = 803) from 14 universities in the United States. The findings indicate that job characteristics have a critical mediating role on the relationships for Gen Y employees, suggesting a paradigm shift from passive to active employees who craft their jobs, roles, and selves within a retail organizational context.     

Time as symbolic currency in knowledge work

The paper discusses the issue of time slips in software development. Increasing time sacrifices toward work constitutes an important part of modern organizational environment. In fact, the reign over time is a crucial element in controlling the labor process. Yet a lack of cultural studies covering different approaches to this issue remains—particularly those focusing on high-skilled salaried workers.This article is a small attempt to fill this gap, based on an analysis of unstructured qualitative interviews with high-tech professionals from a B2B software company. It focuses on the issue of timing in IT projects, as perceived by software engineers. The findings indicate that managerial interruptions in work play an important part in the social construction of delays. However, interruptions from peer software engineers are not perceived as disruptive. This leads to the conclusion that time is used in a symbolic way, both for organizational domination and solidarity rituals. The use of time as a symbolic currency in knowledge-work rites is presented as often influencing the very process of labor and schedules. It is revealed to be the dominant evaluation factor, replacing the officially used measures, such as efficiency, or quality.
