略论渔业互助保险制度的建构

进行渔村建设为渔民提供完善的渔业保险是社会主义新农村建设在渔区的重要内容。在分析我国目前渔业保险模式的基础上,重点分析了渔业互助保险模式的基础性地位及存在的困境及原因,提出了建构我国渔业互助保险的可行性建议。     

The supply of qualified nurses: a classical model of labour supply

The need to ensure adequate numbers of nurses is a key requirement of the current modernization of the UK NHS. However, it is unclear how effective wages are as an instrument to maintain or increase the nursing workforce, both in terms of absolute numbers and in the number of whole time equivalents. This study sets out to estimate a classical model of labour supply for British qualified married or cohabiting nurses and midwives, looking at both the participation decision and the hours of work supplied. Data are from the Quarterly Labour Force Survey over the years 1999–2000. Participation and hours of work are found to be inelastic with respect to own wage. These results suggest that increasing the wage would only have a moderate effect on labour supply. Interestingly, there is no significant statistical difference between having a child of nursery age (3–4) and having a child of school age (5–15) on participation and hours supplied. This suggests that recent policy initiatives to increase female labour force participation, through the provision of free nursery places, has been successful. Preliminary analysis of a split private and public sector sample suggests that hours supplied are completely inelastic with respect to wages in the public sector.     

Classroom Games: The Allocation of Renewable Resources Under Different Property Rights and Regulation Schemes

The authors describe a renewable resource allocation game designed to stimulate students' interest in and understanding of market failure associated with open-access types of resource use. They also use the game to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of various property rights and regulation schemes. Because this exercise demonstrates the power of unregulated and regulated economic incentives, many types of students may benefit from this game, including undergraduates enrolled in the standard introductory and in more advanced microeconomics classes, as well as courses in environmental economics and natural resource economics. This game was specifically designed so that noneconomics majors in natural resource management and environmental courses could also benefit.

针对我国养殖型渔业合作社的落后,各种配套的扶持措施还没有很好地建立起来的现状,分析养殖型渔业合作社的独特性,剖析我国养殖型渔业合作社发展的制约因素,得出我国各省区之间养殖型渔业合作社发展极端不平衡,与各地区发展水产养殖的资源禀赋条件约束、渔民的认知度及融资条件有高度的相关性,同时也与地方政府对于养殖型渔业合作社的相关政策缺位有关。据此,有针对性地提出了相应的解决对策。

近半个世纪以来,世界大宗淡水鱼产业发展迅速,不仅产量显著增长、产值不断提高,并且在结构和模式上发生明显变化.我国是世界上第一大大宗淡水鱼生产国和消费国,世界大宗淡水鱼生产情况需要我们认真研究和把握.本文概述世界大宗淡水鱼产业发展的现状,从产量产值、获取结构、品种结构、地区结构等方面总结产业发展的特点和趋势,并考察中国大宗淡水鱼生产在世界的位置,为我国大宗淡水鱼产业的科学发展提供参考.     

江西省渔业自然灾害分析及其对策

江西热量分布的地区差异明显,降水量大,且在季节上分布不均,年际间变化率也比较大,从而形成低温、干旱、洪涝等自然灾害交替出现,给渔业生产造成严重危害。针对这些特点,结合渔业生产的实际,作者提出了相应的防灾、减灾,保障渔业生产的建议与对策     

关于生态渔业若干问题的探讨

本文从理论与实践的结合上论述生态渔业的概念及其在我国的发展,发展生态渔业的必要性与可行性,生态渔业的类型与模式,提高渔业生态经济效益的措施,并提出了面临的问题与建议,以促进我国生态渔业的发展,实现可持续渔业的发展战略目标     

Stochastic Production and Heterogeneous Risk Preferences: Commercial Fishers' Gear Choices

We present a model of fishers' gear choice, which allows for heterogeneity both in production technology and risk preferences and apply it on a panel of Swedish trawlers. Stochastic revenue functions are estimated and used to predict the mean and standard deviation of revenue for each trip. In a random-parameters logit model, we test if these predicted values explain gear choice. A majority of fishers respond positively to increased mean and negatively to increased variability of expected landing values, indicating risk aversion, but also show a strong tendency to choose the same gear used on the previous trip.
